I am exchanging them for the Navy and in the B width because these that were delivered today are too wide for my feet. At this age I normally wear a C width in sneakers and shoes. These only come in B or D width. What happened to C? Being this style seems to run wide I'm hoping the B width works for me. As for the color the Burgundy was nice but I think I'd get more use out of the Navy. I'm hoping when the exchange comes, they'll fit fine and I won't have to return them.

These are nice shoes. They look to be good quality. I like the color. Unfortunately they were too wide. I don't have narrow feet, but there was a lot of slipping around room inside the shoes. I ended up giving them to a friend who said she has wide feet and can't ever find shoes to fit... which these did.

One of the few athletic shoes that actually fits true to size! Not having to to the buy-return-buy-return dance to get a shoe that fits was a great time saver, and that alone is worth at least 3 stars. I wear these shoes daily for 2-3 mile walks around the neighborhood and on walking trails. They are comfortable, supportive, sufficiently cushioned. I didn't give five stars because they are not very breathable (I wouldn't want to wear them all day long), they're not as light-weight as some other shoes, and they are, frankly, not very stylish. But they do what I bought them for very well indeed, and I would buy them again.

No frills, kind of plain looking, grayish but very comfortable, quiet walking shoes. The toe box is round and comfortable for the toes and has good support. Very good price, I think you would pay over $100 if these shoes looked more fancy. Nice with jeans or casual wear. I can't comment on durability since I haven't wore them that long.

I kept them for their comfort but was forced to put in new black shoelaces as the white ones looked hideous. Hope you change that. Dark blue laces would be even better than black.

I love the look of the sneaker and it's made very sturdy. The only complaint I have is it's a little bigger than I expected.

These are well made and give great support but are too wide. I would have returned them but am sheltered in due to the pandemic. I would have returned for 8.5 medium which I think would fit better.

First time ordering shoes online from LLBEAN since I prefer to try shoes on first and I live within close driving distance from store. And I'm not disappointed. I wear them at work sometimes and I'm on my feet and walking around for 8 hours, but after 6 to 7 hours my feet start to hurt a little, but to be honest I'm on concrete floors and I'm not young any more. The 4 stars are because one night it was raining and the shoe laces turned a little blue from the dye in the shoes.

Have walked at least 6 miles every day while wearing these shoes, for over a year on flat terrain. So, they are durable, but have found that thick socks are needed to avoid blisters. The seams inside this shoe will rub against areas of your foot, but is only noticeable if thin socks are worn. I replaced the sole with an athletic sole insert, which has worked better for me than the original sole. Other reviewers mention similar problems with the shoe, but with a few adjustments these shoes are comfortable and hold up well.

This is a good shoe. Not a whole lot of arch support if that's what you are looking for in a shoe, but all in all, for me, it is a good fit. Haven't had it long enough to comment on how it will hold up in the coming winter.

Like this shoe but I listened to the reviews and got a 1/2 size larger. Don't do it. They would fit much better if I had got the exact size I needed instead of a size up.

These are nice looking, although for me the insole and or sole was a bit stiff and wasn't going to work for all day wear.

These attractive shoes offer good support when walking, which is what I use them for. They are comfortable and appear to be well made. They are a bit heavier than I like, but not enough that I feel I need to return them.

These shoes were cute and a good price. However, the collar of the shoe came up too high on my ankles. Also, the shoes were not very well cushioned. I was disappointed and sent them back.

I bought a 9W, my usual size; pretty excited that LL Bean had a wide width. I'll keep them, but they are a bit snug in the width and length categories, needing my lightest socks. They could use a bit more arch support and taller toe box.

Ordered a wide, but it is still too tight in the ball area. I am returning to the store so I can try others.

Not very supportive as a walking shoe. Feels like a low end shoe. Also unattractive.

Was really looking forward to getting these shoes, but, as other reviewers have stated, the toe box is too short. I ordered my normal size 8.5 and could see right away that this shoe looked small. When I compare it to my other 8.5 size shoes, it's obviously shorter. The turned-up toe design probably contributes to this, but even if it were flat I think it would still be too short. Not sure I will try next size up. This should have been noted in the description.

I didn't like the texture combination and the color. It looked dirty.

I wanted to love these, and, if fact, loved the color, style, and fit except for one major thing the shoe was so high in the back that it rubbed my foot and was very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return them because of this. If they had been just a bit lower, I would have been very happy with these sneakers.

Not comfortable for me. Not much cushion inside. They look good, but don't feel so good, at least for me. I returned them

These sneakers have laces that need to be tied. They are not "slip on" as shown in the picture. I contacted LLBean, who directed me to companies that sell the laces that are shown in the picture. I was told I could return them if not happy. Not the usual service from this company.

I would've loved this so, but it was just too short, so I had to return it.

I can't adequately rate this shoe. They very stiff out of the box, but that probably resolves after some wear. I didn't get that far because the vamp seam came in direct contact with the bunion on my right foot. It did feel very big and clunky, despite being too tight over the bunion. This may be the shoe for you. It wasn't for me.
