I love love love my new coat. It's stylish, warm, durable and my go-to everyday as it gets colder. I wasn't sure if I would like the stitching and how it was made, but I was wrong. I AM IN LOVE WITH MY FIRST LLBEAN clothing purchase. Thank you.

Very nice. Greta for morning dog walks in November. Have only used it for 30 degree weather and it was perfect. It's a little tighter than other LL Bean in the same size. The color is stunning.

I think this is a very nice jacket for Texas winter or early to mid fall elsewhere. I chose this one over other brands of similar style and material and chose this one because 1) that fleece lining! So nice and cozy. 2) the hood is adjustable, placing this one far above every other quality brand I tried.It's not down filled which would be warmer but for the climate I live in, it's just right. Although it does occasionally get really cold here to the point of snow in which case I grab the down coat. I am perpetually between sizes (which is frustrating) I wear a Large in other Bean coats, but this one I felt the XL was more comfortable, although the bottom flares out a bit more than I would like-however, there's no problem sitting in the car while zipped. I am also able to wear a sweater underneath.

It is so light weight and easy to wear. I am 82 with a small frame and arthritic. I can move around comfortably without being overwhelmed by the bulk of most winter coats.

So light weight, comfortable, and warm. Love it.

It probably runs two sizes too small. I ordered a 3X. It may be a 1X or even just an XL. Otherwise, it's a very nice coat.

This coat is fantastic! We have had a bout of very wet weather, but our dogs must be walked. Zipper is heavy duty, coat is warm and waterproof. I love the attached hood, covers the top of your thighs! Xl fits size 16. Cannot say enough good things about this coat!

Love it. Coat ran a little small. Ordered xl and could zip but could not wear a heavy sweater so I changed to the 1x. Style is very attractive

This coat is the perfect length and weight for late fall early winter in MN! I know it's going to be my go-to coat daily! I love that it has a hood too!

I usually wear a medium in LLBean coats. I had to return the medium and get a large in order to be able to wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath. I love the coat. It's a perfect length and warm enough for Minnesota fall weather.

This jacket is super lightweight but is amazing at blocking wind. The inside is so soft, it's comfortable to wear with both long and short sleeve shirts beneath. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it.

This is a great jacket for those "I don't know what jacket to wear" days. I love the length-not too long but longer than a rain jacket. The fit and style are as described.

To my previous review after getting the size that fit, I walked on a windy day about 50 degrees with a sweatshirt and a Cuddl Duds thin tee. I would say it cuts wind well and was just warm enough for that weather.. I pulled the hood up and it was warm but I would recommend that Bean not use fleece in the hood. Just using the quilted fill with the silky lining material in the other jackets, because the fleece really messes up your hair much, much more.

I wasn't sure how I would like this coat at first but it's my favorite go to coat for all things these days. So comfortable and fits great. I tried to buy another to have for when Ive worn this one to death but unfortunately they're sold out online and at all stores. Great purchase.

This is the warmest and lightest coat I have ever purchased. If you want warmth, but lightweight, you should buy this coat! It is so worth the price!!!

I absolutely love this jacket! I ordered the teal green this fall (2020) and have gotten so much wear out of it. For reference, I live in Fargo, ND where it is cold and windy. This coat is a perfect mid-weight and mid-temp jacket. I love the length. It covers my bum and then some and keeps out the breeze. It blocks the wind perfectly and offers just the right amount of warmth. The hood is fantastic. I've worn it in temps to about 0 degrees and been warm, without too thick of a base layer. I have used it for everything; running errands, shoveling, walking, and even snowshoeing. I wore it yesterday with only a base layer to snowshoe for two hours (casually with friends) in 28 degree weather and was perfect. I love the lined sleeves for easy on and off, as well as the beautiful color. The lining is luscious. (I also have the vest in two colors.) The fit is flattering without being constricting. I ordered a medium, as I do for all LL Bean tops. This coat isn't intended for ND's coldest of the cold; I have the extra long down coat for that. This is ideal for when I want some warmth without bulk and in moderately cool temps (think 0-50 degrees). I'm about 5'9" and 155 lbs, with broad shoulders.

I am very pleased with this coat! It is comfortable, warm and stylish. I purchased the blue and black and may get the red. Thank you LL Bean for a nice coat!

A wonderful coat for everyday. If its a little colder layers work so well. Not bulky and it looks great. Lots of compliments on the style.
