Belt didn't hold up. The black looked like it as painted on. It was a gift and I'm embarrassed that this expensive belt didn't hold up any better than a $25.00 belt.

This belt starts wearing out within 2 weeks. I have already started to notice that some of the brown coloring is wearing off and can see the lighter brown underneath. I am disappointed, as this is a lot to spend on a belt to show visible wear within a couple of weeks. I guess I will go back to the higher-quality Cole Haan belts. At least I gave Allen Edmonds a try!

I like the belt (color, width, look), but like a few other reviews it shows scratched very easily. I bought this to wear with a suit, but after some wear, it is more casual because of the scratches. I would expect more from AE. I have much less expensive belts that look better that are several years old and have been worn often. FYI - I have 6-8 pairs of AE shoes and love them all.
