disappointed that the zipper doesn't work well and was disappointed that there wasn't a row of snaps to use if zipper does not work

This jacket is lightweight but warm -- very attractive with 2-way zipper. But I'm sorry that I have to return it. Petite medium almost always fits well. I'm 5' 120 lbs. This coat is just too tight. There's no room for a sweater; it was even tight when I tried it on with just a fleece vest.
Disappointed,

Hard to pick a star rating for this. I give it 4 stars for the look, but 2 stars for the fit compromised at 3. This jacket is really cute and very flattering, it's very lightweight, but feels quality, and would be a great, fashionable everyday jacket. I wish this jacket had at least one inside pocket, but the front zipper side pockets are really deep and nice so I felt like that would be fine. The arms on the large were pretty long, but I felt the arms were too tight in the medium My issue with this jacket isn't how it looked, but how it fit on my body type. I tried a M and L (both reg) but am in between sizes and couldn't make it work. I am long waisted, have narrow shoulders, but am wider in the hips and butt so bodysuits, rompers, and one piece swimsuits typically don't work for me. I was hoping this jacket would be different, but the large was too big in my shoulders and chest, and the medium was too small in my hips and butt.. For reference, I typically wear mediums and occasionally smalls in T-shirts and in pants I wear mediums mostly or jeans in size 8 or 10 (29-30) I have a long waist but rarely have to get things in "tall" unless it's a mini dress. Again, this jacket is super cute and ended up gifting it to my mom who absolutely loves it!! Hope this helps :)

The online color of this item did not match the color when I received it. The blue I ordered in person is a blue-gray and a dusky color. It's too depressing a color for a winter coat for me.
The coat itself looks warm enough for winter weather in CT except in the frigid 0 degree weather. But that's only my thoughts.
I bought a large because I wanted to be able to wear a thick sweater under it in very cold weather.
I'm 5'1"- approx 120-125lbs and the large was big-ish but it's what I wanted.
Sadly RETURNED due to color.

I find that the fleece lining is hard to manage. It catches on whatever I have on and does not hang well. I found it too bulky, and when zipped the coat was somewhat snug around the hips. An LLbean large always fits me well, but not this one.

I love the coat, but the zipper is already broken. It is a great fit, color and weight of coat and I would give it a 5 if it had a good zipper

This is a beautiful coat and fit well, really nice color. Unfortunately, it wasn't warm enough for what I needed and then the zipper got stuck, so I returned it. Of all the reviews I read, only one other had trouble with the zipper. Hopefully that was just a glitsch and others don't have the same problem. I can't remember ever having a problem with LLBean items before this.

Nice coat, but very clingy. Impossible to get static out. Quit annoying.

The style is great but the cost does not justify that it's primaloft, not down

Returned. Just was Not Warm Enough for the winter. Looks like a lightweight bed comforter. The seams are nice & has a nice shape. I was going to keep it but, much too lightweight for winter it's more for early fall or springtime. The fleece is very thin & has no warmth. The Primaloft in this coat is not warm at all.

Love primaloft! I love how lightweight and NOT bulky this material is. Jacket is nice but a little too fitted. Wanted more room for layering. Also wish there was more information about warmth level. This was a little too light weight for me.

Fit is nice but lighter weight than expected. I wore it when the temp was mid forties and I was still cold even though I had a sweater and turtleneck underneath it. Feels somewhat flimsy.

No inside pocket
No sleeve cuffs that keep out cold and wind.
I'm going to return it.

Loved the look and craftmanship of this coat; it seemed well-made and was very flattering. However, it is simply not warm enough for the price in my opinion (I expect more expensive coats to be warmer). This coat with down-filling would be a must buy. But, for someone who lives in the Northeast, I'm not willing to pay this much for a polyester filled coat. I would happily purchase this item for about half the price.

I returned this coat because I did not think it was as warm as I wanted. I was hoping it would be like a longer style of the Women's PrimaLoft Packaway Jacket (of which I have two) with "NASA aerogel" and "PrimaLoft Gold" insulation. The PrimaLoft Jackets I have really enjoyed have been surprisingly warm, even on cold days. I just wish you made a longer version too. I am sure the Fleece-Lined Coat is a good quality, but it did not seem that it would be as warm as the jackets I love that have the high-tech insulation. Other folks may give the Fleece-Lined Coat 5 stars, but, sorry, it just wasn't going to be as warm as I hoped.

This coat is filled with reasons to be warm but I find myself ignoring it on cold days and opting for coats that keep me warmer. When it is warm enough for this I don't know if I'll want to wear something with a furry lining like this. When I put my phone in the pocket you can read it through. I love LL Bean but this seems different than others I've owned

I was under the impression that this coat was warmer than it actually is. Not meant for cold New England winters. Not worth the cost.

I bought this as my fall-winter dog-walking coat. It's good enough, but could be better. I am keeping it because:
- style: I wanted attached hood, two-way zipper, front zip exterior pockets, length almost to my knees, warmer but not enough to make me overheat
- color: I chose the silver & I like it - I am more visible in the dark
- zipper: two-way, makes it easier to adjust for also wearing when sitting down in and out of the car
But, it could be much better -- it needs to be:
- LARGER all over - I wear medium/large and this is wearable, but I could not add layers and still get the zipper up nor get my arms in the sleeves
- WARMER: it is not as warm as I expected - I live in northern Virginia, and our winters are fairly mild, but still, I would need a warmer coat if our temps dropped below freezing
- BIGGER, STRONGER TWO-WAY ZIPPER: seriously -- give me a bigger one with a bigger grip, and a zipper pull on the bottom part, too
- MORE POCKETS: ditto to the review who complained about the lack of pockets -- I call for POCKET EQUITY with the men's coats -- give us interior pockets for phone, keys, etc

It looks nice on, feels comfy, furry fleece inside, not bulky but warm middle weight jacket, but I had to knock down the stars for the bizarre hand pockets that are soooo low that they are uncomfy to use. The waist part of the jacket is a bit awkward as well. I didn't try it on, I used reward dollars to impulsively purchase this so it was well worth it for me. I wouldn't have spend $200+ without trying it on. Fantastic quality. I'm 5'3 133 I got black reg medium so I could layer. Try it on.

Nice light weight jacket if you are looking for a straight line jacket. Being pear shaped, this did not work for me.

I had a petite large coat which I had lost a lot of weight and was too large so I ordered a petite medium . The coat was very pretty and fit well everywhere, except across my stomach. It would not come together across my stomach. I was very disappointed. I hadn't lost enough in that area or else,The coat was just too small in that area. I live about 100 miles south of Chicago. I would recommend the coat just measure carefully!

While this jacket is very warm yet light weight, it is snug around the lower hip area. I even went up a size! I will wear it on really cold days though. I would not buy again.

I've had this coat for 2 years now and have worn it as my primary winter coat. It honestly does not look super good, some of the threads of the quilting came loose and the inside flannel looks kinda dingy. It is lightweight and pretty warm until it hits the 20s (Fahrenheit), in my experience. Definitely still works as intended, but anyone who wants something that stays sharp looking through the years may want to think twice for this price.

I bought this jacket based on reviews stating it was warm, along with the product listing saying the jacket fell under the "Warmer" category. I had tried the jacket on in store prior to ordering, so I knew which size to get to wear a sweater under. The jacket is fine in 40 - 50 degrees, but not warm at any temperature below that. You can feel the wind through the sleeves since they are unlined. I am returning the jacket and will look some something warmer for colder weather.
