This pair did not last through its second winter. One slipper is coming apart at the seam between upper and sole after the stitching wore through and broke. No warranty is offered. My first pair lasted several years.

These slippers have one flaw: the stiching for the soles. The stiching pretty much touches the floor and eventually they rip open and the sole comes off. This is my first pair and it is just getting ready to fail. My wife has gone through 2 or 3 pairs of these and her current pair is flying apart. We aren't going to ever buy tbese again. Very poor design.

Will not stay flat. Bottom is not rigid enough. Tends to roll.

I've bought two pairs of these over the past few years. In both cases, the stitching has pulled out within a couple months. I'd hoped the first was a fluke, but with the second pair doing this now, I fear LLBean quality has really gone downhill.

It was noted that initially the slippers might not fit correctly, however, after you wore them for a while they would eventually conform to one's feet. I have been wearing them for a while now (weeks) and they still do not fit properly. The padding on the bottom of the slippers has settled uneven (more on the inside, less on the outside).

I bought these for my dad and he wasn't even able to walk more than a few steps. The way the sole is made on the bottom leaves an uneven surface around the edges. I tried them on thinking it was just his feet and even standing in them my feet would roll to the sides causing my ankles to turn. They need better construction on the bottom so the seams aren't a different level than the main sole.

I bought these for my husband because a few years ago I bought them for my son who bragged how good they were. I ordered my husband a size 12 Wide. He said they felt awkward. As though the sole was made for a Medium width, very narrow. His feet were larger than the sole. I have returned these slippers

I was very disappointed in these slippers. L.L. Bean does a phenomenal job with all of their slippers but this was a miss. I ordered them for their height to cover my ankles since I always get cold feet. I think if the feet were narrower, it would be a much more snug fit. But these are just too loose on my feet. Also, these stain super easily so be sure to spray them with something like scotch guard before you wear them around the house!

I have 3 new pair of these things that I can not wear because of the hard lumps on the inside of the bottom!

I bought a pair of these slippers years ago and they lasted for years. I bought a pair a year ago and they did not last one year. I tried again a month ago. They wore in the insole and sole unevenly in lest than a month. They squeaked when I walked. They were too uncomfortable to wear.

First order of 8D had the right slipper WAY too small to the point of being painful. This order of 9EE had the left slipper WAY too big. My feet are the same 7 1/2 size. The slippers from both orders were mismatched sizes. LL Bean wants me to pay for return shipping when the problem is their non-existent quality control. I will be looking elsewhere for my next pair of slippers.

My spouse gave these to me 2 Christmases ago. In January of this year, the stitching on the left slipper broke causing the sole and upper to seperate. I tried to return them as defective at local LL Bean store. The manager said it was due to the way I walked and wouldn't replace them. I expect more than 13 months use from LL Bean slippers. I've been a loyal customer for nearly 40 years, ALWAYS first checking to see if LL Bean has what I'm looking for. So I'm saddened by this experience because it made me realize LL Bean is now just another store.

Very disappointed. Not up to LL Bean usual quality standards. Ordered up size and they still did not fit. Color was really not as pictured. Material quality is poor. I sent them back.. Was further disappointed that I had to pay for a return that was due to these issues.

LLbean wicked shear slipper is NOT as good as the previous pair I bought in Nov 2017. I bought two pairs in Nov 2018. The first pair I am wearing and rotating with the pair I bought in 2017. The new one had already wore down more the the old pair after three months, the shearling is not as thick and the padding is thinner also. The price for these are much higher than Cabela but the quality is less now. I plan to return the new pairs. Not the quality expected. Here is a picture

No sole or arch support. I thought that they were going to be more comfortable. Disappointed. They are warm though.

