The Signature Textured Flannel is more a heavy gauze, the shirt is extremely short, narrow across the chest and the arm openings too small, very tight under the arms. Odd fit and odder fabric, not as described at all.

This shirt looks "so good on paper" I bought it despite the high price. But the material is thin, shirt runs a little snug, and the material snagged the first time I wore it!
This is the first purchase I had to return for quality in many years buying from llbean.

I love LL Bean. I have lots of LL Bean shirts. I know what size I wear in LL Bean shirts. And this was significantly smaller and shorter. I ordered two in different colors and they both fit the same way, so it's the style, not just one weird shirt.
I can't even really just tell you to size up, because they're weirdly wider than other LL Bean shirts, while still being shorter.
I guess if you find other LL Bean shirts too long and too narrow, though, you'll love this!

When I washed this shirt, according to directions, and dried it there were multiple "pills" left on the shirt. The dryer sheet was covered with debris and stuck to the inside of my dryer. I washed it again, and there were still many "pills." I had to pick them off by hand and with a lint pic. Colors are lovely, but the fabric is not as expected. Not good quality for $70.

Short all around - sleeves and body way too short in the size I usually wear. Returned.

Poorly made. Sleeves were not sewn properly into to the armholes, forming puffy shoulders.

Another disappointing purchase from LLBean. I live in Maine and own lots of flannel shirts. This shirt is made of strange flannel with a herringbone weave to it and it also has a very odd and unflattering fit. Assuming that it would shrink like most LLBean shirts do and not liking the short boxy fit, I returned it.

It's great products except too small.
I'm disappointed.

I LOVED this shirt when I bought it, it was super comfortable and the fit as perfect. Then I washed it and dried in (in the dryer, as per directions), and it shrunk at least a full size. My sleeves feel about three inches shorter. Very disappointed.

I have tried to like this purchase but keep comparing it to my other 3 LLBean flannel shirts and it just doesn't favorably compare. I thought "Signature Heritage Textured Flannel" would be even better than what I already own. The weave is loose and the shirt does not retain its shape after laundering. It is not soft to the touch. It looks sloppy.

This is NOT flannel as it is advertised! I have gotten many compliments on my beautiful LINEN shirt!

The quality of workmanship is excellent, but the material does not feel like flannel. It is not soft, but scratchy and rough to the touch. I would return it, but have misplaced my mailing label and return documents.

Fabric flimsy and thin. Not comfortable in any way. Felt very sloppy on.

Ordered this online. Returned it without opening it. The colors were really ugly (I ordered the blue/orange one) and the material looked cheap

I followed the washing instructions but the shirt shrunk by more than an inch. The length and sleeves are now too short. Advise going a size up to allow for shrinkage.

I'm extremely disappointed in this shirt. I have three other ll bean flannel shirts and was expecting similar quality and weight. I don't see how this fairly open weave fabric can be considered flannel. It's light, flimsy, looks rumpled and is short.

We ordered the beige plaid but the colors are actually so muted, not at all the nice fall colors in the picture so we are returning.

This shirt, like so many LLB women's shirts, runs small and short. I'd love to size up to a Tall or Plus size, but there are none! Given that the fabric shrinks, this is a fail for so many women.
