I've only worn it twice but already know it was a good purchase. The fit is comfortable and love the zip from the bottom feature with this length. I was stopped by another shopper complimenting my coat asking where they could buy it. My only possible negative is the fleece lining shed onto my black pants. Maybe washing will correct that.

The coat is lightweight but quite warm. I wear it over a mockneck shirt and one of LL Beans flannel button down shirts. I especially like the elastic cuffs as I can cover my glove tops which really keeps the cold out. I am 5'2" and 115 lbs but I purchased a regular medium for the longer leg coverage and better fit around the middle. A petite medium was to tight around the middle and a large was too big. The only thing that I don't like about your coats, shirts etc, is the "slightly fitted" aspect ... it is not comfortable for older women who no longer have the narrow waist. I wish you would go back to the straight fit. I still have a hooded scotch plaid fall coat that I purchased about 15yrs ago, when I was a little slimmer, and the fit is still good. I love that coat and wish you would bring it back as the one I have is beginning to wear out.

I bought this jacket for my mom because I loved mine so much. The inside is cozy but not too thick. The jacket is light and very warm!

I am so happy I bought this coat. I am 5'4" and weight 150 pounds and ordered a large which fits perfectly. I have enough room to wear a medium weight sweater under if I want another layer of warmth. The silver moon is a beautiful soft color and light enough to wear at night to be seen in the dark. I know I am going to enjoy wearing it this winter.

Love this coat! It's perfect for our current fall/winter weather in CT. When the temperature dips and it's blustery cold I have a heavier and warmer jacket. But this is nice lightweight and warm for the thirties and forties that we've been having more of (unfortunately). Not normally a hood kinda gal but it's handy for the occasional rain or wind.

Stylish and warm. It's not too heavy in weight, it's light so I don't feel like the Michelin man when I'm wearing it. The fit is perfect. Great quality as well.

This coat is stylish and practical. A Bean classic

This coat is all I was hoping for. I've looked at it so many times and finally purchased one in beautiful basic black; so glad I did. Most of my other LLB coats are size M, but a few are size L so I tried both here. The L was too big which wasn't surprising.The M is snugger but fits beautifully; I can't layer too heavily but that wasn't my intent so that's ok. I love the fleece lining for added coziness and warmth. The only thing missing is an interior chest/phone pocket but the hand pockets are big enough to make up for it (sort of). The length is great - I'm 5'10", 165 lbs for reference. I've only worn it in temps down to around 35 and I'm guessing that might be it's low limit.

Really warm coat. I live in northern Michigan and wanted a replacement coat that was light and warm for an upcoming ski trip. Love the fit and the light weight of the coat. I was worried the lining might stick to certain shirt fabrics but my arms slide right into the sleeves no matter the fabric.

Love the color.. perfect weight for our trip to the Christmas markets.

Man, we LOVE this new fleece lined jacket! We just moved from California to Texas and are all set now for real cold weather!

I've received so many compliments on this coat (I purchased the Silver Moon color) from strangers when I am out running errands around town or shopping. It's such a comfortable coat, lightweight but warm with a soft fleece lining. Well designed coat, because the sleeves don't have fleece so it is easy to slip on and off and comfortable, not bulky for driving around in Michigan winters.

This coat is warm without being bulky. Great for driving and shopping.
