Shirt is very soft and comfortable, does tend to wrinkle more than other flannels .

Nice shirt but not as soft to the touch as I had hoped it would be. Fit is good, length good. Color is true to the picture.

Love the feel of the shirt, but be aware that it does shrink about one inch in length and arms. Still happy with it though.

This shirt is of great quality and color is nice but the shape is not feminine, it's a very square/straight cut.

Nice flannel shirt that's a tiny bit scratchy, but I have very sensitive skin. This shirt is quite boxy and tends to run a little small at first. After several wearings it has become more roomy. Haven't washed it yet but again I will probably wash in cool water and air dry. I weigh 186 and am 5'6" tall. I ordered a size large. The neutral colors are very nice and not as dark as the photo in the ad. I'm not sure I would purchase another because so many of these shirts tend to shrink when washed. Right now, the length comes down to my hip

I had hoped to use this for layering but it shrank so much in wash and dryer that I cannot wear a shirt underneath it. It is a "thicker" warm flannel.

The colors, plaid pattern, and comfortable material are all excellent and attracted me to this shirt. However, the cut is small in the torso portion. I wear size medium in all tops but the medium in this shirt was short and cut tighter in the torso/bodice area. However, the sleeve length and shoulders fit perfectly for the medium size. I exchanged it for a large, which is perfect in the torso but the sleeves are too long and the shoulders a little too big. However, I can live with that to have the rest of the shirt be less tight and longer. This allows me to wear an LLBean turtleneck under it on cold winter days.

This is a completely lovely shirt for someone who is petite like me! The fabric is warm and very soft. I've even bought a second one now. However, if you are not petite or at least on the small side, I think you would find the sleeves and torso way too short on this shirt. Although I love completely that it fits me, I've given it only four stars because I don't want anyone who expects it to fit like a regular size to be disappointed. If you are petite though, go for it! It's a beautiful shirt. Suggestion for LLBean: consider changing the listing to Petite instead of Regular.

Lucky enough to get the cream color as it was a return. The medium was tight across the bust so I bought a cream layering top to wear under it and it looks great. I would recommend doing this as it makes the shirt look less boxy.

The shirt color is a lot duller/darker than shown in the picture. It is soft and warm, very comfortable.

I enjoyed the weight and texture of this item it is reminiscent if linen and nice enough to wear to work. However it is not a flattering cut, being rather boxy.

I love this shirt. It's not working on shirts. Length is small . I can't hold buttons around my chest. But it's beautiful and very soft . I'm going to wear as a short length jacket .

I wanted to love this shirt. The fabric was high quality. I loved the colors, and the buttons. Unfortunately it seems like LLBean is not making clothes that fit long torsos. Not just that but it seemed abnormally short. I do have a long torso but if I lifted my arms it went why above the navel. It also looked like it was more square than rectangle. Every shirt should be a bit rectangular. I was super bummed and returned it.

This is the second Signature Heritage flannel shirt I've bought and am debating about returning. For one, this flannel isn't nearly as nice and thick as Bean's Scotch Plaid flannels, of which I have several. These are cut skimpier (slightly fitted) so I have to size up to an XL for my 5'3 165lb frame, and there is no petite option. This fabric is a much thinner flannel and loses its shape completely after a few washings, looking much like a flour sack. The surface doesn't stay smooth after washing like the Scotch plaid shirts do, it scrubs up but so far hasn't pilled. These colors are much brighter than they appear on the website, which is partly why I sent back the last one (Freeport Cream). The one I have now looked subdued online, but is actually so bright it's almost clownish looking (Bright Navy). I'll probably keep it since I have several bright t-shirts that go well with it, but I'm not ordering another of these. I'll stick to the much better relaxed-fit Scotch plaids.

I don't regard this as a flannel shirt. It's a soft twill shirt but nothing like a brushed soft flannel, imo. I purchased Carbon navy. While the fabric is not lightweight or sheer, the weave doesn't have a tight look. Hard to describe. I was expecting a "higher end" flannel but it has a different look and feel than I expected. I don't feel LLBean should describe this as a flannel shirt. It's a bit on the boxy side too. Still debating whether to keep it.

Sizing was fine, colors were nice but I definitely wouldn't call this 'flannel'. It's more of an open weave cotton. Not what I was expecting from the description and seems expensive for what it is.

I bought this to use for the spring and summer. It's very comfortable and I have worn it and washed it about 3 times. I just noticed that the seam that attaches the cuff to the seam is coming unsewn. Luckily I am pretty handy with a sewing machine. But for such a nice shirt I am a bit disappointed.

The actual color of the shirt is different than the online picture (it's more brownish instead of the cranberry/maroon I was expecting) and I think that $79 is too pricey for the shirt I got. But we were experiencing a cold snap when I ordered AND my sister gave me a gift card for Xmas so what the heck, I wasn't spending my money.

I was excited to get this flannel shirt, but terribly disappointed when I tried it on and the sleeves were too tight around my upper arm making it uncomfortable and impossible for layering. I returned it.

I am usually a petite small, but as with a lot of LL Bean items, this shirt shrank a lot. I thought ordering a regular small would allow for shrinkage, but it ended up too small after washing. I ended up ordering a regular medium, and after washing and shrinking, it fit fine. Wish LL Bean would make items that don't shrink.
