I have bought a number of seater vests from LLB in recent years and this one perfectly suited the color combinations I lacked. The vest fits will, blends nicely with my shirts, turtlenecks and trousers. It meets all expectations.

A beautiful vest that's comfortable for both indoor and outdoor use. The wool is very soft and stretches so no need to oversize. I'm 5'10" and wear a size 44 sport coat and the large fits perfectly (purchased "in-store", not on-line). Love the lined collar; great over tees, sweats, or sweaters.

Had this vest since LL Bean first offered and still wearing through many seasons. I see they're gradually offering more colors. Still more needed, like black, and charcoal grey. I have vests in brown and navy blue. The vest is a good weight - not too heavy, not too light. Looks smart, wears well. Haven't washed it yet so can't say how it will hold up with washing. I'm a short woman and the medium men's is perfect. Can't go wrong investing in this vest for your wardrobe!

A recent purchase for my husband to wear at the office and around town. While the name suggests a sporty garment, this vest is a very good addition to my husband's workplace and around-town wardrobe. The knit is substantial, does not cling like lighter-weight knit vests do. The fit is definitely flattering. Size large works well for a man who is 5'10", 190lbs.

I'm really looking forward to cooler weather to try this vest out. The material and color are great. The fit is excellent. I wear an XL and often if I want to layer under a sweater I'll have to order up to XXL so I was concerned about size. Not so here. The fit is generous enough that I can wear layers under the vest and still have unrestricted movement for swinging a shotgun. Last year I got the full sweater version with the windblock lining and the fit there is snug. It seems like they took an XL sweater and put the lining inside it which of course restricted the generosity of the fit. On days where it's not horribly cold it's going to be the vest getting the work. I love it !

I bought Waterfowl Sweater Vest as a birthday gift to my son two years ago. He really loves it and wears non-stop. So I thought my husband will also enjoy such a great sweater and bought one for him.

we looked all over for this vest, it was the best thing we found. He wears it all the time because he gets cold around his ribs and this helps keep warm.

This wool vest is comfortable and very warm. I am completely satisfied.

The warmth is great. Fit is good. Color is a medium intense brown. I enjoy wearing in the cold winter evenings.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my 90 year old dad.When I took it out of the package, I was convinced it was way too big.The vest looked huge! Too late to return it and get another before Christmas,so I wrapped it up and gave it to him,As he opened it, I told him I would return it for a smaller size. Much to everyone's surprise,it fit him...a little long,it hangs to mid-thigh,but otherwise perfect! He absolutely loves it and wears it everyday.

This is a great product. 100% wool, machine wash and machine dry, not too bulky, great for around the house and cool outdoor days. I have now had mine for two years and it is still going strong. I'm a woman 5'5" and 120 pounds - got the Men's Small and it is perfect for me. It did not shrink on washing. The Loden color is mostly brown with a hint of green. Gave it as a gift to two other people as well. It comes in a lined version which I gave as a gift - she loves it too.

This lambswool vest arrives with a pleasant surprise. It's very nice quality, and the color (navy) is attractive-a touch heather/tweed. This vest is warmer than I would have anticipated. Very happy with this product.

Bought this for my husband one year ago in 2011 He wears it a lot!. He wore it to a meeting today and received a very nice compliment. Person asked where he got it. Considering ordering another.

I ordered this to replace a vest that the moths destroyed. It is very comfortable, warm but not overly so and stylish with business casual or jeans. I normally wear XL (chest 45"), and the L fits very well. The fleece parts prevent the usual wool irritation and it keeps its shape well.

I actually own two of these vests - brown and blue. They are the ideal weight. I like the zip up style and the soft, yet thick, weave of the material. It is the perfect vest that can be both casual for weekend outings and somewhat dressy for my office. Received a lot of compliments on the vests so far. Excellent value! May get the third color too!

An outstanding sweater vest. The Loden color is more brownish than I was expecting. But the color in the ad is true.

Bought this for my husband. I've gotten him a couple similar ones from LL Bean over the years. This doesn't have the fleece lining, but is still very warm and looks fantastic. The color is great.

I'm usually a tall medium but this sweater in a medium fits just fine. The Loden is a handsome color. The quality is top notch. The fleece lining on the collar and in the pockets is a big plus. Thanks for another great product!

I love everything about this vest, and would recommend it to anyone. The only drawback I find is the zipper, it is somewhat hard to get it started but with patience it can be done.
