I have been wearing the double-soled, shearling-lined moccasins for the past 30 years (4 pair). Family has tried to get me to wear other but NOTHING beats LL Bean. Always comfortable, always warm. True to size and width. Love 'em. Keep up the good work. I'll need another pair in about 7-10 years.

I bought these to replace a 10 year old pair of Bean shearling lined, double sole, leather slippers. The bison leather slippers are very comfortable, warm, and are of the same high quality as my old slippers. Since half sizes are not offered, I purchased size 10. Fits well.

These puppies replaced my 5 year old UGG,s after one day of wearing them they fit like a glove. Soft, comfortable and they look great, very well made. Looking forward to a lot of years of comfort.

I have worn these slippers for years and just purchased my 4th pair. I even wear them outdoors at times and am amazed at how well they hold up. Warm, comfortable and not slippery on our hardwood floors. When I say I wear them - I'm talking 6-8 hours a day!

Outstanding quality. There is nothing quite like new leather smell. I normally wear an 8.5 Wide and I ordered a size 9. The fit is perfect--snug, as stated in the packaging. I am pleased with the cushion from the lining. I spend a fair amount of time in a cooler office at home. We don't wear shoes in the house and my feet have been getting cold. I have been pining for these slippers since winter started. I am sure these will fit the bill.

I bought the first pair of these for my husband who insisted on getting a size 10 regardless of wearing a size 9 boot because as he stated the shearling lining would make them too tight. He is right to a point. Any good leather shoe has to be broken in and it does not take a lot of time, especially with these slippers. The shearling will start to lay down and loosen up the slipper after wearing them 6-8 times. I am back for more. The original pair are now very sloppy on his foot. With daily wear the slippers are still in very good shape, but if he had to run in them he would be hooped. I lost the battle on the 2nd pair of shearling (he wanted the 10) but I got him a size 9 unlined. He likes them, (go figure) he just does not like having to break in anything for his feet including socks! Now if LL Bean would make the exact slipper lined and unlined in women's sizes, I would buy both for myself and the shearling for everyone I consider a true friend. Well made, great choice of leather, just be aware the shearling has to lay down. If you do not want to wait, wear them outside during the next rainstorm and keep them on or spray them with water and leave them on your feet. They will feel like a warm fuzzy second skin when they dry. I would not hesitate recommending these slippers to anyone but I would order them in your regular boot size with the knowledge there is a short break in period due to the shearling lining. Order your size for the unlined. It won't be long before you don't realize you have them on, they are that comfortable.

My husband loves these slippers. I purchased him a pair several years ago and he asked for a new pair this year. They are comfortable and long lasting.

Every Christmas this is a gift for my husband. He usually has his last year slippers that are fine but he asks for them each year. Comfort, fit and warmth are all important to him

i always have cold feet. very happy with the new slippers. the lining is great. the product is totally top notch. i had my last pair for 3 years and wear them daily in the winter. the wool began to smell and bunch under my toes. but that was 3 years of heavy wear. i was super happy. no-- they are not a lifelong pair of slippers, but as good as you can find. no quality issues with leather or anything else. it is a strong rating of 5 even with the smell and wear on the wool. i don't grade lightly either.

This is my second pair of these slippers from LL Bean. I'm almost embarrassed to say how long I had my first pair. I actually wore them out at the bottom - but from the outside. My latest pair is a couple years old already. That is far from new, but I honestly don't spend a whole lot of time wearing them, and never when running a marathon! The inside shearling lining started wearing out much faster than my first pair, exposing the leather. With the leather exposed, it induces sweating instead of pure comfort. I was about to toss them, but found a very affordable fleece insert from another retailer that gave them new life! As you can see in the image, the outside still looks like new. I still recommend them, but they are just not as good as the previous version of the "same" item.

My husband has a couple of different style lined slippers. He says these are definitely his fav!

I have enjoyed these more than I expected. I normally wear a wide shoe but these are fine.

My husband always wears slippers or gym shoes in our tv room. He must move his feet around when relaxinghe has rubbed a hole in the wool carpet and ruined it. The carpet company said most shoes and slippers these days have rubber soles which ruin carpets. They suggested slippers with a leather sole, but said they were hard to find. Bingo, I ordered these for Christmas, he loves them! They are comfortable, do not slip, and protect the new carpet!

They keep coming untied. I love them but the raw hide straps keep coming undone. Other than that they are awesome!

I'm happy with the purchase. I have one issue but I haven't contacted L.L.Bean about it. The rawhide lace on the right shoe rubs a particular spot on the top of my foot. It isn't as uncomfortable when I wear socks.

Very slippery, as they warn, but the surface should be roughed or a thin surface on sole so they aren't so dangerous. Also could use and insert for a little cushioning. The leather is outstanding, very sturdy and well made.

Have worn these for decades. And upon wearing through the current pair, which have been resoled for 'outside wear', their replacement is THE BEST !

My son loves these slippers. He usually gets about 10 years use out of a pair and he wears them every morning and evening.

These slippers were a Christmas gift to my son 5 years ago. His go to footwear when home, loves them. He asked for them for Christmas this year because his first pair was finally starting to breakdown. He loves the quality and comfort of these slippers and I will guess he will be wearing these LLBean slippers as long as they make them. Expensive but worth every dollar.

Beautiful. Length perfect for size but a bit narrow for a man's foot. Hoping leather will stretch or will need to return. Like to wear with thicker socks but don't see that happening if they don't loosen up a bit.
