Just received a couple of days ago. Initial thoughts, very comfortable, hardly any breaking in needed, light weight and really good looking boots. The leather feels great as well. If it will let me I'll write a more complete review. But so far very content with the boots. Main use daily wear office/ warehouse/ weekends.

Nice fit and looks great. I hope they hold up after having worn them for a while.

Really like this boots ..... BUT ---> do ourself a favor and get round laces for ease of unlacing at the end of the day. (48") Although a Vibram sole, one can work a long day on hard surfaces.

A lightweight and extremely comfortable boot. Please note that this boot is not safety toed.

I got these in EE after Iron Rangers were too narrow. They're such beautiful boots, the fit is great and they need minimal breaking in straight out of the box.

So far so good. Very comfortable with little break in time. Great soles, great laces. I am really hard on boots. So glad I found these boots!

Runs big, usually wear a 12 but size 11 fit best. Took a while to break in the high ankle but other than that, it's a great boot.

Love these boots. I get why the laces have to be so long-no big deal. With eyelets to the top, you would have to relace them constantly if they were shorter. These vibram soles don't seem as hard and rigid. Feels great! Hope they last as long.

Take a little time to break in, but good boots do. The look and feel is great. I think these are my favorites.

I ordered these after seeing the Katahdin engineer boots are out of production. Those were great boots, but so are these. Comfortable fit, rugged vibram sole, handsome distressed leather, great price point. Well done Bean.

I have a wide foot and it usually takes me a long time to break in a pair of boots. After a few weeks of wearing they feel completely broken in from heal to toe. I would buy again for sure. They feel well made and I believe they will last a long time.

This boot is very comfortable I wear them everyday to work (truck driver) and out on the weekends they truly do look better with age! these were given to me by my sister for Christmas and I can't overstate how much I enjoy wearing them they feel very high quality with a better insole than any other boot I've ever worn this is my first ll bean product I've tried and I love it, on the outside they feel so soft yet durable and on the inside there isn't a liner and for some reason that makes me like it more because it's different and very comfortable I really like everything about this boot I wear these every season except winter, the vibram sole! the Goodyear welt! The more I learn about this boot the more there is to love, high quality boot!

Took 2 weeks to break in and get comfy but otherwise a quality boot. ***this is not a construction boot, it's for show fyi.

Excellent quality boots. They are a little narrow at the toe. I have arthritis in both big toes. My normal size 12 in LL Bean boots was too tight in the toes for my comfort. So I returned them. I might try a wide version when available because I liked the boot itself so much.

Very comfortable from the the moment I put them on.

Perfect fall boots. For men and women. Classic style. I tried the womens version of these, which were flimsy and I think trying to be fashioable, but were basically useless. These are sturdy and classic. Would be nice if they came in black, too.

Wonderful boot, and a surprise since there were no reviews. I went down 1/2 size from normal and love the fit. Well made, quality stitching, Vibram sole. The toe cap isn't too large, looks great. Took a few days and a couple blisters to break in, but now I'm working in them (construction, landscaping, gardening), and they've become my motorcycle boot as well. Super happy with these!

Great support, comfortable footbed. EE comfortably accommodates wide feet. Great looking and leather looks great after use.

Good looking leather boot, true to size. Took about a weekend of walking to break in and now feels great.

Was bought for commuting to work which involves train and walking and different kinds of weather. So far is meeting my needs.

This boot is true to size, initially I ordered a 10 Wide even though I am normally a 9.5 Wide and it was too big. Sent it back and ordered a 9.5 Wide and received it under a week even though it was the Christmas holiday season! The outer leather is soft to the touch, but the top part of the boot (collar?) on both feet were digging into my leg for at least four to five days and despite wearing thick socks bruised it. The tongue did not stay in its position when pulled tight but eventually after wear, I could wear them without pain. The pull loop could be a bit bigger as the way they are designed, they don't serve their function and assist when pulling the boots on. There has been some fraying of the laces already, which are quite long. I am hoping to get at least one season's use out of them before With that said, the boots are now comfortable and a good replacement for my Blundstone Chelseas of four years.

I bought this boots probably a year ago I wore them couple time,and didn't fit right,I put them away didn't have the time braking in,this November 2025 i took out of my closet and yes as the other comment here,the heel are too loose,feel weird..they're practically new don't know if there's some way exchange or return them.

True to size. The boots look and feel great on my feet.

These are beautiful boots. The style, the leather, and the color are all great. The build quality is what one expects from LL Bean Unfortunately for me, the fit just isn't right. The toe box is just a little tight and the heel is just a little loose. I didn't want to go with a wide for fear of an even looser heel. Thankfully, the return process is very easy. While I am disappointed in these boots, I will continue to be a loyal LL Bean customer

Got a half size smaller and seemed like a good fit. Would've have kept them but didn't have the time for break in, so ultimately went with a danner
