I wanted a pair of sneakers that I could also wear as boots, I thought these looked perfect for the weather, but the material is stiff and hard, and they come up just a little too high above my ankle.

The mid high boots were obstructing the walk making it difficult to walk. So I returned and got lower cut sneakers which are more comfortable.

Not a great fit. The boots were heavy and they were too loose at the ankle, no matter how hard I tried to tighten the laces.

Hoping I would love these boots but there is no give in the front. Very stiff and uncomfortable. Need to refigure where the tongue is. Digs in. Sadly sending them back.

I was hoping for a lightweight warm sneaker with traction for winter conditions, but this was more of a heavy weight boot. It wasn't much different from a normal hiking boot. I sent it back.

I just bought these - the 3rd pair I've had. However, this time I opted for lace ups since velcro fasteners on old pair had worn out after several yrs. Snow sneakers have been perfect for me as do a lot of walking on packed surfaces and have been great for driving as they're so much lighter than my Sorels. Sadly I've found that they're not as warm as my previous snow sneakers and not sure what to do - ?return and continue to wear old ones in spite of state of velcro.

Do not get the Velcro ones, the velcro doesn't stick after a while, making it hard to walk in them because they are too loose. My first pair were the hook and eye ones and they were great, not happy with the velcro version.

For the first time in my life I had to return a purchase to LL BBean as defective. The left boot had nylon stitching that dug into my leg regardless of how I tried to position the tongue of the boot. I had bought them to replace a pair I have loved for years but was very disappointed in how much the quality had gone down

Very disappointed in these boots. Have bought your snow sneakers in past years & these are not the same. To narrow, hard to get in & out of & I don't have wide feet.

These boots are nothing like the much-loved Beans' snow sneakers they were supposed to replace. My original pair was so sturdy and well made. They kept my feet warm and comfortable and dry for years of hikes and dog walks. Unfortunately, the new ones are much lower quality, with less arch support and insulation, and flimsy, tough-to-use webbing loops instead of strong grommets to hold the laces. Very disappointed. I returned them.

I returned them. The lacing system is awful if you have any arthritis or issues with your hands. In order to get a good fit, each time I put the boots on, I had to separately pull each segment up through the unwieldy webbing shoelace holders (where are the little metal eyelets?). It is really hard to do. If the boot itself were comfortable, that might be incentive to do this each time, but I found it really lacking in support especially along the sides and also kind of oddly shaped. I've had two pairs of the previous model and they were great. Guess I will have to look elsewhere for a good replacement. I have Raynauds so it was nice to have a good pair or winter boots to take walks in.

I bought these boots 3 years ago. They fit great, are wonderful in the snow, and are quite warm. I love them but for one thing: the laces have reflective material in them. This material cut through the cloth eyelets on the boots in so many places that I can't tie the boots anymore. Maybe change the cloth eyelets to a metal one???

I ordered two sizes - medium and wide. Wide was sent and was much too wide. The other pair that was sent to me was an entirely different brand of boot. I have to return both. Arrggh

I bought these snow sneaker in Freeport in September, but finally had enough snow to wear them today. They are very comfortable, BUT after shoveling snow and cleaning my car my feet were getting cold then I realized my feet were wet. I could see the sole was split a bit. by the time I get back in the house I saw the the sole on both shoes had split almost all the way around. Customer service was helpful and I am returning them.

I am beside myself in anger and grief. I've worn a pair of D width Snow Sneakers for years. Loved them so much I almost bought a second pair right away but decided to wait until these needed replacing. The new style of Snow Sneaker is harder to lace, has only minimal padding underfoot, less sneaker-feel, less arch support and the new so-called Wide width is no longer wide into the toe-box. The new toe-box narrows down, squeezing the toes together. It is basically now just another stiff boot. Altogether, it is NOT the snow sneaker it used to be - like so many of LLBean's products, it started great and has been cheapened. It should not have been given the name "sneaker" in its current version.

Thought this would be a sturdier boot but it was too pliable so I returned it.

I had bought a pair of LL Bean velcro closure snow sneakers, size 10W, about 14 years ago. I LOVED them, I honestly just wore them out. I needed a new pair, so I checked on-line. I found out LL Bean no longer carried velcro-closure snow sneakers in my size, so I got what I thought was the next best thing, snow sneakers with a lace up closure, still size 10W. They were so tight I could barely get my foot in with nylon trouser socks, so I knew heavier socks would never work and I had to return them as I knew I'd never be able to wear them. No other product that I could find was in my size that I could determine would be any different, so I couldn't get a replacement for the pair I wore out. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed.

Over the years I've tried a number of LLBean hiking boots/shoes in wide widths, only to have my hopes dashed. LLBean does not seem to know how/care to create a woman's boot/shoe with a roomy toebox. Many years ago I had some snow sneakers that were great, but they are now built on a different last - one that has a narrow toebox.
