My son got these as a Christmas gift. They started tearing after less than a year of light indoor-only use. We had them repaired once when they first ripped and then the rest fell apart soon after. Customer service provided us with zero assistance. You might want to think twice about buying these and about LL Bean's once admired-reputation for quality.

Bought these 2 1/2 years ago to replace a pair that I had worn since 1976. These are nothing like the old pair. At first they were tight and I continued to wear them because it was noted that they would stretch. They did, and they keep on stretching. They have stretched to the point of being unwearable. The fleece inside has also worn off of the footbed in several places.

Way worse than the previous version of these that I had. Couldn't fit my foot into them with the first purchase or with the size-up purchase. New narrow foot base. Bad tag location too now.

I was expecting a footbed with structure. They are completely flat. I have a very high arch so they are not comfortable to stand or walk in. These are more socks than slippers. Very nice warm shearling lined socks, but socks nonetheless. My fault, should have done my research. Should have gone with the boot moc.

These slippers were very comfortable but the soft leather near the sole failed immediately - maybe two weeks of minimal wear before I realized a 3" hole had formed! These slippers look and feel great, but he quality of materials is suspect. I am disappointed.

I've had these for 4 years. I wear them a couple times a week during the winter and strictly indoors so they don't see a lot of use. I love them, they are super comfortable. Unfortunately, because of how they are designed (with the stitching at the bottom of the slipper) the slipper stitching began to wear quickly and finally fell apart. When I bought these from LL Bean I didn't expect any issues, I've purchased a lot of LL Bean in the past. However, customer service told me they couldn't be replaced with another pair. Very disappointing.

I purchased a pair of these slippers back in the early 80's. They lasted for years and I always liked them. I had to install new rawhide that held the top to the bottoms a couple of times but other than that they lasted like iron. I decided to buy a new pair for myself last year and did. They fell apart after less than a year of use. I was quite disappointed! The construction has changed and with the new construction method, I couldn't replace the rawhide lacing as I did on my original pair. I was quite disappointed at how poorly they stood the test of time considering the price. I wouldn't recommend this newest model.

We have purchased these slippers in the past and been very pleased with them. However, this time they weren't sewn correctly. They did not fit correctly. Both toes pointed in opposite directions. As if they were on the wrong feet, but they weren't. Had to return them. Still waiting for a refund.

I purchased these as a replacement for a pair that I bought last year. I wore the original pair for only six months and the stitching one the left slipper tore open. I sent them back and LL Bean did give me a refund. The new replacement pair runs smaller and may tare again therefore I will be sending them back for a refund.

The wicked slipper did not meet anywhere I thought it should be. I received 2 pair and both did not fit. When I put them on and walked around the house it felt awful and it was like I was walking on the side of the slipper sides. Return both pair.

My old pair (size 9, wide EE) were great but our dog chewed them up. Ordered a new pair last July when they were on sale but they were only available in Medium D (too narrow). Sent them back and called LL Bean to ask about wide EE availability. They said they would be making wide EE soon and to keep watching. Six months later, I'm still waiting...

I love the slippers BUT the pair I purchased was poorly made at the sole level. When walking, the soles pronate the foot inward and it is difficult to walk naturally when wearing them. I am 80 and a bit unsteady on my feet. These slippers do not help and I fear tripping or falling. I would like to return them.

I have worn these slippers for over 30 years. No more. :( Do wide sizes really cost your company that much more? Would it help if I bought two pairs at a time? Bring the wide sizes back. Please.

Approximately 1 yr ago, I purchased men's wicked good slippers. The left sole slipped to the right in such a way that I was forced to walk on the right side of the slipper. I thought it was just me. I have purchased this type of slipper for years and never had this happen, but thought it was just a fluke. So, loving the slippers as I do, I bought another pair. Now, the right sole of the slipper is moving towards the left, forcing me to walk on the right side of the slipper. BAD NEWS FOR $100 SLIPPERS. VERY UNHAPPY.

I have had a pair of these slippers for basically my entire adult life (at least 20 years or more). They were the BEST slippers. I decided to get another pair. BIG MISTAKE. These slippers are NOT what they used to be. They do not make the wide size anymore and that is a HUUUUGE problem; unless you have two sticks for feet, these will not fit and the sides of your foot will squeeze out the sides which will likely cause damage to your slipper. In addition, the tag they so delightfully added inside the slipper could not be in a more awful and annoying place. Looks like LL Bean's quality has deteriorated like their return policy.

Please bring back the wide sizing. The suggestion to go up a half size didn't help - still to narrow. Also, within 2 weeks the seems burst on the outside of the right slipper (probably due to being too narrow). The previous version (in half sizes and wide) did not have this problem. They still are amazingly warm and comfortable. I am returning to go up another whole size. But if those don't work, I will have to look elsewhere for my slippers.

I bought these to replace my old pair, and had to return them. The leather is thin, so thin that they don't stand upright properly. I couldn't slip my feet in without sitting down to do it by hand as I would to put on socks. The fleecy wool layer is also much thinner. These are not up to LL Bean quality, and are certainly not worth $95. They were a complete disappointment.

After 20 years faithful service, my husband's Wicked Good slippers in wide width are still in pretty good shape, just the shearling has worn down. What should have been an easy birthday gift replacement has turned into a ridiculous quest to find anything in wide width! My husband loves his old slippers in this style. They are comfortable and warm. We'd really like to replace them but he can't fit his foot into the slipper even when we ordered one size up. Please bring back wide width!

I've been being these for years in size 8W. Now the wide width is gone. I'm going to have to look elsewhere since I don't fit in regular width footwear. BOOOOO!

I got these hoping to replace an old pair that has been well used for many years, but I'm super disappointed by the width and the discontinuation of the Wide width. The sole is practically shaped like a dress shoe with tapered toes, not a comfortable slipper! WIll be returning and looking for options elsewhere.

I love these slippers. Unfortunately they just don't last. Usually the stitching comes out on one of the heals within 6 months. This last pair that I've had for maybe that has totally ripped out on one side, the back on both and another side on the other. Not sure why. I'm assuming they keep using a cheaper distributor. Either way, paying $90 for something that doesn't last is horrible. The bad thing is, I have a hard time finding other slippers that are as comfortable. So like an idiot I'll probably buy these again. Seems I go through about 2 pair a year.

Initially, loved these as they felt exquisitely snug and comfy. However, 2-3 weeks out, a seam in the left slipper started to go. I exchanged them for a new pair. The second pair felt equally good - but the same seam on the left slipper also started to tear. I would have mended these myself, but the rip was near the balls of the foot, making it quite impossible. I kept these around for 2-3 months before returning them -- during which time the rip expanded making them impossible to wear. I returned them a second time. Got a phonecall from LL Bean, asking if I had worn them outside (of course not!) and saying I was free to get them again, but they would not accept a third return. I wish they were made better. At this price, such shoddy construction is unacceptable.
