Nice coat but the fleece lining makes the outside of the coat bunch up if you sit on it for a while, like on a long drive.

Wore first time on windy 40 deg. F. temp. It was fairly warm but not as warm as I expected given the temp that day. Love the fit of the collar and hood and look of the coat. Will need to wear a warm garment under it in below freezing temps. so will be my main everyday go to winter coat. Pull up zipper not working as smoothly as hoped.

I think the price is a little high as the fleece looks worn already and I've only had the coat a week or 2, but pretty warm. I love the blue color.

Great length. Comfortable. I think the term "fleece" is misleading. The fleece lining is much thinner than I expected. Wish it had fleece in the sleeves for more warmth. Overall satisfied.

My husband has the LL Bean primaloft jacket, so we're familiar with the material and how warm and light it is. I decided on the longer coat with hood, and it's a nice color. The only downside is the sizing. I ordered medium, and am not a big person, but I feel it runs small. It fits OK if I have something light on underneath, but even with a not too thick sweater added it feels tight in the chest. The sleeves and shoulders fit well, so I'd hesitate to get a large as it would likely be too big.

Love the fit and length. It's very warm, looking forward to those cold days! It weighs a little more than I thought it would, but overall very pleased with it

I am 5'4" 135lbs. I ordered the medium but found it to be too fitted. I reordered a petite large and now I have room for a warmer layer. The fleece adds a nice warmth and living in the lakes region of NH it is perfect. The shell I wish was a bit sturdier. I am afraid it will tear. Overall I am happy.

I'm 5'6" 115 and find the Medium a bit tight in the chest and arms when worn with a sweater or sweatshirt or any other significant layer. Other than that, the warmth, length, color, thickness, and construction are impeccable. I definitely recommend.

This fits perfect to size (i bought a small and am 5'2" 115 lbs) and is super comfortable, but do not plan to have anything beyond your keys in your pocket. I found that with my phone in my pocket, the coat hem begins to pull up at an odd angle.

The coat is light weight, great for hopping out of the car and into stores. I am 5'4" 105 lbs size sm falls a little above my knees. I bought the teal color. Hard to find in this length and weight. Just what Incas looking for. I would have preferred a detachable hood, but I am satisfied with all other features.

I liked the coatit was attractive and cozy, but the cut was too small in the hips and I felt like a sausage when zipped up. I returned it.

I love everything about this coat EXCEPT the cuffs. I can't tuck my gloves inside of them and my wrists get cold. I bought an XS, and it fits well. I'm 5'6", 90# It's been warm enough for some pretty chilly Minnesota Fall days, and I hate to be cold. I kind of wish I'd bought a color. Played it safe with dark blue.

I love this coat. The color is dark, but vivid. It is lightweight, but very warm. I have been using it in 30 degree weather and don't feel the need for another layer. The fit is flattering, but its not so tight that I won't be able to fit another layer underneath when it gets colder. The fleece layer on the inside is soft. Super cozy coat. I highly recommend it. In my opinion it did run a bit large. I am usually a S/M in clothes - originally I ordered S, but exchanged it for a XS. The exchange process took a very long time, about a month and then I was still charged for shipping. It seems a bit "weak" for a big company like LL Bean. But whatever. I don't regret buying this by any means. Its a great coat, just wasn't 100% satisfied with the way this company handles returns/exchanges.

Comfortable. True to size. Flattering style. Warm. Wished the hood detached. Hoods can be challenging with cross body bags! The fleece lining sticks to some other materials (tops) rather than just an easy slide on. Overall I am pleased with this coat.

Good styling, carbon navy is a beautiful blue, not too heavy. I love it and I want it but it is too small around the chest . It is shapely but doesn't allow for anything bulky underneath like a sweat shirt for example.

This is the kind of coat you will reach for for your dog walks and errands, soft and feels so good on, has a hood if it turns out you need it. Good for cool but not cold months of travel. The zipper is not flimsy, it works well. There are only two pockets, both outside, but they are deep and have zippers. The fleece is smooth, not difficult to pull on over your clothes, and the arms have a silky lining. However, based on reviews I sized up and it turns out I did not need to. I don't agree it runs small. XL looks like a bag on me so I am exchanging for a Large. I like a generous fit and I think a Large will be generous enough. It is more helpful if you include your height and weight in your review. I am 5'6, 155 lbs. and I tried the XL with a tee shirt and thin pullover.

The jacket is what I had been looking for. A quilted, but low loft look. I didn't want bulky. The color is what was presented in the picture. The only con is the sleeves are snug in a heavy shirt. I really like the length. Just below my knees.

The coat is a perfect fit and cozy warm. My only reason to leave off one star is that I miss an internal zip pocket for my smartphone.

Even though I am a medium size person I always buy a large in LL Bean coats. This one is a little snug in the arms & through the body but I like how light weight & warm it is. Not able to comfortably wear a lightweight sweater under it. Good for going to appointments or shopping which is what I bought it for. Don't like to wear my heavier coats for that. Not really for prolonged wearing outdoors in cold weather at least for me. I was disappointed in the color. Spruce pine looked very different online & in the catalogs. The color is much darker--more like hunter green.

Nice coat but not for very cold weather. As with most of the coats I have bought lately the zipper is of poor quality. I am already having trouble with the zipper getting stuck at the bottom when I go to unzip it. I have already had two the have had the zipper split open and I' be had to get rid of them. You need better quality zippers.

Petite xxs. 5'0, 90 lbs. This coat fit perfectly. Hits my knees covering backside. It hasn't been cold enough to wear it yet, but unless it falls apart, it appears to be well made. Sleeves have smooth lining which is best for going over clothes, but..here's the question, are the sleeves insulated? The fleece for the body will keep my neck and body warm. Live on coast of ME and the winds can be very strong on a cold day.

It is thin. More suitable for temps in the 40s. Definitely need a heavy thigh length second layer if temps are in the 30s. The fleece lining makes it more challenging to put the coat on and off with a second layer. Coat is tailored nicely, zipper works two ways, and the blue has received compliments by passersby.

Love the length, love the furry type of fleece throughout body and even in hood! But really dislike that arms and pockets don't have at least some kind of fabric lining. With only nylon in arms and pockets, my arms and hands get cold! Overall, L.L. Bean quality is not what it used to be. For example, I always ordered my husband's shirts here, but no more. Sigh.

I am 5'10". I wear a M. The arm length is about 2" too short. I really wish LL Bean made a tall or long size for women to get the proportions right. The jacket is best for late fall (November) but not for frigid winter temps.
