They are and seems well made but they are too narrow with no way to adjust the size like normal mocs, a waste of money. the sizer on this site said to get a 7 so I got an 8, how small would a 7 be if I cant even get an 8 on. Go to Menetonka for your mocs.

The slippers were quite stiff. I tried walking on bedroom carpet and found it uncomfortable.

Absolutely beautifully made but not even close to the correct size. I normally wear a size 10 which I first ordered but were too big. I exchanged those for a size 9 which were still too big, I would step right out of them. I wanted these shoes to fit so badly as they're beautifully made. But I guess it does not matter how nice they are if the sizing is this far off.

I bought these slippers for my hunsband for Christmas but unfortunately we had to return them. My husband tried them on adn it was so slippery, he almost fell in the living room. Something should be done about the sole. The upper leather is beautiful, but since you cannot wear them, it doesn't make any difference. Sad that he couldn't wear them.

If the Mocs are a bit big, you can adjust the fit with the rawhide laces. But the laces are routed under the tongue and rub on the top of your foot. The Moc need to be redesigned, with more care to the upper part of the shoe to avoid rough spots on the top of the foot, from the laces and from the sewing at the seams.

These slippers are extremely comfortable and, for the most part, well made with the exception of the soles. The soles are made from very thin/soft leather which is the disappointingly weak link in this product. The slippers are advertised as having "double soles" which implies two layers of leather, this is not the case. Rather, they have one very thin, single layer of leather. My slippers are not even two years old and a hole has already developed at the ball of the foot and another is about to break through at the toes. I don't mind paying $120 for a pair of slippers if they endure four or five years of light use, but two years is unacceptable. The soles should be fabricated from a heavier section of hide (i.e. at least an eighth of an inch thick) so as to address the higher wear experienced by the sole. Such a sole would better complement the higher quality uppers in these shoes. The the less than adequate sole design is not in keeping with the LL Bean quality I have been accustomed to. Therefore, I will not buy another pair.

I bought these in 2018 before the return policy changed. I only wear them in the warmer months since I also bought the sheepskin-lined version for cold weather wear. Last year, they started to wear through. Given I only wear these about 5 months a year, they had less than 3 years' wear on them! I would expect a much longer life for the price.

This is my third pair. My first pair lasted forever. The second pair barely lasted a year before the sole wore thru. I would expect better for what they cost. We'll see how this pair does.

The first pair I bought of these slippers lasted more than 20 years. After two years these have a tear in the leather below the top stitching. There is no recourse available after one year.....told to take them to a local shoe maker if I can find one...Quality is disappointing for the price

I received these a year ago (in January 2020) for my birthday. I have worn these shoes every day since. Initially, and for about 9 months, they were a 5* item for me.. It is only in the last 3 months this product has broken down. I would rate higher, but with the return policy, and me receiving them as a gift, I don't believe I can replace. This is an item I would purchase again, but if I get a second pair, I might glue a pad of Vibram sole where the heel is and another in the midsole and toe area. This small change would likely make these slippers a favorite for years - as the Vibram can always be replaced as needed. It would definitely make them a 5* LL Bean item for me at that point, and I would have no issues changing this review or giving a new review.

Based on the online description, I expected an all leather product. It was not. Inside the slipper are some high density foam parts on either side of the leather bottom. I did not like the feel of that against my bare skin. I have to say that aside from that, the slipper construction and finish was excellent. However, I returned it due to the above.

I have had many LL Bean slippers / moccasins before. Seems like the materials are getting lighter and cheaper. The liner feels like plastic and the arch non existent. You don't seem to carry any more the last pair I bought from you. They were moccasin all leather with a light rubber Vibram sole, no raw hide tie, with a slightly padded soft leather stitched inner sole and arch. I still have them.

Just look at the pictures, this is after maybe one hour of wear. The bottom looks like it did when I opened the box; the inside is rolling up. Not really stitched to the sole, only glued. I didn't want to leave two bad reviews for one product but I couldn't edit my previous review and add pictures. These are being returned and I'm replacing with the Shearling lined slippers.

I have owned a pair of LLB moose hide slippers for years. But they are showing their age so I thought I would replace them with these. The new ones have no rubber sole on the bottom, only leather - making them extremely slippery on flooring. The new ones are also very rigid leather, unlike the old ones that are soft and supple from the start and get better with age. I hope LLB will reintroduce the old version!

I have been wearing LL Bean slippers for 20 or more years. My favorites where the moose leather with rubber soles - but I digress. The last pair was the bison double leather sole. My wife gave me a pair last Christmas and they already have have holes worn in the sole. Maybe I need to look for another (more rugged) style. Still, for over $100 a pair, I would expect to get more than a year of wear from them.

Loved the materials and construction of the slippers. Unfortunately the toe box was "flat" meaning it rubbed the top of my big toe causeing a blister. Additionally the lace that runs thru the tongue cut into the top of both feet, really painful. I returned these, just wish they were a little more roomy in the toe box. Also tried a larger size but it was too large.

I purchased these moccasins for my father to wear in his home. He only wears them in winter and has never worn them outside. he had always wanted a pair of these, and I thought it would be an excellent Christmas present. I fully expected them to last for the rest of his life as he was 83 years old when I gave them to him. However, less than two years later, they have holes in the soles. He has never worn them outside in his home has oriental rugs over hardwoods. I am incredibly disappointed in the quality of these moccasins.

My husband reached out to LL Bean to confirm sizing and they said it runs just like the shearling lined slippers which he's had at least two pairs over the years. We waited for the backorder to ship and it finally came - only to find out it is HUGE - no way it fits any where close to the lined slipped. Had to pay to ship it back which is a huge frustration. Ordered the next size down - only to find out it is on backorder now till March so we gave up and canceled the order. The return shipping charge still has us frustrated - as they should not have charged that for an exchange. We might be done with LL Bean which is a shame as we've bought a lot over the years there.

These slippers were a Christmas gift for our son. They were so narrow he couldn't begin to get his foot in them. I don't know if the sole was slippery but they sure did look it. The box said Men but we wondered if they were for women. He returned them and got a different style.

I had to return these. They are extremely slippery on both hardwood and carpet - to the point that I felt unsafe wearing them. Definitely not for a senior citizen!
