These slippers are super comfortable. They fit a bit small and I ordered a 10. My normal shoe size is a 9 1/2. The only caution I have is they are slippery on wet grass or smooth concrete etc. The bottoms are durable but very smooth. This is my second pair and they won't be my last.

Great slipper. I have been wearing these for years and get a new pair about every 15 months. Very comfortable. The soles do wear through - I often wear them for quick trip outside - but that's not due to a defect in the shoe, just my use of them. I would love to see LL Bean add a layer of woven kevlar or similar material between the two sole layers for extra wear, as long as it doesn't effect flexibility.

Truly well made and durable. Epitome of Love my slippers! Drawback; price, last pair we bought was $20.00 less.

The slippers are very comfortable. They do not have much of a arch. Also, the lining is a little warm to my liking. Overall though, they are a good fit and good buy.

Beautiful!! Warm slippers. Appears to be top quality too. To soon to comment on durability, time will tell. I did order 1 size up tho because I wear med-heavy warm socks with them and they are a perfect fit. I have problems with cold feet so I also have less expensive llbean slippers when temps are above 32. Only gave 4 stars because its a newer purchase but I'am totally happy with this purchase and know that llbean will take care of me in the event something is not right which helps to justify the more expensive price on these slippers....If I'am Happy, its worth it!

Beautiful leather and design. Just started weather them...right now enjoying the wonderful feel of the shearling a. WISH bottom was removable /replaceable since that tends to be the part of shearling slippers that goes first. So far, a happy customer!

Should have looked more closely but this slipper has no grip on sole. That is the only reasons for low score. Slipper is well made, warm, nice looking but why no grip? Dangerous.

Slick!!! The bottom is very slick. My husband is afraid he will fall. Don't know why LLBean made them like they did. They should have put the same leather on the bottom that's on the top & sides.

I bought these about 5 years ago for my husband for Christmas and he has loved wearing them. I chose the leather sole and he has never worn them anywhere but on our hardwood floor. So it's disappointing that after 5 years of seasonal use, they have developed holes in the soles. And of course now LL Bean doesn't repair their goods anymore

This was a gift which was exchanged as the person was concerned about how slippery the sole was. So good looking slipper but too slick!

The slipper fit tighter than I expected. Stitching on the inside above my toes caused some discomfort. Slippers are getting more comfortable but should have been perfect out of the box!

Narrow. Need to be wider. Had them for several weeks; not stretched out a bit.

This appears to be a beautiful, well made slipper however it is extremely slippery when walking. Even on carpet or hardwood floors it is like walking on ice. They should have some type of rougher bottom or non-slip areas. The bottom is a continuation of the slipper. The leather just wraps around.

Average Slipper. One needs to order 1-1/2 to 2 sizes larger than what they normally wear. Disappointing.

This item has limitations. The sole get dirty quick and retains dirt. When wet, it spreads dirt on floors. As I said earlier, size is a problem when it comes to width. Would not buy again.

these are sumptuous, exquisite feeling slippers....but once I put on a pair of sock, toooo tight all the way around. Also, I didn't like the very smooth sole....perfect for slipping on anything....they should have a different, more practical sole.

I had a pair of these slippers years ago and really loved them. I have always wanted to replace them. Finally, there was a sale and the price was right so I bought them. Unfortunately, they are a little snug in fit (maybe because of the furry lining) and the bottoms are high polished/buffed leather. When I tried them on and walked I slipped and slid on the wood floor and the rugs. It was like I was ice skating. I don't remember having that problem in the past. Because of the snug fit and, primarily, because of the slippery leather bottoms I am returning them. I am very disappointed because I once loved the slippers.

My shoe size hasn't changed in 40 years. Most shoe sizes vary depending on manufacturer, so I always try on the shoes before I buy a pair. In an attempt to err on the side of caution, I ordered one size larger than I typically wear. I've never bought a size 14 in my life and these mocs were too small. Perhaps it is the lack of accounting for the massive amount of shearling fur on the inside, but these mocs are very constricting to the feet and as everyone knows, you need circulation to keep your feet warm. It could be inconsistency in the manufacturing or miscalculation of the sizing, but you've been warned. I do not think I would order two sizes too big.

Very nice looking slippers but the slippery leather bottoms need to be scuffed up or they are a slipping hazard. These soles aren't just slippery, they are thin. My son wore his inside the house on chilly Southern California mornings and still wore a hole through the bottom. To my disappointment, he didn't tell me in time to have them replaced. He'd probably like another pair but I think he should find something more durable. If they had lasted longer, I would have rated them 5 stars because they do look nice and held up well but for the soles.

These moccasins are a great product. I've owned scuffs from LL Bean for many years, and I wanted to try out the moccasins for a change. They fit superbly and are very comfortable. Now here's the reason for the two stars. Delivery was subpar. Firstly, there was a back order, which I understand can happen during the holiday season. When I did receive an email about the delivery date, it was incorrect. There were two dates I was receiving, one from LL Bean and the other from UPS. LL Bean was telling they were coming in sooner than what UPS was telling me. The good thing is they came in two days early, but the bad thing is UPS dropped them off at the vacant house next door. I was lucky enough that porch pirates didn't get to them first. My experience was it was worth the month long wait to receive these little gems, but I just with the correspondence between LL Bean and UPS were in better terms.

The slippers 5 stars; the sole 1 star, too slippery. I bought these for an uncle age 70+, he said he would be afraid to wear them for fear of falling.

Slipper has a tight fit. bottom exterior very smooth on rugs. Had to purchase soles to provide traction on rugs and floor. This this could be a problem for older customers.

Attractive, but the bottom of the slipper was so slippery that I was concerned about traction. I put them on and walked across the carpet and slid twice. Sent them back. These need some kind of tread to make them safe.
