Graphite color. I bought a large. A bit longer and heavier than I expected, but should give me good coverage in the 5 to 7 days of cold weather we have each year. That is the reason I bought it. It looks and feels like it will do the job admirably.

I bought this sweater to wear while playing bagpipes in a pipe band during the colder months. I tried it out a few nights ago and it was great. It kept me plenty warm in 38 degree overcast weather. Very well made item!

Have no uncertainty about the quality of this sweater.

This is an awesome sweater. Very thick and warm, beautiful blue color and it looks good on me. I am very happy with it.

I have been looking for a good quality sweater for a long time in this style as I am a veteran. The sweater is warm and well made. I will be ordering another one real soon.

I still have my commando sweater that was made in England that I bought from Bean in 1989. I've tried the re-editions since but they've never lasted. Until this one. The softness of the wool and the build quality are amazing. Also, I'm sold on the Henley construction more comfortable and easier to put on. Thank you Bean!

As a former Marine and avid outdoorsman, this sweater lives up to its heritage and name. Exceptionally warm and comfortable wool. The fit is close to the body. Not tight but not a bulky mess. Looks both professional and neat with dress pants, but easily fits with a pair of jeans. Perfect Fall/Winter sweater. I purchased the sweater in green to honor its roots, but also purchased in blue. Good stuff.

Being very tall and slender, it's almost impossible to find clothing that has sleeves long enough without also being baggy. The slight taper and sleeve length make this literally perfect for me. I'm so impressed, I purchased a second one.

Bought the tall version, nice warm, great fit nice body and sleeve length. I have a 36" sleeve length and there great. I really recommend this as a warm sweater.

Couldn't ask for a better sweater

A very nice take on the classic military wool sweater. I bought it specifically to use as an under-layer for deer hunting. The fit is pretty true and it is stretchy enough for laying under it. The neck is a little scratchy being that it is wool. But it would work great over a mock or turtle neck for more comfort. Very well made!

I was a little hesitant ordering a British sweater from an American company that is made in China. After getting it, however, I am so happy that I took the risk on this piece of international winter wear. It is tightly knit, heave, and not itchy. I am 6'3" and 224lbs and it fit very well. I ordered the tall size that made the arms wonderfully well-fit, but maybe a little long in the trunk. I think that I would get the regular size and roll the sleeves down if I were to order it again.

Its only been cold enough to wear one day. It was great. For years I waited too long and they were sold out. I"m glad to have purchased it immediately. Steel head fishing I'm ready for the cold.

At 5'9" and 155 lbs with a 42 " chest and 32" waist I debated between the regular medium and the regular large. I went with the large and found it has plenty of room to add a layer or two. the sleeves are long and I need to roll a cuff but this works very well. It is plenty long in the waist which I like. I get cold easily when golfing. This sweater kept me very warm and comfortable on two cold windy days. I think it may do well in the middle of winter but time will tell. there was no restriction of movement and I was able to swing the clubs very well. the quality appears to be excellent and I am happy with the performance so far. Satisfied.

I replaced the same item purchased many years ago. No hesitation in buying exactly the same item even though price has increased. Large / tall is my size.

I bought this in Navy for my husband and he loves it. So do I - it looks great on. Vintage styling, wool with a trim fit through the body and channels that run vertically. Reinforced fabric on elbows and on the shoulders. Generous fit in length, we sized down. He usually wears a Medium, but it was long (and he has a long torso!), but the Small fit better, so we exchanged. Same great quality we always get with LL Bean. He'll have it forever.

Tried it on and it fit perfectly. Quality was excellent and the Graphite color is really nice. It was the only color available in this size when I ordered it and it could not have been a better choice. Loved the look and feel of this sweater. For me it was a great buy and being on sale only made it better.

I bought he original crew neck and found it too have too tight a night and proved too claustrophobic for my taste. This model is IT, love it and I want ANOTHER.

This shirt exceeded my expectations. Well made and very nice looking. Purchased the blue and the color was very rich and vibrant. Love it!

The ribbing makes this a nice fitting sweater and the reinforced patches on the elbows and shoulders will make it wear well for a long time. Bought in dark blue for my husband. It's a flattering fit and look, and he reports it's both comfortable and warm.

This is an extremely comfortable sweater, perfect for active outdoor activities in cooler weathermedium length hikes for example.

This is really nice heavy Henley Sweater, it will sure keep you warm during the winter.
