I love the look of this sweater and that's sadly about all. The fit, as others have mentioned is just off. The body is wide and super long....and I am tall, 5'10"! This makes the sleeves short if they were to go all the way to your arm pit...which they don't. Sadly it had to go back, the other version of this is just too short in the body length for me so my search for a good fitting Irish knit Fisherman's sweater continues.....

I really wanted to love this sweater. I watched it for months and finally bought it when the weather started turning cold - I was so excited when it arrived! Then I tried it on. The sweater is huge. From other reviews I even bought the sweater in an XS (I am 5'5", 150 lbs.) and it was still fit like a sack. The quality of the sweater is excellent but the fit is formless. Sadly, I returned the sweater.

I have bought several of these sweaters. All but 2 have been greatcomfy, sized well, durable. But 2 developed holes in arms and then practically fell apart in an ordinary washing machine cycle. So, very mixed quality.

Within one week the seams unraveled. Washing it caused it to gray even more. Clearly very poor quality

Loved the sweater, however the yarn was cheap & started falling apart while wearing. It didn't survive the first wash & was returned.

I wanted to love it but I don't. I am 5'5 135. It is very boxy and way too long.

The length is perfect for leggings and the fit is comfortable, but the yarn is falling apart and unraveling. Along the seams and cuffs, the sweater looks terrible. It has only been washed twice and never machine dried. The quality is way below what I expect from LL Bean.

I was looking for a warm tunic for winter, but unfortunately this just wasn't it. The neck looks kind of plain and droopy, and the bottom didn't lay quite right. Maybe I needed to size down, but I am not sure. I also felt that the thickness/weave made my arms look funny. I can't recommend this even though it looks lovely on the model!

This sweater fit like a huge dress/tunic......came down to almost my knees and was SO HEAVY it felt like wearing weights! The yarn is thick and coarse....NOT comfortable. Will not buy again....

Normally medium L.L. Bean's fit perfectly- this one had to be miss-sized. It was huge and I mean huge. I paid the extra money and sent it back.
