Nice Jacket; but........should be heavier weight to be a true 3 SEASON jacket [ie: early spring, late fall] and should have a double zipper [keep chest warm while freedom of motion].

The jacket was purchased for a tall guy; however, the sleeves came up above his wrists by a few inches. Purchased XL Tall for my 6'4 guy and returned :/

For an Extra Large, this jacket is a little snug, no extra room for a sweater or vest. It is quite warm but maybe a little too much for a 3 seasons in my area. I live in Las Vegas Nv

Looks good, good snug fit, warm. Fleece lining impedes putting on the coat. If I could get it on more easily, I would like it more.

It was a nice jacket but It was a tight fit and we returned it. The tall size was good but the large was too tight in the chest. Across the shoulders right too.

This is very clearly a 2-season jacket for the spring and fall. It's much too lightweight for winter as the body has only a single layer of thin fleece. Will be returning it for this reason.

The jacket fits great but the fleece lining is a bit thin compared to my previous LL Bean jacket.

I was looking for a warm jacket. Nice jacket , not as warm as I thought. Will be ordering a wind breaker jacket . Much warmer .

Well constructed, features as promised but the photo makes product look more roomy than it is - the medium (a size I typically find perfect for me). I wear a 39 R jacket and the M size is too snug.

I gave a 3 star because the coat is not that warm on really cold days.

This is misnamed as a bomber jacket. It is not insulated like the name implies. Quality is not that of typical LLBean.

Size and color were good. Kept the jacket, but compared with prior jacket insulation much thinner. Remains to be seen if it will keep me warm enough.

A nice jacket, but, I ordered, online, both this jacket along with a well known retail competitor's squall bomber style jacket. (I wanted to be able to try them on, feel, and compare the two, and then return one.) The jackets were nearly, if not, identical to the point they may be manufactured at the same facility and just a different manufacturer's tag placed on the breast. The difference was the price whereby the competitor offered a nice holiday-type discount and LLBean offered none. I am an LL Bean Mastercard holder, so this was frustrating for me.

It's warm without being too warm. The lining clings to my shirts. Static is excessive.

Their sizing needs to be looked at. The XL jacket was so ill fitted that my Wife couldn't get it on. Seeing all LLBeans clothes are not made here the least they could do is base their sizing on USA sizing and not the small sizing of their overseas people.

Great style and well made but definitely not for cold weather and a little more snug than expected.

The bomber jacket is a good mid-weight jacket with a comforting internal lining. Kind of fun to wear for an outdoor activity. But I was seriously disappointed to find there are no inside pockets which are essential for my purposes. And the hood has a serious flaw in design. It's really not useful because it draws down over your head to about your nose when you try to use it for warmth. I can't understand how a great company like LL Bean with decades of winter weather designing could make such a major mistake.

I was looking for something like the warm-up jacket with a hood, and this seemed to fit the bill. It is well made, like other Bean products, but slightly fitted was too tight for me. The rib knit cuffs seemed loose, unlike he warm-up jacket, and the hood was very, very large. I returned it.

Quality is great so far but the fit is a bit tight in the shoulders & body (especially for an XXL).

Looks nice, comfortable to wear. For me two issues, needs more insulation in the core area, and cuffs are to large. I have been buying stuff from LL Bean for 45 years. I still wear some of the first products I purchased. The quality and fit is just not there anymore.

I like everything about this jacket except the sizing fit. Like past L.L. Bean windbreaker type jackets, it fits too snuggly. I bought a large and it's tight. In comparison, all the other large size things I buy from Bean fit loosely.

Expected better quality/product from LL Bean, especially since it wasn't a $12 item. Just too light a jacket. It feels like a piece of paper.

This coat's description is misleading. It's a very lightweight jacket with very modest insulation, probably not suitable for temperatures below 55 degrees. I'm disappointed in the quality and the misleading description. Buyer beware. I was looking for a midweight wind and water resistant coat to keep me warm and dry to at least the 40 degree range. They also ship by UPS, and arrival was several days late, and the package had been opened and re-taped.

Not the L.L.Bean quality I except. This Jacket was mediocre. It was warm & fit well, but the cost was high for the quality I received

I was expecting a warmer coat. This is in my opinion a fall jacket. I have hoodies that are heavier than this. It's nicely made, but not for cold weather.
