Well made well but not for me. The vest waist area is ample. Using the draw cords would not seal out the wind/cold. Otherwise the vest was good for me size wise. I ordered M. I am 125lbs and 5ft 6ins.

This vest is awesome, it is warm, fits great and reminds me of vests I had 30 years ago!

This is one of the warmest down vests ever and I use the snap buttons constantly, actually often instead of the zipper. You can't go wrong with this vest! It's well made and a classic! I highly recommend it and hope it's around always.

Exactly what we were looking for. Warm, comfortable, and great pockets. This does run one size larger then what we normally purchase.

This is the third and probably last LL Bean down-filled vest I will have. I usually get about 12 years of wear out of them, and I wear a vest more often as the winters become more brutal. I really like the high neck coverage and the zippered inner pockets are great for hand-warming and securing valuables. Wash it gently, then gently dry it with tennis balls to keep the down fluffy. Don't waste your time shopping around. If you like down-filled vests, this is the only one to have.

I'm 4'11" and 116 lbs, 32DD, 26.5 inch waist and 36.5 inch hips the XXS fits perfectly with a little room to spare.

Comfortable and warm. I have worn one I my my vests( I bought the blue and black) over a sweater or knit turtleneck almost every day since I purchased them. I am 5'2" and weigh 125lbs. I purchased the Regular Small. The vest is a snug fit for me but I like that fit.

This vest is warm, stylish, and fits well. I got it for Christmas in reg small/black and was so sad because it was too big and XS was not available. But XS was available in petite. It is just a little shorter, does not have the same butt coverage. I am 5'3, 120 pounds, small frame.

Yes, I would recommend vest. It is very cozy. I got the XL.

I absolutely love this vest. It is very comfortable and very warm. I debated on this purchase but so glad that I now own this wonderful vest. I am 5'4", 130 pounds and purchased a size medium. It fits perfectly.

Absolutely love it! Found it while shopping at the store in Freeport and liked that it looks just like an LL Bean one my mom has had for years. It's excellent quality, fits great, and has so many secret pockets!

I've been looking all over for a real down vest. This vest is warm and looks very nice. Most vests are not really down, they are synthetic fiber fill and they just aren't warm. This one has a true down filler and is very well made. The zippers are heavy duty, as are the snaps. Usually I buy a small from LL Bean, but I needed the medium in this vest. I am 5' 7" and weigh between 135 and 140. My hips are larger than my bust, so I needed the medium to have it fit comfortably through the hips when wearing a sweater or sweatshirt.

This vest is warm and stylish. I am somewhere between a small and a medium -- I went with a small with this vest and it works great. I can fit a few layers under it before it starts to feel tight.

In Texas, we don't need coats very often, but vests are a great alternative for the occasional cold snap.
