This jacket is the first thing I've bought from LLBean that I am disappointed in. And I am greatly disappointed. Firstly, it just isn't made properly. Yeah, I know the advert says "slightly fitted" but I'm thinking this is a far sight more than "slightly". I ordered the 3XL tall, which is my usual size. I can only imagine the person that this would fit will have a small head and very narrow neck, scrawny shoulders, chest, back, and arms....while having a big gut because as snug as it is in the upper body it bags out at the waist. If I zip it all the way up under my chin while just wearing a light flannel shirt under it, the neck area is very tight and bordering on choking me. If you've bothered to build your upper body up at all in your work or athletic endeavors, you will find this jacket too restrictive in the upper body. The length in the sleeves and torso is fine at least. However, it's not even warm. I took the dogs out this morning with the temps in the upper forties and I could feel the cold sinking right through. The more I wear it, the more I wish I would have returned it, and I'm thinking this jacket is a real dud for a grown man.

For one thing this jacket is cut odd. Meaning a size too small in the chest and shoulders, but still managing to be baggy in the waist. It says slightly fitted but I think it's a little more than slightly, at least around the chest shoulder and back areas. The hood is small, and so are the front pockets, I can barely get my whole hand in them. I'm 6'6", 270 pounds, athletic build with broad shoulders, big chest and arms, and I ordered my regular size which is 3XL tall. This fits like a 2XL in the upper body and doesn't really give me much room to layer at all or move about without feeling constrained. So, you might wanna think about going up a size if you like those things, if possible. The color is nice. (thyme) Sort of a dark foliage green, just a shade darker than the foliage green of U.S. Army fame. I'll keep it because I'm sure I can use it on chilly mornings, but it's not really what I was shooting for a hoping to get, and us big guys are running out of places to get clothes.

Poor quality. Size doesn't match other llbean hoodie and jackets. Light weight. Pockets too small.

Upon receipt I found this coat to be very poorly sized. I estimate it to be at least two sizes smaller than labeled. I'm so disappointed. I will need to look elsewhere as the offering in my size are limited and/or out of stock.

Terribly quality. Cut very small to size...almost 2 sizes too small. Short sleeves. Tight shoulders. Very thin, 3 seasons is a stretch, more like 1.5 seasons.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. I bought this as a hooded companion to a similar coat I bought last year from LLBean, the Warm-Up Jacket with flannel lining... Bought the same size (XL), but this is MUCH smaller (in the arms AND across the back). Further, the material used for the shell is MUCH cheaper. Not as strong and much more "delicate"... I would not recommend buying this coat unless you try it on and feel the material used in the shell.

1st problem, I bought a 3XL and it fit more like a 1XL. It was cut so small, it was comical! The arms were tight and it didn't even come close to covering my front enough to zip up....like there was a 6 inch gap between zippers.
It is also not a 3-season, more like a 1 season. Very thin, more like a cool summer evening.

Sizes run extra small. 3xl is usually big on my husband. This 3xl wouldn't even close over his belly. No larger size is available so I had to return for a refund.

Jacket is undersized. When I ordered double X tall, the sleeves were halfway up my arm the chest wouldn't even zip sizing on these and it also had no inside pockets as it states.

This is the first L L Bean product I purchased where zu was very disappointed. I ordered a 2XL tall, and it fits more like a XL.
I like coats looser so that I can dress in layers; however, I cannot wear anything other than a shirt underneath because the jacket fits so snugly in the chest and under the arms.
The description reads relaxed in chest and sleeves and slightly fitted in the waist. Well, the waist fits fine but not the rest.
I would not recommend this jacket unless Bean redesigns the fit to be true to size.

I use that lol beans sizing guide and the jacket is too small. Just haven't had time to return it to get the proper one.

The sleeves are down to my palms and overly tight with just a tee shirt on. Made overseas and overpriced.
I have been a customer since 1972 and I am thoroughly disappointed with Bean

I like the design of the jacket but the quality is really poor. Stitches are messed up and has lots of fuzz getting stuck in the zipper. I would not expect this from LLBEAN as a customer who owns many other LLBEAN products.

Purchased the green three season jacket and a week later when I went to use the internal pocket to my surprise it has been sewn into the main zipper internally. I cannot find the receipt as I thought the jacket was amazing with no intentions on Return. Now very hesitant for future purchases

This jacket does not have an interior chest pocket as specified in the description. The quality of the jacket is poor. Several exterior seams are unraveling. The interior lining is coming loose. One of the pocket zippers has come apart, and the main jacket zipper does not work smoothly.

This jacket runs extremely small. This is unusual for LL Bean, so we are VERY disappointed. I am returning the jacket. LL Bean clothes usually run true to size or a little large. LL Bean should have indicated that this jacket runs small.

My old LL Bean Jacket that I still wear but it is worn out- I thought this would replace it but was mistaken! I wear a Large Tall and the two previous jackets fit me well in the body + arm length. This one does neither! The arms are at least three inches too short and the body feels like it's a Medium size- WAY too snug! The front pockets don't even fit my hands all the way in- a far cry from my previous two LL Bean jackets. Size appears to have NO quality control! This will go back! Lost my faith in LL BEAN quality.
