We ordered these because my husband was desperate for a new pair of slippers and he really likes the ones with sherpa lining. The ones with actual soles were out of stock so I ordered these thinking for the price they should last a couple of years. Well...it has been 4 months and he has worn holes in the soles. He is retired so he wears these everyday. I'm not happy at all with the Quantity of these but have noticed in recent years that the quality of LL Bean products has dropped. I don't know what to do because Bean is the only place that carries the kind of slippers that my husband likes but not if I have to buy a new pair every 4 months. Ironically, the insides are fine.

The slipper is very nice looking, and warm.
However, I wear a 10.5 shoe but these slippers only are available in 10 (44) or 11(45) - I messaged customer service and the person suggested I size up to the 11 (45).
I received my order and the slipper was looser then I expected, and in retrospect should have ordered the 10 (44) but I was going to settle and wear a sock.
However, the most concerning problem that makes these slippers unsafe for me is the slippers do not lay flat onto the ground but angle outward (encouraging you toward a future sprained ankle).
I actually tripped today, so I am returning them for safety reasons.

THE SLIPPERS ARE TOO SMALL! .... Last years Review Had No Effect On A MANUFACTURER CHANGE.
FROM INSIDE SOLE TO INSIDE TOP OF THE EXPENSIVE SLIPPERS.
THE INSIDE DEPTH IS AT "LEAST" ONE INCH TO SHALLOW FOR MY HIGH ARCH.
I will be returning them.

I purchased a pair of these slippers years ago when available in women's sizes. I've loved them but after years and years of daily wear, they are at life's end. I am disappointed that they are no longer available in women's sizes. Please bring back smaller sizes! My rating really should be a 5 but now that I am hooked on them and they are no longer available to me, I had to give a 1.

These slippers should be shipped with a warning label about how slippery the soles are. The soles are beautiful polished leather, they look wonderful. But until they get roughed up a bit they are like walking on ice. I had to hang on for deal life when I first tried them on. I suppose I should have taken some sandpaper to the soles and they would have been okay. But who wants to do that to beautiful leather. I do not understand the logic of designing a shoe that way, I have had many leather soled shoes but nothing like this. So I returned it for a slipper with a more practical (read rubber) sole.
