After reading the reviews I sized up 1/2 size and ordered a wide instead of the standard size. Even the wide is tight. I hope with wearing the insulation will mold to my foot better. I do like like the look and the lace system, but really wish there was a little more room for thicker socks.

These snow sneakers are the warmest footwear I have found. Wish I tried them years ago.

Ample room for toes in this wider width, even with thicker socks. Boot also kept feet warm, and bottom grip was good in snowy weather.

At first these sneakers hurt my shin bone. I stopped lacing them up to the top eyelet and kept wearing them. As the tung has become more flexible, I can now tie them tight. They are very warm, water repellent and very comfortable. I will be purchasing more when these wear out. LOVE THEM!!

Very comfortable and lightweight. I purchased a very similar pair of these back in 2005 from LL Bean. I live in Northern Michigan and these were always my go to boots. My feet never got wet or cold and for me most of all lightweight. Hoping this new pair does the same.. time will tell.

Im glad of the size 9 that fits me good. The boots are comfortable with thick socks on.

I had bought a pair of LL Bean velcro closure snow sneakers, size 10W, about 14 years ago. I LOVED them, I honestly just wore them out. I needed a new pair, so I checked on-line. I found out LL Bean no longer carried velcro-closure snow sneakers in my size, so I got what I thought was the next best thing, snow sneakers with a lace up closure, still size 10W. They were so tight I could barely get my foot in with nylon trouser socks, so I knew heavier socks would never work and I had to return them as I knew I'd never be able to wear them. No other product that I could find was in my size that I could determine would be any different, so I couldn't get a replacement for the pair I wore out. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed.

Great sneaker for the winter. Size warning though! These run small. I had to return the first pair and get a half a size larger. The second pair fits perfectly. They keep my feet warm which is why I ordered them. Sole has a good grip. Only thing I would do to improve them is to add a bit more cushioning, but I am used to wearing HOKA One sneakers, which are super cushioned. I would definitely buy these snow sneakers again.

Love these sneakers. Went for a walk in the snow and my feet stayed dry and warm. They are so comfortable and not heavy and bulky like normal snow boots. Wear them to town when it is snowy as they are very attractive. So glad I bought these and highly recommend them.

The boots are great for hiking in areas with light snow. They keep your feet warm and dry. Their grip is better that other boots I have tried. I would highly recommend them.

This is the second pair of this type of boot that I have bought from LL Bean. The first pair I had for about 10 years finally were looking pretty sad, since I wore them everyday during the winter for my 3 mile walks, as well as in the colder fall weather and muddy spring walks. I will still be able to wear my "old" pair at different times when it's not too wet or too cold...they still have life left in them, and they are all broken in and still comfortable!!

I had previously bought, and loved a pair of llbean snow sneakers about four years ago. Bought on line, they fit perfectly. This time, I had to order three times to get the right fit. The sizing had changed and inner seams were bumpy and uncomfortable. There is a local store and I was able to try on different shoes but still had to order on line since the local only had the color I did not want. My original pair were high tops . Great for support and keeping out snow. This new model is much lower. Not as supportive. We havent had snow yet.

I bought a pair for my mother, who said she liked the fit, warmth, and grey/pink color. It was her first pair of LL Bean winter boots. She felt steady in the snow and slush I ordered a half size up with her same width so she can wear thicker socks. I tried them on and they were so comfortable that I ordered a pair for myself. We both agreed that the shoes were too warm in the mid 30s with thin socks, so we know they will work well for colder weather.

I returned these boots only because I had a pair stored away already and they are still in perfect condition. These boots are warm and comfortable.

I ordered these boots in a 9 and I received Squam Lake Slippers size 7. Havent reordered.

LLB recommended these in 8.5 for me based upon previous purchases. I do wear an 8.5 about 50% of the time, the other 50% I wear a 9. I chose to order both. First off, the grey color depicted on the website is NOT EVEN CLOSE. The shoe is a medium to dark grey. Website almost makes boots look silver or a very light grey. Major disappointment there. I understand websites color depiction can be off, but this is WAY off. Next, these definitely run small. I never wear above a 9, and the 9 was just a tad too small. I returned them because of the color and also, I do not think they will meet my needs in the long run. They did seem like they would be comfortable.

Purchased these to go to Lapland, Finland with. While they are comfortable they definitely are not warm in the cold. As long as I was walking around town they were fine but when I did any kind of activity in the cold/snow my feet froze.

I love my Snow Sneakers! I appreciate that they come in Wide. They are warm, have great tread for our mountain snow and ice, and fit perfectly. I will be buying a second pair.

I wore these boots everyday for a month while on vacation. I walked cobblestone streets, hiked slippery trails, walked up inclines and flat sidewalks, and even wore them for the airport and flights. And the boots still look brand new. I wear a size 10 regular but like a wider toe box. The 10 wide was perfect for my foot. The boots are extremely comfortable, even when sitting 14 hours on an airplane. I highly recommend them and beg to LL Bean to keep them in stock. I'll probably need to buy another pair as backup!

Over the years I've tried a number of LLBean hiking boots/shoes in wide widths, only to have my hopes dashed. LLBean does not seem to know how/care to create a woman's boot/shoe with a roomy toebox. Many years ago I had some snow sneakers that were great, but they are now built on a different last - one that has a narrow toebox.
