Very warm and I have received several compliments on it. Fits me perfectly in a Large which is what I generally wear.

I like that sweater on my husband, it is stylish and of very good quality.

Hard to go wrong with this sweater (my second). It's a nice heavy weight that keeps you warm and offers excellent freedom of movement. Runs a little big so if you are on the cusp, you can likely size down. Like most of Bean's products, it'll last for years.

Fits perfectly. Love it, very warm , no smell that others mentioned. Wish I could wear everyday.

My husband loves this sweater. He had to take it one size bigger than he wears because it was all that was available, but he doesn't mind it being extra big so any shirt he wants to wear underneath will fit. Nice color, the zipper makes many comfort options, and it looks good.

It's heavy and very warm. That's the main 2 reasons why I purchased it. And it looks very good. I ended up getting the XL Tall. The 2XL which I normally wear was a bit big.

My step mother sent me this sweater and after years of questionable gifts, we finally figured it out. I loved it so much I bought another color for myself and sent one to my step dad (yeah, I have both sets of steps..) He loves his, been fishing in it every day. I love mine, for me it's an out on the town sweater and it works well. Don't **** around, buy a landmark. When I first looked at it, I wasn't't sure if I was the young guy in the ads or that handsome as f- old sandy haired dude, but ultimately, at 40, I'm both and this sweater is the bomb.

Good Fit (L-Tall), great style, keeps warm, can be worn with or without button down shirt.

It looks better in person than in the excellent presentation in the catalog.

My new Men's Waterfowl Sweater is just ducky and I'm a lucky duck to have gotten it. I think I got about the last one in my size in the country--thanks to the sales ladies in a Bean shop several states away. Mine is dark cinder, pictured as kind of brown but in reality it is a light brownish purple. Fine with me, it goes with just about everything. It is a well-made tight-knit wool sweater--not too heavy-- with a handsome brown trim around the neck. The high collar adds warmth together with my scarf, and I was walking downtown today in 20-degree weather warm and totally not chilled. It fits perfectly, for me that means it is large enough to fit comfortably over even a Bean fleeced Henley. The sleeve length and length to waist are perfect. All in all, a Bean treasure. I just might buy another-- if I can find one in my size.

Bought as a gift for my son. Very pleased with this sweater. Good-looking, well-constructed, nice weight. My 6'5" son looks extremely handsome in this sweater!

Heavy quality sweater - perfect for cold weather area

I gave the Waterfowl Sweater to my very, did I say very, more persnickedy than discriminating - both really, Lol, brother for Christmas. He put it on, felt the quality, loved the microfleece collar and never took it off. Wonderful sweater, a little larger than sized...therefore perfect for layering, and extra-comfy for lounging by itself. Don't let those closet to you try this on, you'll never get it back.

I ordered 8 sweaters from 4 different companies, all just so I might find one that I liked. I returned all of the others and kept this one . . . or several reasons. I love the styling and color; it's super comfortable and fits perfectly; and while it provides warmth, I don't burn up while wearing it. What more could a person ask for?

This is by far my favorite sweater offered by LL Bean. The fit, quality, and look are all great. I can wear it on walks during cold winter mornings or over a button up shirt and wear it to work. One of my co-workers loved it so much she bought one for her husband.

Lovely quality and workmanship on this piece. Color is also beautiful and sweater is true to size. It's heavy so can be used outdoors in chilly autumn.

This is more of a sweater you would wear outside as it is really thick and heavy. Cannot go wrong staying warm in fall in this one.
