Did not like so I returned it. I wanted a thinner sweater, this one is very thick.

Purchased as a gift for my husband. He wears a large in everything. This sweater was HUGE (I had to check and make sure we received the right size.)

The security tag was left on and we had to return it. There was not a replacement of any kind. Very disappointing

The arms on this sweater are baggy and strangely cut

I have made an exchange for a smaller size. They have not received despite reaching out

The brown microsuede collar bleeds brown onto shirts and tees I wear under it. The stains are dark, obvious and noticeable and hard to get them out, even with stain removers. This is outrageous and this otherwise wonderful sweater is unwearable.

It was a very nice sweater and fit well, until the first hand-wash, then it shrunk by about 15%. The XL sweater became a large sweater and now it is too small. I'm more than a little disappointed....

This sweater was pilled, as if it were a secondhand garment. I purchased the same Waterfowl Sweater in 2016, and that first one is in better shape today than the one I just purchased. It's definitely being returned.

I have 4 of these sweaters and they are great. This sweater was so small in size compared to the others. So off was the size that I returned it. Not sure what changed this sweater wasn't even close to fitting me. Very disappointed that this is something else I won't be able to buy from LL Bean

Just for this sweater and the best version of this sweater as well in size Large. I'm 5'10" and 175 lbs with a 43 inch chest and a fairly athletic build. Both have very tight wais and a ton of room around the belly/love handle area. I feel like if I was an overweight couch jockey who wanted to look like I was a rugged outdoorsman I'd be very happy with the fit. Returning both.

Why don't you have this in small. You have it in the gore-tex version

Stiff, heavy, poor fitting around the neck. Nothing cozy about this sweater. All around miss for me. Plus a Charge to send it back

The first wash created two holes on the left front. There was no unraveling and the holes were across several stitched rows. I have four other Bean sweaters that have been washed for years. Maybe just a bad one/

Actual color & photo mismatch (3rd time; this one more brown); upper sleeves outrageously "puffy"; won't order any more sweaters: 3rd time actual item is total mismatch to description and traditional LL Bean quality (hasn't been there unfortunately for years now)...Returned.

Fit was true but sweater was scratchy, neck inflexible, and brown color looked odd. Tags suggested old inventory. Simply not an LL Bean quality item.

Sizing...I am 6'1, 195...ordered a large which was way too big...am exchanging it for a medium which hopefully will fit...otherwise I am out 2 return shipping fees...

I washed this item in cold water on the gentle cycle and it shrunk nearly a full size! Does not fit any more!!!

I bought one of these in 2012 or so. I loved it!! Amazing wool. Generous cut -so much so I ordered a medium at 6'4" 210. I thought this summer I'll get the jump and order one now before they sell out. The 2014 version is NO WHERE near the same. First the material feels more like a heavy cotton and is not the rich wool it was. Second the sizing has changed and a medium now is about 3-4"smaller cut (I compared the 2012 to the 2014 side by side). I returned the 2014 version ~very disappointing. IT felt more like a mid level department store sweater and not the quality LL Bean product it once was. Sad. Why dont companies get it? You cant make things worse every year. Charge me a few bucks more and keep the quality!!!

Had to send it back because it was too itchy and much bigger than I thought it would be.

This is a very nice sweater. It's real wool so it's itchy and merits a long sleeve undershirt. The sweater I received must have been mis-sized. Based on other L.L. Bean clothing I own, I ordered a Large. The sweater I received is marked as Large, but the measurements fit the XXL specs on the size chart. The neck is 18.5" and the waist is 48". This thing is HUGE. Given so many other positive ratings, I suspect it is just a problem for me, but it is a frustrating one.

The color was completely wrong. I sent the first one back, got a second sweater, same problem. Sent that back, too. Disappointed LL Bean didn't check their quality control.
