The basic Allen Edmond belt is a fantastic value. The quality of the leather is the same as the shoes- second to none. The belt is true to size- making size purchase easy to follow. Overall- an excellent value.

Versatile belt for dress pants and suits. I have this belt in black and walnut brown - they both are smooth leather and comfortable.

With all the colors offered, you can find a belt to fill your need. I like this slightly wider belt as it fills the belt loops better. I like the brushed buckle and double keepers.

As a very frequent traveler (millions of miles) I select many of my clothes so that they can be TSA friendly and pass the dozens of security checkpoints we traverse. Your belts are outstanding in that they do not generally set off the machines. Recently had to take the belt off (because of an officious TSA agent), and ended up forgetting the belt at the TSA checkpoint. When I realized that I did not have it, the option to retrieve it was past. As soon as I could access the internet, I ordered a new one online and am back to being a very happy traveller and Allan Edmond fan. And yes, the website was easy to use, the service excellent, the notifications right on, and the product--what counts--was perfect. I only own Allen Edmond belts and shoes. Thanks!

This belt is only my second leather and it really shines. The buckle has a certain heft to it that reeks of quality while the calfskin is quite thick and is resistant to developing creases from wear.

I never understood a difference between belts till I bought this one. I bought it to get a good color match to my Strands and couldn't be happier. The best is incredibly supple, good looking and sturdy. After over a year of wearing it several times a week, you'd have to look hard to see which hole I typically use. The leather is of fantastic quality that always returns to its original shape and always looks fantastic. I measure all other belts to this one.

The most versatile belt to own. Thew classic style buckle is simple and elegant. The wide basic belt works well with suits to jeans.

I compared belts from three other well known shoe/belt companies before I bought from Allen Edmonds. Quality, price and country of origin played a part in my decision. Allen Edmonds proved to be the best choice. I take pride and try to buy Made in USA.

Bought this belt for son's Christmas 2010. Returned because found a better priced belt that was reversible with black/brown colors. The belt was very nice and would be great for suits that need this leather quality.

Wow! I needed a dark brown belt to match a pair of dark brown shoes. I have been through five other brands, and either the dark brown wasn't really dark, or the belt was cheaply made (or both). This belt is clearly high quality, and the color is as dark as I needed. This is indeed wide for a dress belt, but not too wide. I would not want to go any larger for dress or suit trousers. If you're looking for a wide belt for jeans, this is not wide enough, and it's too dressy for jeans anyway. I'm so pleased with this belt I am ordering a few more in different colors.

This is my third belt from Alan Edmunds. They wear well and look nice no matter what type of pants I'm wearing. Recommend this belt

Nice belt, but... I ordered the WIDE BASIC SUEDE DRESS BELT in snuff suede. I figured it would match my snuff suede Strands. It's a nice belt, but it seems to be made from a different leather than the shoes. I thought about returning it, but, as I said, it's a nice belt.

For a size 54 belt clearly needed on a BIG man, the belt is a bit too thin to have the strength necessary to hold its shape and look over time. It needs to be a bit thicker to retain its strength and suppleness. Otherwise, the hardware and stitching are excellent.

Though this years wide basic belt is a bit thinner and more supple than the one I got last year the quality, material and finish are consistently impeccable. Being a big guy this is a perfect everyday belt.

The belt IRL has a much more shiny finish than what is pictured. Nice belt but a bit too glossy versus the picture.

I purchased this belt for my husband to wear to work. It is a nice belt, however it is more of a casual Friday belt than a dress belt. Also, the price tag on the belt is $98 and I paid $110 on Zappos. I returned it for something a little dressier and on sale.

This belt is worth the money. Quality construction, and great color (as others have said).

Perfectly nice belt. Not too flashy, a little small to size (or my waist is a bit larger than I thought). I wish the color were a little bit darker brown, but the picture is more or less accurate.

The belt itself is fine, but I followed their advice and ordered 2" up from pant size--it fits using the very last hole; all the others are too loose.
