Just what I wanted, warm and lofty but not too stiff. I feel it runs a little roomy but don't mind since can really pack on the layers underneath. I lost my first one and replaced right away.

Coming into the milder weather, it's too warm for longer jackets and vests. This is a great little vest for cool spring mornings over a cotton sweater. Falls at waist. I like the retro style. I usually prefer dark navy blue but this blue is working with my palette.

Love all the pockets and how warm it is! Wore mine at my sons basketball games and practice. I was able to flap my hands, move and cheer without the bulk.

Being shorter in later life & petite* makes it difficult to purchase clothing especially online. Thanks to everyone's reviews I felt comfortable ordering this item. It fits perfectly and the quality is excellent. Our Wisconsin weather has been up and down the last couple weeks and I have worn it throughout. I can wear a thick sweater and zipper it without it being tight. *I am 4'9 and 126 lbs. It is not too long or tight in the hips.

I love all the pockets, especially the double front pockets, so I can zip in my keys or cell phone and never worry about them dropping in the snow. I carry 2 cells, one person and one for work. the inside zip pocket carries one and side front pocket carries another, and the other side carries my key. this is the best ever vest. I do not like to wear a winter coat, but I do live in Chicago and you need something. This vest is my go-to winter protection, other than when I walk my dog in the mornings with a coat, this is what I wear all the time. I keep hoping for one of these Mountain Classic vest in bright red.

Great winter vest with layers! It gets cold in northern INdiana and this is great!

My daughter requested a vest to wear around campus for the in between weather. She was not ready for a winter coat, but needed something more than a hoodie. This did the trick. It kept her warm and she was able to comfortably wear a backpack with it without any problems.

It fits great, looks good and is the perfect weight even for Arizona!!

The item was a tad bit large(we bought small) but otherwise quality, style was all good. Got 5 smiles at Christmas!

Love it! Got a size bigger so I can layer with ease. It has zipped pockets within the snapped pockets for keys or other small items. Inside zipped pocket at chest holds my phone. It's warm. Repels light rain. So far, wind not an issue either. It looks really nice!

Super warm and stylish! I love the hidden zipper pocket inside the pockets. Only wish would be for the body to be a bit longer. It is worth noting that it runs large- I normally wear a small and accidentally ordered an xs, and it fits just fine.

Although I'm satisfied with this vest, I'm not a fan of prominent advertisement labels on garments. This label was easily removed, making me much happier.

I love this vest, though I was pretty confident that I would! I love that L.L. Bean offers petite sizes. That alone keeps me coming back for their outerwear. The quality and style are both great, as well. I do think this item runs a little loose, but that was okay with me. If you want a more fitted look, consider sizing down.

This is not a slim fit vest, it's bulky. But it's very warm and well designed. Unlike many jackets and vests these days it has a very sturdy zipper. It also has snaps so wind and rain can't get in the zipper. I was pleasantly surprised to find that both pockets had an inner zippered pocket which securely held my iPhone, keys etc. so pockets can be used for hand warming without worrying about losing stuff. With a long sleeve shirt and this vest I was warm walking on a day with temperatures in the low 40's.

A great vest. If deciding between two sizes, I'd recommend sizing down.

I've been looking for the perfect puffer vest all winter and this is it. Sized just right - in my usual size, I can easily wear a sweater or sweatshirt under it and still do up the buttons. I'm 5'3" and the petite hits in just the right spot. Bonus secured zip and fleece lining in each pocket.

I am 5'4", 136 pounds and a Petite Small fits nicely over a chamois shirt. Perfect for layering!

I used this for the first time in the PNW where springtime is always windy and chilly. I wore this on top of a jacket and went for a long walk along the water. I didn't feel the wind cut through the vest at all and be the end of the walk I was a bit sweaty (this says a lot of you have ever walked on the beach in PNW at the beginning of April). I LOVE this vest and highly recommend it for those who get cold easily. This one really works!!!
