Very disappointed. This boot had minimal support from the beginning and broke down quickly. I wanted an unlined non-waterproof boot for the summer. Used in and around construction site but as a PM as opposed to a mason or framer. Tread disappeared early on. Thought it could be sent back and resoled. Loyal fan since the 80s. Sorry this is a throwaway at roughly a year.

The quality of the materials seem good but the construction seems a little off. The left boot has a weird seam at the bottom of the tongue that rubs the top of my foot raw. I thought they would break in but it's been months of pain. The right boot feels great.

Seems like a well crafted boot. However after less than 3 weeks of wearing, the leather is chipped and peeling. A little disappointed.

I like the boot. It is comfortable right out of the box except. Because the inside is rough leather they tend to eat your socks. I had to put a smooth piece of leather in back of the heel and on the tongue. Much better now.

Couldn't get the better of the two bucksports because they have been out of stock for a year. So I got the cheaper version and my feet are paying for it. They are not happy feet

I was hoping this shoes will keep my feet warm but not at all, the confort is not the best either, too expensive for this type of quality.

These are beautiful boots. Unfortunately, they don't fit my heel. It pulls out when I walk and that's not a good fit. I had to return them. The shoelaces are also too skinny for my taste and waaay too long.

Sizing it's so off. Definitely do not purchase it online. Try it in the store and the buy it.

Contacted customer service, they required that I return the boots, and did not send out a replacement. They DEDUCTED THE COST TO RETURN THE DEFECTIVE BOOTS from my refund. I am beyond frustrated with the horrible service. And even if I wanted to get a replacement I'd have to buy them again and the price is up $50 more than I paid initially? HOW is this a reasonable policy? CAVEAT EMPTOR - do not recommend this boot NOR do I recommend this company.

I saved $25 by ordering the cap toe boot, which, unlike a similar boot, comes without the padding around the top. I regret not spending the extra $25; just above my ankle is getting chaffed raw with painful, bloody blisters. Maybe it will get better after breaking them in, but over the week, I have walked several miles and it is just getting worse.

I got these as a gift and while they do look great, the construction of the insole is pretty weird. Portions separate around the heel leaving others to push up against my foot in a very weird way. I thought maybe it was just some break in and gave them a chance, but they remained uncomfortable so I'll be sending them back.

Bought these because they looked great and LL Bean typically has high quality stuff. I'm actually only on the website now because I wanted to see if they were made of real leather because the quality is so low I thought maybe it was pleather. The Vibram soles are not the durable work boot Vibram soles I'm familiar with, but a foam rubber feeling sole that wore down incredibly quickly. My brother and I both bought them and were both disappointed and had the same experience. However, we were treating them like work boots and hiking boots. If you're buying strictly for casual wear and fashion, then they are great.

I'm a FedEx delivery driver and I purchased these boots for work. They were just what I was looking for, Goodyear welted with an unlined interior. They were comfortable from day 1. However 3 weeks into wearing they the stitching started to come apart both the upper and the toe cap. My local brick and mortar gladly exchanged them. The only problem is that now they are on a 2 month back order. Hopefully the quality control on the new pair is better. I'm expecting more from a legendary company like LL Bean

Very tight boots and stiff leather. I ordered a half size up and still too tight. Hard to break in. Disappointed in this product.

on the THIRD day of wearing these, the sole stitching started to pop out! This is the 3rd return I've had to do with boots from LLbean

Heel cups and inside soles caused bruises and blisters on both feet to bleed after 1 day of use. Do not buy these.

I received these as a gift for Christmas of 2024. I wear them to work, which is indoors. Simply from 9 months of walking from my parking garage and walking inside my office, the sole tread is almost completely gone. I suspect the sole itself will be worn through soon. $200 boots should absolutely last for more than one year of gentle use.

These are the worst boots I've ever owned. laces ripped within a few months of casual wearing (1-2 times a week)

i used to always get these boots when Chippewa made them and was always impressed. things have changed: my most recent purchase a few months ago, the waxed laces on both shoes snapped within a week - i drove to the flagship store assuming they would replace or have alternates to purchaseneither was the case. so i bought another kind of boot lace. within the month, the rivets started to come undone and i went to return. due to not having the original hardware (laces), i was refused a return. never buying again.
