I love this sweater and bought a second one! It is true to size so I ordered up one size because I like wearing oversized clothing. The rose colored one makes me feel very feminine because of the color yet the fabric is rugged and strong. They keep me warm and I always get compliments from both men and women. I like the side zippers because depending on what bottoms I'm wearing, I need a little extra room. I'll buy more colors if the offer them again.

Love the not too pink color and the fisherman knit. The side zippers add to the already great style. A bit bigger than expected but I like it that way. 100% cotton.

I love this sweater. I was worried by reviews that said it was rougher than anticipated. While it's not overly soft it also isn't scratchy. It's warm and I love how low it falls on the hip line. It does run as large as the reviews say.

I bought the green color, and it has become my absolute favorite top. I have to stop myself from wearing it everyday. It has a quality hand and attractive details. I'd absolutely recommend it for fall and winter wear.

Love my new sweater. I bought the green, and it's a beautiful color. It's very warm, and I like the tunic style. It looks great with tights or skinny jeans. I usually buy PS, but the regular small works for me. I am a 34 C, and about 35 in the hips. I get lots of compliments on the look and style of this sweater.

I absolutely love this sweater! It is heavy and flattering and looks great with skinny jeans or leggings. I ordered the pink color because I missed out on the green, and am so glad I did! The cables are a lighter pink that contrasts with the rest of the sweater which is a slightly darker shade and it is very warm also. The sleeves aren't too short which is my biggest issue when ordering a small in sweaters, they are the perfect length. Definitely recommend!

I was so pleased that when I ordered this tunic, it actually fit. I often order a Men's Large just to get the proper fit - the women's sizes sometimes aren't as sturdy as the men's and when I've ordered similar cabled cotton sweaters, they've run too small. This one fit perfectly, is extremely well-made and sturdy - so I can wear it for years to come. Very, very happy with my purchase.

These sweaters are heavy and just as warm as they look! When you put them on the length is perfect - for jeans, leggings or dress pants. I like the side zippers, too. I also like that they are cotton as wool fabric is too itchy for me. The green color is great for Christmas!

I absolutely love this sweater! The quality is excellent and it is an item I will wear for years to come. One caution is that it runs a little large. I'm a very consistent "large" and purchased a medium. Fortunately for me, I was able to try it on at the store so I had no issue.

What a great sweater! I've picked up both the green and pink, both gorgeous. The fit is fantastic and is classic enough (and quality enough) to last for many years. LL Bean, please make more colors available and keep this style available for a long time. I'll live in this.

Perfect in every way! I have purchased this sweater in multiple colors, which is a testimony to how much I love it. It is flattering with skinny jeans and is long enough to be flattering with leggings. It is also quite distinctive. When I saw a woman wearing a pale green one at Rockland Breakwater in My home state of Maine, I recognized it immediately, and just as immediately wondered how I'd missed picking up that lovely color! This sweater is worth every penny, for beauty, warmth, & style.

This is a beautiful Black Forest green fisherman's sweater. Some of the reviews recommended ordering a size down, which I did not do because the customer service rep said that it was slightly fitted. In many LLBean things I am in between large and XL, but I have a signature cable short cardigan in large whose arms are a bit too snug on me, so I ordered the XL in this one, and I am glad that I did because the arms fit well. The XL sweater is a bit large on me, but the Large would have been a little tight, plus on cold days I can wear the sweater over another shirt. I like the longer length of this sweater too, and think that it would look good with black leggings. The neckline is a little looser than other fisherman's sweaters, but that is fine with me.

Love it! Thick, but not too hot, room for layering, but still cute and fitted! Have in 3 colors, would love to see it in an olive color!!!

