My husband has worn, and loved, these slippers for years. He wore them until they were completely worn out, and then we'd order another pair. Last year I bought him a new pair for Christmas, and one slipper started caving over to the side. I should have returned them immediately, but thought maybe it was just a bum slipper. I just ordered a new pair and within 3 minutes of walking, both slippers were weirdly twisting so he was walking on the inner sides. No amount of adjusting would fix it. He has barrow feet and high arches, so I can't imagine what the problem is, but something has changed in the fit design. These are sadly going back and we will try another style

The padding/sole is so narrow that it slides/tips to the side as you walk. Very uncomfortable feeling, like you're going to sprain your ankle if you're not careful. They look nice and feel nice on the foot but if you can't use them comfortably what good are they. I wonder if the people selling them have ever worn a pair ?

I thought I'd really like these slippers. While they are comfortable and warm, the fact that they lack a solid sole, made them collapse to the sides when walking so I began to walk on the edges of the outside of the sole. This bothered me as rolling my ankle became a concern. Typically I'd recommend LLBean products...but not this time. Get something with a sole.

Put them on for the third time, using the pull tab, and the stitching on one of the slippers ripped. They were to replace a 10+ year old pair guess they don't make them like they used to.

I've had three pair of these. The first pair lasted for ten years, the second, for five. This pair lasted maybe a year.
They only get worn inside and I weigh the same, there is really no reason for them to wear out this quickly.

I assumed that a week or two of wear would have these slippers fitting my feet like a glove. Nope! They are super narrow in the toes. When I'm kicking my slippers off for relief because they're so uncomfortable, that's a terrible sign. Super disappointed with these.

These were a replacement for the same bought a long time ago. Finally wore out. They arrived. We realized that they were too narrow. We looked and found that Medium is the only width now available. So, returning.

Poor quality, returned first two pairs for being defective. The pair I kept has already ripped.

I've worn this slipper for years...probably owned a half dozen pair. However, the right slipper with the last pair doesn't hold my foot, which now walks on the inside of the slipper itself, not on the sole. I've seen this problem mentioned in other reviews. I can't tell what the defect is, exactly, but looks like there's a quality problem.

The slipper fits beautifully but when I walk my feet role off like I am about ready to turn my ankles. There is no support in this soft comfortable slipper. I should have bought a slipper with a hard sole.

I've worn these LLBean slippers for over 20 years and loved them. Unfortunately, LLBean has changed the sizing. They used to offer wide and medium width. I wore medium width and the slippers were fine. Now LLBean has changed the sizing which are now cut very narrow, almost more for a woman's foot instead of a man. As a result, I can no longer wear the medium width and LLBean no longer offers the wide width. I had to return them.

Ordered in Dec 2020. Noticed stitching coming undone. Sent in slippers and I was told there was no defect and 2 years is long enough for this pair to last. They said I wore these well and offered a 20% discount. I said I will not purchase another 80.00 slipper and instead will shop 20.00 ones from another popular online retailer that has prime delivery. I am in shock and disappointed in the Service and quality. I'll NEVER BUY again from this company.
Disappointed,

While the upper was soft and construction was good the wool lining was thin and scratchy. Not what I would expect from an L.L. Bean product. I wont buy again.

These were given to me a couple of years ago as a Christmas gift to replace a pair that was well over 10 years old. The quality of construction and durability of the old pair is not there with these replacements. The narrow width, unlined strip of leather that connects the leather sole to the brushed leather upper has tore out at the thick stitching to the sole on the outside of the right slipper. Also, they are unconfortable to walk in and feel unstable. It feels like wide width uppers were fastened to either standard width or narrow width soles. I need a replacement pair right now. Another pair of these expensive slippers WILL NOT be it.

They were great until the stitching fell apart at the sole of the slipper. The quality of slippers has fallen off a lot in past few years, but they still charge a high price for quality that's no longer there. I'll probably still order another pair, but I know I'll be lucky to get a year out of them.

The shoes, especially the right one, tends to somewhat revolve around my foot, and it makes balance a bit difficult and awkward. Not good!

Husband has always worn these slippers. Replaced a pair that was over 10 years old. New pair not holding up. One slipper has run over to one side after just a few months. Not worth the money we spent. Will be looking for a new brand,

Not the same quality they use to be. Very narrow, both slippers looked like they were for the right foot! Returned.

I bought 3 pairs of slippers for Christmas presents for the family. The stitching came out on 2 of 3 pairs just after one year. LL Bean would not accept a return even though their return policy states that they "will consider any items for return that are defective due to materials or craftsmanship" - these are clearly defective. I've had LL Bean slippers for many years and loved them, but it looks like something has changed...

The stitching at the toe perforates the weak suede too much so it starts ripping long before anything else shows any sign of wear. Nothing but condescension from my local LL Bean store West Lebanon, NH when I tried to get a refund. The whole point of buying expensive LL Bean items is that they'll last. When they don't and the company shows you the door, well that's it for me. Never again.
