Returned. Regular size was too large; and the laces ran through material pieces, which I personally did not like. It made the lacing take longer. metal grommets are so much better.

Purchased these in-store. They are comfortable hikers that fit well. NOT watertight at all. I got caught in a rainstorm for ten minutes. My feet/socks were soaking wet. Shoes were not submerged in water, just a rain storm and walking through puddles. These could be improved by actually making them "Best for rain, mud and other wet conditions," as the description states. I was not at all "submerged in water." The "TEK2.5 Pro waterproof membrane in upper" DOES NOT keep feet dry.

The sides are too high and hit my ankle wrong when walking.

Bought because said good in rain. Just came home w soaking wet socks after 1.5 hr on easy, clear trails and light to mid-heavy rain. Slippery as heck on wet stones and roots. Zero grip.

I bought these shoes because they are supposed to be good for damp/wet conditions. The description states "Best for rain, mud and other wet conditions." They are not. Although comfortable, my socks and feet get wet, quite wet just walking in wet grass at a city park. I should have read the review of someone who purchased these and said their socks got wet and LL Bean had the audacity to say it must be because its likely wicking down into the shoe from the top - ex. heavy rain or high dewy grass. Excuse me? They are great for rain or other wet conditions unless of course, it comes from above? For the cost of these shoes, they should live up to the description. Do better LL Bean.

I loved the style and color of these shoes. Was looking for a light weight hiking boot to take on a trip. After several wears, with good socks, the back of the shoe just kept rubbing against my heel causing an abrasion. Had to return them.

Didn't hold up. I hiked Utah for 5 days (Zion, Bryce,Moab Arches). They did not get wet. The material around the ankle and heel began to shred on both shoes! The soles didn't wear down but the grip wasn't great. I returned them and got a full refund. For the price, they should have lasted more than 5 days. They were true to size and comfortable.