Ideally I wear an XS in this tunic style sweater as it runs large. I am 5' 2" tall, and weigh 120 lbs. now after holiday feasting.<lol> BUT this unique "Navy Washed" color was on sale, and unfortunately now ONLY available in XXS. . Reading other reviewer's comments I decided to take a BIG gamble and order the XXS, because I was so fascinated by the color. It just arrived today. The color is a pretty dusty navy, a bit darker blue than the photo shows, but a nice contrast of lighter and darker blue tones. The cable pattern really is lovely, and the sweater is definitely a heavy weight, which is what I expected from reading the reviews. I do not find it scratchy or picky on my skin, as a few people stated. Ideally I would like this sweater to fit a bit larger, (an XS) but again, only the XXS was all that was available. The length is perfect, for me, but It fits a bit snug in the arms which isn't a big problem, as I have slender arms, and is a bit too snug through the body to comfortably wear a button down shirt or turtle neck under it. The measurement of this XXS from top of shoulder down the side to the bottom side edge is approximately 24", and it measures 18" from armpit seam down to edge of cuff. I have long arms and the sleeve length is perfect for me. Even though the sweater is a heavy weight knit, there are still small places here and there in the weave where you can see your bra, so you will likely want to wear a camisole or thin tank top under it. I plan to order this style in another color next fall BUT in the next larger size.(XS) It is a real beauty!

As a lifelong bean shopper, this is my best llbean purchase ever. Excellent quality sweater. It is longer than photo, falls at low hip. The cut, and cableknit texture, softness of yarns, edge detailing is all well done. I am 5'10" and had stopped buying bean tops because they are too short, especially the sleeves. But not this one, I ordered a size up with the large for the extra length, and the length is perfect - the width is roomy which I like but if you want a fitted look, and dont need the extra length it should be an ample fit at 'true to size'. Super comfortable, soft and 'moves easily'. I cant take it off, I just love it.

I bought this in the beige color last year. Loved it, got so many compliments! It washed well, so I had to have another. Just got the cherry color! I waited till they had a sale, and got 20% off, as I just cant see paying full price, unless you don't care. The sweater is heavy weight - long and roomy. I got a large, but could have fit in a M. I can layer if I wish and use this as more of outerwear in the fall. Just love the zippers! Long enough to wear with leggings. I wear with jeans, perfect sweater for the winter months in PA.

I am tall, long armed, and long of torso. A fisherman knit sweater that is svelte is a delight to wear. Please keep it as a standard item with different color options

Purchased three of these in different colors. Sized just right. Very comfortable and WARM! The neck line could use a bit of work but I just throw on a scarf or a turtle neck and there you go...........

This sweater is beautiful, fits perfectly, I absolutely love it. It is safe to say, it is my all time favorite purchase from llbean and I have been buying here for many many years.

I cannot tell you how much I adore this sweater! It stated that the blue was back ordered till June,but the sweater arrived 3 days later! It runs AT LEAST 1-1 1/2 sizes bigger than most sweaters,I usually wear a Large (because I like sweaters to run bigger so I can wear a top underneath) & I purchased a Medium,but I could have EASILY worn an XS or S. I decided to keep the Medium though because I have a large chest and I think it may have been too tight of a fit up top,but I would have liked it to fit a bit tigher in the waist so I'm kind of stuck in between sizes. I LOVE the washed blue and the side zips are great! I am planning to buy one in every color and I hope that they keep this style as a staple,it's well made and worth the price. For reference I am 5'4 132lbs,38D & the tunic length completely covers my rear end. Once you buy one you will be addicted,great weight and comfortable fabric.

The color, the weight, the pattern, are absolutely perfect. I especially love the zippers on both sides, no worries about stretching out when you sit down. This is the second Fisherman's Sweater I bought (the first is a traditional style) because I loved the first one so much. I left Kittery, ME 26 years ago and miss shopping at LLBean, so thankful for LLBean online. Never been disappointed with any purchase.

I love this sweater! If I could get away with wearing it every day this winter I would. I'm a fairly small person; about 5'3", 110 pounds, small frame, and the Misses Regular XXS fits me perfectly! It's nice and warm, and the red is such a nice color. If you're thinking about it, it's definitely worth buying!
