Thought the fabric would be heavier. Will have to wear a tee shirt under it.A bit large but can be shrunk in dryer.I really like the lighter colors.

I didn't care for the texture of the fabric. My other two shirts I purchased were perfect.

I'm in-between sizes 10 and 12 and bought a size large. I didn't love it when I examined it and when I tried it on. It wasn't what I was looking for. However, I will say, depending on preference for fit, it would be easy to size down for a little more closer fit, or even size up for a baggier, chill fit. It's really not a bad top, just wasn't what i was looking for.

Nothing special...I was hoping for a high quality, heritage flannel. This is a thin shirt.

I wanted to like this flannel shirt. The fit was good. The plaid had nice colors and didn't look like a borrowed man's flannel shirt. The plaids were even matched at the side seams. The big negative was the fabric. While it was soft, the weave was so loose that the shirt lost its shape and looked baggy by the end of the day. The fabric was "cheap" and not up to Bean quality standards, especially for the Signature line of clothing. I'm still looking for a quality flannel shirt with some style.

The fabric was thin not what I expected. It runs large. I ordered XL and it was too big. The fabric was the reason I returned it

The correct color is not apparent on the website. The shirt is much more of a lime-blue, not a sky blue as it looks on the website.

As others have mentioned, the shoulders poke out oddly, though the rest of the shirt fits fine. It seems to be more of an issue with the plaid size large than with the gray XL that I own. Thie plaid one will be a shirt that gets worn for messy work, not when I want to look nicer. I like the soft feel and drape of the fabric, but it seems to be pulling a bit more than most flannels.

Size up. Fabric shrinks. Nice color combo. Medium weight.

Nice subtle color. Fabric disappointed me - not tightly woven so more drapey than usual flannels. I don't even think it is a flannel. Good fit. Right length for me. Will use as an over shirt. Quality not up to LLBean usual.

The arm of the shirt was sewn into the body, so the shoulder sticks out. Though I bought my usual size M, the shirt is a bit too wide overall. It was on the sales rack, so perhaps it was an anomaly. I like the material, the pattern, and the colors.

The shirt is beautiful, but does not fit as the regular flannel shirts I love.

Really like the color & fit, but it shrank quite a bit when washed (cold water, med dryer setting). That took the shirt from 'great' to 'ok'. Now it only fits comfortably on my 'skinny days'.

Great shirt, BUT it did not fit. Torso and sleeves too short.

Not crazy about it. Top of sleeves puckered like hanger bumps. I think I was sent someone's returns as it was balled up unwrapped in the green package.

I ordered the cream color because I have enough dark flannel shirts. The fabric of the shirt felt thin and not soft. The shirt is not fitted, very loose and unflattering

I would keep this lovely flannel shirt but it is cut boxy and has almost bo shape. Also, the arms are a little short and might shrink too much. How about putting a little shape in some of these shirts?

This is a nice overshirt, but it is not really flannel. The pattern suits a flannel shirt, but I would call the fabric a heavy gauze.

I ordered two tops around Christmas, this was one of them. I've owned them less than a month, washed and worn twice following all instructions and both look like old rags. This one in particular is such a beautiful pattern. After washing, the fabric is puckered badly all down the front where the buttons are and at the hems. Looks absolutely terrible. And the cost!! It appears high quality out of package but beware, it's just the finishing. So very disappointed.

I ordered this shirt in two different colors (navy and red windowpane) and loved them, but the sleeves near the button plackets on the forearms ended up fraying and tearing after less than two months. I'm not sure if it's because of the gauzy fabric or if there was an issue with the integrity of the stitching, but it was disappointing. I had only washed them a few times and hang dried.

I specifically bought this flannel because it's described as "slightly fitted." I cannot find a hint of shape in it. It's incredibly boxy. A great choice if you want to hide any evidence of the shape of your torso, or the fact that you have a torso, but it's a return for me.

I bought this shirt to replace my favorite flannel shirt. The previous one was LL Bean item #298090. That item number is gone. The old one had bust darts on the side to give a more flattering fitted hang, it had 1 more button, and it had a tab down the front for the button holes, giving a more finished look. The quality is still good enough, I'll keep the shirt, but it is disappointing to see LL Bean take these little quality cuts in their products. I'd recommend this shirt to a friend as an "okay" shirt, but nothing special. I do like the color and texture, though.

I bought two shirts, one for myself and one for my daughter. I normally buy a 1x but hoped the XL would work as LLBean doesn't offer this shirt in Plus sizes. The XL was too snug to be comfortable when fully buttoned. I bought a Large for my daughter (her usual LLBean size). Her shirt was tight across the shoulders and in the armpit/sleeve connection; the overall length was good. Other reviewers said the fabric shrinks when washed, and given that information my daughter will keep the XL and we've returned the L. I love the Dark Pine plaid so much that I would buy two shirts if only they were made in plus sizes. This shirt is not offered at all in Plus sizes - so frustrating!

This shirt is not a "true" flannel. The weight is more like a heavy linen. I did keep it as I used bean bucks to purchase it. I wear it under a winter sweater for an extra layer.
