Hello, I purchased this medium -sized sweater to keep me warm during the Winter months in Santa Fe, NM. The size is what I expected ( slightly large), allowing for a long-sleeve shirt and if need be, a turtleneck underneath that. The zipper is heavy duty, and the overall appearance of the sweater is what I would expect of LL Bean. I am 5'10" and weigh 160 lbs.

This sweater is so comfortable and also cozy. The colors are so beautiful (I have 2) and the sweater wears nicely.

Gave it to my husband for his birthday and he loves it. Just right for him.

The last LL Bean Large Tall item that I bought for my husband was the Washable Lambs Wool sweater. The sleeves and the body were short on that one for what I would expect from a Large Tall. This time, I ordered a Large Tall of the Waterfowl Sweater, and the sleeves and body length are perfect, probably an inch and a half longer than the previous sweater. I had ordered and XL as well just in case, but have canceled it as the LT fits perfectly. Quality is great- Dark Loden color is much more olive than what the online pic looked like to me. Great Purchase.

I love this sweater! It is well-made thick and warm. I really like the polar fleece around the collar for added comfort. I would recommend this sweater to anyone who wants to stay warm.

Purchased for my husband who does wood for a living. Figured he could use it in the winter when cutting and splitting wood. He loves it! Wont wear it to do wood yet as he said it is way too beautiful. Eventually he will. Loves the reinforced areas and says it is well made and will definitely keep him warm. Finally a sweater he loves!

Exceptional construction and comfort; generously sized. I'm 6', 165# and ordered a large. I considered downsizing to a medium, but afraid that would be too snug. Would highly recommend.

Being a new Englander and vacationing in Montana, I wore this sweater with an LL bean crew neck sweatshirt in 30 degree weather on a hike and stayed warm as warm could be! As a long standing LL bean customer I am very satisfied with the warmth and quality that ll bean never fails to provide! Will look forward to many more years with this sweater! A++++!!

Bought as a retirement present for my brother. He loved it. He said you can't go wrong if it has L. L. Bean on the label.

Waterfowl sweater is high quality and warm. It can be worn in the field or town. Am looking forward to using it during hunting season..

This is a great sweater. I don't like wearing coats in the winter and this will be perfect for fall, winter, or spring. It will layer nicely and look good doing it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a coat alternative.
