I ordered my husband's shoe size but he could not even get them on - too small an opening at the top.

Purchased 1/2 size larger than my foot size and length was too small. Ok to have a slipper slightly larger so must buy 1 full size larger. The location of the tag in the instep was the deal breaker. Uncomfortable, very thick material so difficult to remove and large lump at one end ( either glue or stitching but could not be removed or cut. A slipper should always be large enough and completely comfortable but neither happened with this Christmas gift and had to be returned. Very disappointed.

In the catalog these look like the thick shearling slippers I ordered several years ago. The top could be rolled down and they were generous in width to fit a man's foot. The look like women's slippers. Very dainty compared to what you used to get. Probably went with a cheaper vendor. I bought a pair for each of my adult sons. Expecting LL Bean quality I didn't even look at them until they were unwrapped on Christmas morning. I was embarrassed.

There are tags stitched to the insole of the slipper that are very irritating and uncomfortable. The tags are sewn up in the forefoot and cannot be easily/safely cut out.

Not sure if it's normal or if it's just my pair but the smell is very disturbing. Everyone seems to gush over these, so I'm hoping it's just the smell of the dark brown tanins, but I've had other sheepskin products before and they didn't smell like rotting dead rat. I've sprayed so much Febreeze into them that they're slippery inside and it still comes through.

My husband has an old pair that he loves (size 8 wide). He doesn't have particularly wide feet, but he likes the fit of the old wide ones anyway. I bought him the size 8 medium-width (since wide is no longer an option), and he can't even get them on! The opening is way too small, such that he can't even get his foot inside the slipper. The length is also at least 1" shorter than his old pair. We are returning these, and won't even try ordering another pair in a larger size, since we have lost confidence in these slippers now (after our experience, and also after reading reviews from others).

Someone at LL Bean decided to save money and not produce half sizes. I am a perfect 111/2. They say to order up. The result is sloppy loose footwear that also tips my foot sideways with bulging cushion in the middle of the foot. Recent research indicates that this is bad for one's feet, ankles and knees. I love their other stuff, but their footwear has major problems if you wear a half size. I am totally disappointed, and can't wear them without hurting myself.

Too small- ordered 11 and it did not fit- I've heard both ways- too small or too large. Perhaps you should give dimensions so people can size themselves correctly

These used to be good slippers, very good in fact, and lasted me 5-6 years. The pair I got in May 2020 are coming apart at the seam after a little over 1 year of the same kind of usage of the previous 2 pairs. I returned them but bean no longer stands behind their product if they were purchased over a year ago. Beware these slippers are not what they used to be and bean service is not either.

Bought my second pair of Wicked Good Slippers about one year ago. I loved my first pair so I was surprised to find that the bottom of my second pair was not at the bottom of the slipper. I was walking half on the bottom of the slipper and half on the right side of the slipper. I did not return it because I was hoping it would break in correctly but one year later there has been no change. This is the last pair of Wicked Good Slippers I will purchase.

Ordered twice. Both times the right slipper was much tighter than the left. Returned them both & gave up.

These were my 3rd pair of these slippers. I have bought them for a number of years by order of my podiatrist/foot surgeon. Never had a problem. Until now. My first pair smelled like it sat in a musty basement for a year. It stunk up my bedroom and the front hall. Horrible. I called customer service and they were very helpful. A replacement was sent. The replacement still had the musty order. Returned it. Another replacement was sent, but this time the customer service representative put a note for whoever it was on the other end to smell the box to check for that musty order before shipping. When the replacement was sent the smell was still there. Maybe the person who smelled it can't smell. Every time I opened the bag the smell it me. Returned this one as well.
I don't know how L.L. Bean can charge full price for slippers with these horrible smells. I will check other vendors who carry these slippers. Good luck to anyone who buys these and who can still smell.

Customers have been lamenting the absence of Wicked Good wide sizes for over a year (I know this from having looked back through past reviews.) Why is "feedback" still being "forwarded" to Bean's product development team "for review"? It's been obvious for at least a year that people want the product, and Bean knows very well how to produce it. Please, just bring back wide sizes already!

When I needed to replace my size Wide EE slippers I was disappointed to see that my size is no longer being offered. Not everybody has narrow or medium width feet. If Bean doesn't bring back size wide, I'll be forced to find another seller.

Right slipper is not stable.
End up walking on the side of the slipper.

You used to have wide (DD) width slippers but no more. Did people suddenly get narrow feet so you don't have to deal with those of us who have wider feet? I'm very disappointed that I can't get the wide slippers from you anymore. I'll certainly look elsewhere before considering you again.

These slippers run narrow. Squeezes my foot and is not comfortable. I never buy EE shoes, but I wish I had gotten these in a "wide."

Finally found a pair of slippers that I liked , no that I loved and the powers that be decided that they were no longer going to make them in wide sizes so I now have gone back to cheap slippers

Order and tried on a men's size 12 med D which I had an old pair that has since worn out. OMG, way too small. Toes hit the end and it was so narrow the seams were under my foot. They no longer offer the wide version which might have worked. They seem to nerf all the good stuff, like their old fleece polartech slippers which were awesome.

I have been wearing the LLBeane slippers for at least 30 years now. I love them. But my feet have gotten wider now in my late fifties. I ordered the Med width, too narrow. I returned them asking for the wide. I was told "out of stock". You did refund my money (thank you) but did not replace my slippers. So I had to go to another company for slippers. I am saddened that I had to settle for leser slippers because you seem to have discontinued this slipper.

Sorry, but these slippers are very poor quality. I ordered a size 7 because I wanted them snug (I wear an 8 shoe), but after a couple of weeks I find I have to stuff the toes with paper so they won't fall off my feet. They are too wide as well, even with the paper they are way to loose. I am, needless to say, very disappointed in the fit. For the price I expected at least a year or two of good comfortable wear, and I've gotten barely two weeks of that. If you give me a full refund I'll return them.

I must be a glutton for punishment or a Pollyanna. I've bought these slippers three times and each time they are great for a few months; then the stitching on the right side breaks and I hobble around. Still wearing them but it's very frustrating.
