Loved the colors . Heavier than I expected it to be, but I still like it.

This is a warm shirt to wear on cool spring days, as a substitute for a light jacket. I like the bright, cheerful colors. It's machine wash and dry, easy to care for. I noticed a slight shrinkage after it went through the dryer, but if you take it out while it's still slightly damp, then air dry, stretching any area that appears wrinkled, that seems to solve the problem.

love the shirt, perfect for spring in Illinois, did not like partial lining around entire bottom, will be a lint collector, most likely droop after time, looking for a way to tack it up

Absolutely love everything about this shirt with one exception. Material gorgeous, colors gorgeous, beautifully constructed.
However the facing and pocket lining is a light denim and totally incongruous . It doesn't match or even blend with the colors in the fabric. How did LL Bean decide to use such a random fabric? Lost a star with this decision. Looks like you ran out of complimentary fabric and grabbed what you had in shop.

Like the flannel just wished it was lined for more warmth.

I purchased this with a little hesitation as I have ordered other LL Bean shirts only to return them because they didn't fit. This just fits with a little room to spare. It is a heavier fabric than I expected. The side pockets on the seam are a "no value add" as far as I am concerned. I would never use them as they are not easy to get into and just add bulk to the overall shirt. The breast pockets seem a bit over-the-top as well. I do love the color and the feel of the fabric. I think with time and wear, this could become my go-to for fall/spring chilly weather. I purchased the bright yellow and I really do like how it looks. I say it's true to size but I would like it to be a bit more roomy and maybe if they added a bit of stretch to the fabric it would be a home run!!

This shirt is beautifully made with attractive heavy fabric. Great to look at but not great on a short, pudgy body. Sorry to return it.

Overall nice shirt. Fit as expected, look great, comfortable, quality lovely. Fabric a weave and with my more rugged lifestyle with a large dog and cat, I felt it would pull easily so reluctantly returned.

I'm always looking for the perfect "shacket," and this one is almost there. The good: fabric and style. And OMG side pockets! Made in India is a plus.
The bad: fit is trimmer than I'd like (so i ordered an XL and that's just a little too big, but I'm keeping both sizes since there's no large-and-a-half), and the side-pockets, while great, are set a little too far back to be comfortable, but better than no pockets. Would prefer snap-buttons also.
With a few tweaks and some more color choices, this would be a home-run!

The petite size I ordered was too small so I returned it. They didn't have my size so that was that. However, I also didn't like the fabric. It was not very flexible.

Love the color and fit. Buttons are an issue as mentioned by others. The shirt is very heavy and I like the on seam pockets. However if its unbuttoned the excess material is off putting.

I bought this shirt and love the material and color. The buttonholes are small and difficult if not impossible to button / unbutton. I am considering returning it as much as I hate to. Where's the quality control?

I was expecting a soft flannel-like shirt. As soon as I saw the heavy texture of the material, the bulky buttons and hefty sewing of the pockets - I didn't even need to open the plastic bag. I returned it. I didn't try it on so can't judge the sizing.

I debated about keeping this but decided I liked the color enough and the weight of it for Florida cooler temps. What I didn't like is it seems stiff and not the cozy material I would have thought. It is not a flattering look as it looms out at the hips .Also, it is not the length I had hoped. I thought about going up a size but I don't think that would add to my liking it any more. It is not one of L.L. Bean's best products and I have been a very active consumer for over two decades. The joke in the family is that if it is from L.L. Bean it is a gift from me!

This is an oversized shirt, that I guess could be used instead of a light jacked. I just use it as an extra layer on cold evenings

I get lots of compliments on this shirt. However, the VERY large inside pockets sagged and made the bottom half of the shirt poof out. Ironing did not help. I finally cut out the inside pockets and sewed the outside pocket flaps shut. That took car of the problem, but the interior pockets should just be omitted in the design. They are too big to be useful and just create problems.

The best thing about this shirt is that it has pockets, which is handy. That being said, the feel of the fabric is unappealing, as it's somewhat coarse. Also, this shirt is unlined, and thus is not as warm as you'd think. At least it's a roomy fit, as one will need layers. I kept it, as it's better than nothing.

Beautiful colors, but too tight across shoulders, so had to return. Also minuscule buttons are infuriatingly difficult for arthritic thumbs to manipulate.

I love the colors, but the fit is unflattering. I wanted to wear it as a shirt, but it is cut too tight and because of the pockets it bulges. I have large hips and it fits tightly. It fits fine across the shoulders and the chest, but not the waist or hips. I generally wear petite medium in blouses and they fit fine.

I love the color! But it was a heavier shirt than I thought it would be.

The shirt in dark navy looks great on the picture. Was very disappointed when I opened the package with: colors much darker and loosely woven fabric that are hard to be noticeable in the pictures. It is well-made and authentic looking, but just isn't for me.

I returned this shirt as the pockets were very bulky and the solid blue fabric just looked worn and tired.

Nice shirt but I dislike the long arm/short length style on any shirts; I have a long waist and it isn't flattering.

These are beautiful shirts. I bought two but the buttonholes are way too small. I had to cut them and resew them to a size large enough to allow my 77_year-old fingers to open them.
