I loved this shoe, but I ordered from the website and even though the color name was "sun/navy", in the picture it looked like a light tan and navy. When the shoes arrived, they were a bright yellow and navy, which I didn't like. I don't think you can rely on the colors in the pictures. Now I have to return them. Definitely order a size smaller, as other reviewes have indicated.

I love this boot. However, please note: I have the LLBean slippers in size 9 (and I wear an 8.5 or 9 sized shoe from any other company). With this boot, I had to return mine for a size 7 - since both size 8 and 9 were too large for my feet. I recommend that anyone ordering this shoe orders a size or two smaller than they normally wear.

I read the reviews before I ordered so I knew they ran large and wide. I normally wear an 8 but ordered a 7. You can tighten the shoe strings on the sides to help with sizing and also wear thick socks. They definitely keep your feet warm and dry. If you don't mind wearing thicker socks I definitely recommend these boots.

I love these boots! I made sure to read the reviews about the sizing before I bought them. I wear a size 10, so I decided to buy several different sizes to make sure I got the perfect fit. I ordered a 9D, 9B, and and 8D. The 9B fit perfectly, so I sent the other two back. Of course, I have the LL Bean credit card, so return shipping is always free! :)

Bought a size 8 since I am a true 8.5 and no matter how tight I pull the strings and even with my thickest socks they are slipping off my heel as I walk. Going to return and wait eagerly for the 7. Excellent construction, comfortable and perfect for rainy days.

I ordered this and having read the reviews i ordered a size 7M at the advice. I am usually a size 8-8.5 depending on the shoe so I thought getting a 7 would be plenty small enough. However, my feet are swimming in the 7's. I have about a centimeter of space at my heel when my toes are comfortably in the front of the shoe. I will return these shoes and hope the size 6 is the correct size. when I tried on the 7's, not even wearing a pair of big socks filled up the space.

Suggested size for ordering was accurate. Width was narrow enough but heel too wide. Tried thicker socks but heel still too loose. I loved the quality of these shoes. Very disappointed to have to return them.

These are great shoes, but are very big! We have to return them and get a size smaller. I normally where a 7.5 or 8, and I am going to have to order a 6. But I would suggest these for everyone. They keep your feet dry!!

The rubber moc is perfect for outdoor yard use but the sizing is way off. I had to return my first pair because no where does it say the shoes run a whole size larger than the size you order. Even with a thick sock the 8 that I always wear was way to big. Ordered a pair in a size 7 and they fit fine, with a thick sock!

The color really appeals to me; unfortunately, I had to return the mocs as I ordered a size up from my regular size, which is 7 1/2 . I received the usual excellent customer service and was advised I should order a size down, a 7. I exchanged for new size and will receive them sometime in February. I look forward to wearing them.

These run large. I normally take an 8.5 so ordered up thinking with socks they would fit. But had to send back for an 8, still some room in them. Unfortunately, that pair came with ripped lace. Back again.

I kept these because I need them, and they are SO cute, but I wear a size 6, and of course, your size 6 is too big. So I will wear them with heavy socks and have put thick heel protectors in the back of them. But they're still too big. Doesn't anyone have my size feet anymore? Many years ago I had these in brown, then the only color, and they fit--so you used to make my size. What happened?

Heavy shoes, but look to be functional for walking anywhere in a heavy rain. Run big. I took a whole size smaller and they fit. There are some rough threads inside so I will wear socks with mine to prevent blisters.

I ordered a size down, as recommended, but they were too large

Unfortunately the bottom of the shoe inside under the shoe has started to separate, an extra insole fixes the problem. The outside is fine

This fits like a 8.5 rather than 7. My daughter wears 8.5 and her heal slipped in the back like mine. The red is very pretty but the pink suede tongue where it ties sticks up weirdly and no way to tighten them. Returning. I have 4 pairs of bean boots and they are all 7.

I bought these to keep my feet dry in damp garden conditions, not going into water.. These are the rose pink/med blue that were on sale. For the sale price they are OK. But once the pink leather gets even damp it comes off on my socks. Also for a medium they a are really wide, even for thick socks. On the plus side, the last pair I owned lasted for decades and although my socks have traces of pink, my feet are dry. Mission accomplished.

Reminded me of the Blue-footed Boobie Bird. Not the same low boot I used to wear from LL Bean. Hoping with a pair of heavy Sox they will work in the winter but not for the damp autumn mornings.

This is my third pair of L.L. Bean rubber mocs . The laces on the previous two pair have broken after a few months of use. From then on I improvise with twine. Llbean will relace them, but the user has to pay for shipping cost both ways. I continue to buy these because they are ideal for work in the barn and garden. L.L. Bean, if you are listening, come up with better laces or an easier way to relace them at home.

When did you guys start making the soles of these shoes so thin?. If you get these, you better get insoles to go with.

Too Big! I went down a size when I tried them on. I should have gone down two sizes. I thought I could fix this with tightening the laces. Still falling off my feet. The red shoes were exactly what I wanted but now I can't wear them.

This shoe looks nice and is good quality, however the heel is low and rubs the back of my heel. From the reviews it was recommended to purchase a full size down from normal size. I did the recommended size down. The shoe is heavy and falls from my heal when wearing and rubs my heal. It is not comfortable and I expect it will cause a blister.

They run big!! Annoying cause I am not returning them.. I don't love them as well as I imagined

These rubber moccasins run way too big. A size and a half too big.

SIZE DOWN!! I really, really wanted a pair of these but the 9 wide was swimming on my feet (I normally wear a 10 shoe). So I ordered an 8 wide and they are just too tight. A half size would be just right. I love these rain shoes as I don't want a boot, but something I can just slip on and go. Maybe it's MY feet ?? Will try ordering a 9 in mens' regular as I need a wider width.
