I bought these shoes for a trip to Scotland during which I would be doing a lot of walking. My foot has a high, rigid arch, and I supinate (roll out). My heel is narrow, and I have a wide toe box. I need a shoe with a curved last that permits my toes to roll off the surface. These are lessons I have learned from years of running, and I apply these requirements to walking shoes as well. These shoes really delivered. They were very comfortable (6-7 miles of walking/day), and I didn't slip once even on wet cobblestones. My feet, knees and hips felt great. Highly recommend. In terms of sizing, I would say true to size with the following caveat. In regular shoes, I wear a women's size 7-7.5. In a running shoe, I always size up to an 8-8.5 depending upon the shoe. I bought an 8 in this shoe, and it was perfect. It did not slip on my foot. The shoe comes equipped with the option to thread a runner's loop which I did utilize.

I was looking for a light weight, waterproof trail shoe with good support and these checked all the boxes! Super comfortable- perfect for my trip to Africa this fall!

Great hiking shoes. I purchased them for a trip to The Canadian Rockies. Wore them for 9 straight days of total comfort. Great grip for not slipping on the rocks.

I love the Elevation trail runner women's shoes. They are great for summer walking, and for me, light hiking. The shoe fits like it was made for me. I have a medium width and a narrow heel. No rubbing and was comfortable right from the box. I always get waterproof trail shoes as it rains a lot where I live.

I needed a waterproof shoe for a cruise I am going on. I have a wide foot, bunions and struggle to find shoes that aren't painful. The first time I tried these on, they were comfortable with no pressure points. They are also lightweight, with nice traction. They look more like a sneaker so more versatile than a hiking boot. I have worn them in a light rain and my feet stayed dry.

I've had this shoe for a year. I travel a lot by plane and wear these in the airport. So comfortable and lightweight. My go-to travel shoe.

These waterproof hiking shoes are soooo comfortable and stylish! Yay!

At first I thought they were not going to be a good fit. There was a spot on my ankle that seemed to be rubbing, but it cleared up after a week. I really like the sneakers. Jack and a woman helped me at the Williston Vermont Store!

I bought these for our river cruise this spring. I know we will be walking on cobblestone streets and needed shoes with support. As an extra bonus, these are waterproof! I tested them out before we left and hope they stay as comfortable as they are now.

Half my clothing I took on the cruise is L.L. Bean and these shoes complemented my shirt, Pants and shorts perfectly. The grip was superior on all port excursions as well as ships deck. I also like the fact that they are waterproof. Wore them the entire day in comfort, make sure you have your L.L. Bean socks, too.

These are the most comfortable trail running shoes I have ever purchased. Great support in the heal and comfort throughout the shoe. Much more comfortable and supportive than my Solomon's.

Shoes are very comfortable. I usually prefer Wide width, but I have no problem with these in medium width.

If comfort is important then this shoe will be a fit. It's not as heavy as a hiking shoe but sturdier than a sneaker which works for those of us who have taken to walking everyday more pleasant. The toes have plenty of room to move and yet the shoe is not loose. I highly recommend this shoe as as plus it's also not bad looking.

They are lightweight and comfortable on my size 7 foot and the laces adjust to accommodate my bunions. The blue goes great with denim jeans. An added plus is that the laces stay tied really well.

I love these shoes. I am a pharmacist and I seem to wear out a lot of shoes. Fast. These fit great..have great support and great tread. My feet are as comfortable in them as feet can be that stand all day. I also use them to walk on my days off. They are well made and cute.

Put them on first day and wore them the next 10 days to Europe. Totally comfortable

This is my second pair of these shoes! I'm not a trail runner, but am a hiker, and I wear them all the time (around the house, gardening, etc...) because they are so comfortable! I love these shoes!

Just right for dog walks on soggy trails. Feet stay dry and comfortable.

They fit well and certainly shed heavy dew. I haven't worn them in a downpour yet.

These have been a perfect shoe. Fit great right out of the box and very comfortable. I have lots of foot problems and it's unusual to find a pair of shoes that I can say that about. Use them for walking the dog everyday and light hiking.

True to size, no break in time required! Wore them right away a full day of walking at Legoland Florida!

Excellent shoe. Very comfortable. Hiked through Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Sturdy but lightweight.
