I have been shopping from LL bean for 30 years and have had great experiances and support all along the way. I bought the Men's Insulated 3-Season Bomber Hooded Jacket and am disappointed. I have bought 3-4 jackets from Bean over the rears and know what to expect from sizing. This Jacket is significantly smaller in fit that what I expect. I had to size up and even then the jacket is tight in the chest. The jacket is lawyered but the jawyers seem to be disconnected from each other. I find that I struggle to put on the jacket as the outer shell and inner shell are independent of each other and makes it hard to put your arms in the sleeves. The Jacket looks great but not up the bean standard. The return replacement went smoothly

Quality and weight is exactly what I expected...top notch..... however, the shoulder/arm hole cut design renders the arm hole too tight, and noticeably different than the non-hooded bomber warm-up jacket that it mimics Regretfully, will have to return item

large needs reworking. My normal size always for a large this did not fit my body. It would require too much fussing. Returned

I ordered this jacket to replace a LL Bean jacket that I had for several years. I expected it to be similar in size but felt more like a size Laege than Extra Large. The fit is no where near that of my old jacket.

These are my husband'sNoemally favorite. However, when he put the new one on the lining of the right arm was totally ripped. Wanted to reorder but didn't have any and had no idea if or when they would be restocked.

I received this jacket yesterday and was really impressed by the looks and fit. However, they market the jacket as "3 season" which may be accurate if you live in Key West, but not so much for the rest of the country. It was extremely light and felt like there was no insulation in it at all. Back it went. Very disappointed in LL Bean... I really expected better from them.

I received my coat two days ago and had ordered a size up so I could wear a heavy sweater underneath if needed and to my surprise this coat was way to small! The arms were so tight I thought I'd teat the seams if I moved around and the waist was extremely tight in a coat that I should be swimming in. I sent it back immediately

I bought this thinking that I could wear something under it. Anything more than a T shirt would make it too tight.

wanted to love this jacket but its just too tight under arms. very strange for LLbean to do this.

Disappointed with fit. Confirmed size chart and it is still too tight. Mostly under the arm pits. Afraid to move around too much when it's zipped up. Waste of $$. Wore it once, felt tight. Can't return because it got dirty. Disappointed with end result. Took awhile to find item and it's a terrible fit. Too bad, was looking forward to it.

Wish this wasn't fleece and was like the kids version. Fleece just doesn't last or wash well.

The jacket is difficult to put on due to the shoulders being too narrow. Once on the fit is too tight for me. I have always ordered size small, and the fit has always been perfect. I have not gained any weight since my last purchase.

Purchased XL Tall for boyfriend, 6'4, 250 pounds. Sleeves came up at least 6 inches on his wrists. Think Tommy boy. $6.50 to return it is also a bummer.

This jacket is not properly sized. I ordered a 2XL. The chest area of the jacket is the smallest & tightest of any 2XL jacket I own. I guess this is to be expected since it was manufactured in Vietnam.

This would have been a good coat if it was made similar to other styles I've had. Unfortunately I had to return it due to the design. The small print noted that this garment is "slightly fitted" style. So fitted, it would not accommodate a sweater under it. Please offer this in normal sizes.

i love this jacket and so glad i bought this jacket.

I bought this jacket for my husband for Christmas. Unfortunately the fit of the jacket was terrible. The sleeves were too long and it fit very tight in the shoulders and underarms. My husband has a slender build and is not that broad in the shoulders so not sure why the jacket fit was so wrong.

Liked the bomber but very disappointed at how short the sleeves were - they certainly were not that of a tall size. Bought it for my son- ( who is 6'2) and the sleeves ended at his forearm.

Problems with the way the arms connect to the jackets torso- the arm openings are too small, uncomfortably tight under my armpits. Also, the cuffs on the ends of the sleeves are too large, you'd need to have to have very thick wrists to get a weather seal. For me, the cuffs were way too big, big air gaps around my wrists. I thought this jacket would be like a hooded version of the "warm-up" jacket. No. it is not. The fleece in the body of the jacket is nowhere near as thick and warm as the warm-up jacket. I got this as a gift. We will return it. We had high hopes, being a fan of the warm-up jacket. Oh well.

poor quality after just one wear and is not even dark blue, don't buy from this brand. Bad customer service.

Jacket was returned because the Large Tall sleeves were to short for for Large Tall Man

I WAITED 6 WEEKS FOR A JACKET THAT DOESN'T EVEN FIT CORRECTLY. HOW DO YOU MAKE $100+ JACKETS FIT TOO SMALL??? IT'LL BE SPRING BY THE TIME ANOTHER ONE SHOWS UP

I returned this item because the fit was very poor. It was unusually tight around the chest right under the armpits. I have bought a lot of llbean clothing that fit great, it is confusing and disappointing when some clothes fit terrible.
