I AM HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE. THE SHOES FIT ME WELL AND ARE ATTRACTIVE. I HAVE PURCHASED CAP TOE BOOTS FROM BEAN FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS. THESE ARE LIGHT WEIGHT AND COMFORTABLE FOR WALKING. I WEAR THEM WHEN RIDING MY MOTORCYCLES. I PURCHASED A SIZE 7&1/2D.

Well made boot with good support and comfort. Tried the more expensive model with the lining and they were not as comfortable.

Got these for my husband for Christmas & he LOVES them! As ALWAYS Bean makes the best items using the best materials.

I've worn these every workday and many weekends over the past year. They are a superior value and wear better than similar, more expensive boots. I'm bummed that they are no longer available in my size! I'm off the get them resoled.

Finest boots I've ever owned. I did not buy them as 'work boots', but rather as a 'good-looking' boot that I could wear casually during the fall, winter, and spring. The leather is amazing. The construction is top rate, the fit is perfect. I often get remarks and questions about these boots. Probably one of the most satisfying on-line purchases I've made in a long time!

Nice boots, good for everyday casual use. A bit more industrial looking than expected but they look nice when wearing them. For most LL Bean boots I have to order a size smaller than I usually wear, same for these. I already figured that when I bought them so they fit just fine ordering a smaller size.

Prefer the leather sole that was on the old ironworks boot

Bought these recently and they are very comfortable. The sizing seems to run big. I am an 11 or 11.5 in many other shoes, but had to get these in a 10.5. The information that comes with them, especially regarding the Vibram sole, states that they are a casual boot. The tag attached to the boots states the Vibram sole is a NewFlex sole which has a softer rubber designed for comfort. This means it will wear down faster than other soles with a harder rubber. Do not buy this expecting a work boot or hiking boot though, they are not made for that purpose. It's a great casual "lifestyle" boot and is very comfortable.

I have prosthetic feet, so I was concerned about the sizing. Low and behold: these are sized perfectly, look stylish, and are much easier to put on when compared to the sneakers I usually put on my "feet." They're comfortable, easy to move around in, and look extremely durable, so I am excited to see how long they last.

After buying earthkeeprs annually I moved on to these and am so glad I did . The wides were perfect and there was never a point in the break in period did my feet feel uncomfortable. Hit w/ beeswax and 3 months later they look new , winters here in Buffalo are rediculios and I have since bought a second pair specifically for work . I don't see these needing annual replacements btw like e.keepers .

Haven't bought leather boots in a while and so far these are exactly what I wanted. Simple, classic cut and style, excellent price. Love the vintage eyelets and cap toe style. Vibram sole and real stitching. The boot doesn't have any liningjust the suede side of the leatherso keep that in mind RE warmth, but the insoles are modern and comfortable. I'm 6'3" and typically a size 12, but I ended up with 11.5 and they fit great. After a couple weeks of wear, I cleaned and oiled them with some dubbin and I really like the darker oil finish. They were pretty soft out of the box, but the oil conditioning should help mold to my feet and soften them more.

My husband loves these boots. He normally wears a 15, but it's tricky to find his size, so we opted for 14 and there's plenty of room at the toe end of the boots. Great quality, clearly super well made.

Looking for a long time for a reasonable price good looking boot to fit . 12 wide. Found it. Tried my other brands too many to mention All sent back. Not this pair. Thinking about changing the laces?

I got this boot at the recommendation of Reddit for a boot for wide feet and it did not disappoint. There is an initial break in period for stiffness but once you get past that, it's smooth sailing. These will be my everyday fall / winter boots!

The quality and fit are exactly what I was hoping for.

8 years I've been wearing my bucksports to work from November to April.. I'm a builder. Since they were in good shape, but no tread was remaining, after 4 years I took them to a local cobbler and had new vibram lugs soles installed. I saw the new ones didn't have the lace hooks so I figured I'd take them back to the cobbler and see if he would do a "service life extension" again. He could and did. I also had Bean boots for 20 years, getting them to sew new rubber on every few years.

I bought this for my son who is a mechanic...he said they are perfect.....he even wore them fishing last weekend and said he can verify they are waterproof...lol...he wants another pair for Christmas.

This my second pair of Bucksport Work Boots with cap toe. These are very comfortable boots. For waterproof boots they seem to remain cool. Are they truly waterproof? To some degree yes. I would not work in water all day with them though. Really like the removable inner soles. I have worn these daily for months. Really like theses boots. Note: I did change change the flat laces to round laces, so much easier to unlace at the end of the day.