I've been very satisfied with two pair of Wicked Good Slippers I bought in the past, one in the 80s and one in the 2000s. Now I'm not just disappointed, I'm shocked that not only when I received a new pair that had a serious defect the replacement pair had the exact same defect. All of the aspects you'd normally think of were fine but in both pair the left foot bed was tilted. While standing the position was very odd and awkward. I loved everything else about them just as I'd loved the earlier decades pairs. Because the earlier decades pairs were so good, and much better than any other slippers I've owned, I've requested L.L. Bean send me one more pair before I give up. But it is still disconcerting that 2 pair in a row came with the exact same defect. If two people out of thousands who bought these slippers received a pair with the same defect and then received normal replacements, I'd consider that normal. It is just possible that only two pair out of thousands had the same defect and by some freakish fluke they both came to me. If the third pair comes this way Bean has a problem with the contracted manufacturer. I've had only good experiences with Bean products for over 35 years and I truly hope this situation was just a fluke.

These are very comfortable slippers, however I noticed after about six hours of wear that the inside of the slipper (presumably the shearling) was leaving my feet and toes discolored and slightly irritated. The coloring from the shearling seems to be rubbing off on my feet. I have not yet been able to get the irritation and discoloration to go away. I have had many LL Bean products that I love, so I am hoping this is an isolated incident.

I bought these slippers for Christmas for my husband. When he tried them on his ankle kept pronating inward. I then had my son try them on (same size) and the same thing happened to him. This slipper needs some type of support (a sole, perhaps) to keep them aligned with the foot. The sole is very narrow and doesn't support the foot. It's also disappointing that I have to pay $9.50 for the return!! Gosh, it just doesn't seem fair :)

These shoes were supposed to be extra wide, the uppers were, but the soles seemed kind of narrow. I'm getting used to way these shoes feel. The only reason these shoes didn't get returned is because they are just house shoes and because of the hassle of paying for shipping. These shoes would not be acceptable if they were intended for taking long walks. It feels almost like I could roll my ankle wearing these.

This is the worst slipper I have ever owned. The problem is that there is an inadequate heel and sole. When walking the foot slides off the base and I end up walking on the side of the slipper rather than the base of the slipper. Sorry, about this. LLBEAN products are usually good.

Bought 12/2014, $79, to replace a pair that had lasted many years. Worn a few seasons in cool weather. Upper-to-sole stitching disintegrated. Returning for a refund.

Poorly constructed. The shearling liner piles up under the middle of your feet and make it uncomfortable to walk. Your feet end up cocking too the side. Very dissatisfied! Will not buy again.

I see that this slipper has great reviews (and a ton of them, no less). But I hated them. They are warm and well constructed but the sole is spongy. If the sole was harder or softer, it probably would have been fine but it was just rubbery enough to continually force my foot to the outside of the slipper. Almost like the shoe wanted to squirt out from under your foot. I felt like I couldn't keep the slipper under my foot and I was always walking on the outside of my foot with the inside of my foot being pushed up. I had to return them.

My new Slippers are 1/4 of an inch shorter than the last pair I bought some years ago. I have always worn a size 10, but the sole on these actually measure shorter than the last pair. They had also been worn before, based the marks on the bottom of one of the slippers. I will wait until I am in Albany, NY next month, and return them where I can try them on and check the condition of what I am buying. Never thought I would have to say that about any ofyour products. I have seen this problem before with other brands, when no one is doing quality checks except the consumer, this is going to happen. I your supplier can reduce the size of a thing by even a small amount and still charge you for the full size they will increase their profit margins, at your expense.

Have bought the Wicked Good Slipper for my husband and adult son for years. This year the slipper had been "cheapened" so much that I returned them. I actually weighed one slipper on my Postal scale and it weighed 1/3rd LESS than his old ones, so it is not my imagination. Additionally, when the slipper is on your foot, your foot does not stay on the footbed...it slips sideways, from side-to-side, onto the floor, becoming a serious slip/fall possibility and is dangerous. I called my son to ask if he felt there was a dramatic difference in the pair I sent him for Christmas. He told me this was also his experience with the new design. He didn't want me to feel bad, so he just kept them...but had almost fallen several times because of the unstable footbed. Unless LL Bean fixes this issue, I will no longer be buying them. I was very disappointed, as LL Bean has always manufactured such quality items.
