I ordered the rose color and it is even nicer than the photo. I must share though that the button holes don't seem to have been designed with the buttons in mind. I timed myself just getting the top button through the hole tonight after some laundry and it came in at 36 seconds. This is not a shirt I can wear buttoned because I would feel trapped in it just trying to get it off. Still, its a nice outer layer.

Love the quality and heavyweight fabric of this shirt. However I find it to be about an inch too short and also the sleeves are too short (though most LLBean long sleeve button ups always are in my opinion). Also I found that the buttons are too big for the button holes so that it is difficult to button/unbutton

The color is very nice and I get compliments on it however, the material is not as nice as I expected. It just looks like it should be soft but it's not. It's rough and not very flexible.

This overshirt is a great addition to my fall wardrobe. I wear it over my shells, short sleeve tops and long sleeve ones. No matter the temperature in the morning it is perfect for my daily routine.

Nice heavy weight shirt to wear when a jacket is to warm. Handy for many outings. Oversized enough to wear as a light jacket or layered. Would be nice to a better selection of colors.

The fit is good. I bought a L and wear it over a turtleneck and shirt. I expected the fabric to be softer is my only complaint. Purchased on sale..

Similar to one I've already own. This sounded like the fabric weight might be a bit lighter, but it wasn't and therefore don't need it. The color was Dark Indigo, but I much prefer the Black Watch. Size was Petite Medium which was fine.

Heavy overshirt. Probably will be warm for in between seasons. Got the Sterling Blue and it is very classy. Got it in a small as it is relaxed fit. Shoulders are ok in a small as I have a hard time with shoulder width in small. The buttons were very hard to get unbuttoned when I first got it, but better with time. Haven't worn but a few times as it is hot where I live. Used it in the mountains and it was great. Four stars for the small button holes.

Love the feel and very roomy so DON'T order up a size. Nice cozy texture and good medium weight for cool fall days in Maine! I would say it's true to size but roomy in that size so you can have a long sleeve underneath and not feel restricted.

I misunderstood what I was ordering when I purchased this item. I thought I was getting just a routine flannel shirt. What arrived was a much thicker material with big inner pockets and outer pockets. It is more of a shirt jacket, and feels like a great item to wear outdoors in the fall, on the farm, or going hunting. It also ran big. I usually wear a Medium and this felt pretty baggy on me. Good quality item but it wasn't what I was looking for, so I returned it.

I would have given this 5 stars if I didn't have to wait so long for it to go on sale. This was on my wish list for several months. It didn't go down much, but I finally bought it. I'm very pleased with everything except the price.

This knit heavyweight shirt is good, but as other people said, it does not break the wind. If it was lined it would be a great shirt. So it can be warm and cold at the same time, hence the 4 stars. The sleeves are a good length for me.

Washes well. Feels solid, like heavier flannel, when held; but its weave is more open, so it lacks some of the wind-resistance and body heat retention.

Comfortable, durable, fades somewhat after several washings, oddly shaped fit at hips, but overlooked due to comfort and all around great material. Great to wear buttoned up as a shirt or open as a jacket. I am 5'3, 155#, the large is loose but good for me, and not too big in the shoulders. It shrinks a little after washing, which was again good for me.

i am 5'7" and 133 lb. i wear small in LLBEAN but sometimes sleeves are too short and this is the case with this shirt. I need another 1/2 inch at least on the sleeves. BUMMER. I love the weight and woven nature of the material. Spring/summer shaket in my opinion. COMFY material. why isn't a longer sleeve optional?

Love the pale blue shade over t-shirts for the warmer spring weather. Washed well and didn't shrink (I hang to dry). Did snag in the back somewhere along the way, but nothing too bad and was easy to fix. A tad large; I'd size down if you are between sizes. Great with leggings!

Shirt was well made but the colors on the site seemed more vibrant than the shirt itself. Also the shirt was more relaxed than I expected. I plan on returning it.

Very nice, good quality, right weight of the purpose. Colors more muddy than shown, did not work for me. Returned.

I got the green/pink/yellow plaid in a 2X. The colors are unusual and pretty. The cotton fabric as thick and soft. The fit is relaxed, the collar and pocket flaps are spare and neat and the pockets are generous. The only problem for me came after washing and drying. The front hem curled up and the pockets sagged down below the shirt hem. Either the pocket fabric or the shirt fabric shrank, I guess. I have put in a few stitches to tack down the tops of the pockets to the shirt to keep them from showing; I hope that takes care of it.

It's ok, don't love it, just like it a lot. Material isn't what I thought, not really soft or flannel. Size is good. Pockets are on side seems and just feel not natural to me.

Good quality and has some weight to it. Minus one star because it doesn't run smaller than petite XS. It would fit better if it was petite XXS.

It's warm and fits well. Very informal. Kinda ugly. But good for walking and working around the yard.

Nice shirt, I wear it as an over shirt while at home (thermostats set lower). Buttonholes are too small - Hurt my fingers to button the shirt. On closer inspection, it was because not enough of the thick material was cut out of the buttonhole (double thick at the placket). Carefull snips w/ my sewing scissors added 1 or 2 mm to the buttonholes and made it easier to button. The slash pockets are HUGE and make the bottom hem curl after the shirt is washed. Definitely large enough for even the largest cell phone, keys, tissues - probably even your lunch! But if you stuff the pockets and manage to button the shirt, it would look like you have a "baby-bump"

I have several different brands of flannel shirts. I especially love the feel and color (navy blue plaid) it is warm with good arm and body length on my tall-is frame. My only objection is not having a breast pocket... thus a 4 star.

First of all, it fits me over my T shirt and other top. However, the sleeve is slightly longerI have to turn each cuff backward. I plan to wear it when the weather becomes cool or cold. I like the color dusty rose as it goes with my complexion.
