Have worn these for many years and loved them. But I wish these came in a WIDE like they used too!

While the upper was soft and construction was good the wool lining was thin and scratchy. Not what I would expect from an L.L. Bean product. I wont buy again.

These were given to me a couple of years ago as a Christmas gift to replace a pair that was well over 10 years old. The quality of construction and durability of the old pair is not there with these replacements. The narrow width, unlined strip of leather that connects the leather sole to the brushed leather upper has tore out at the thick stitching to the sole on the outside of the right slipper. Also, they are unconfortable to walk in and feel unstable. It feels like wide width uppers were fastened to either standard width or narrow width soles. I need a replacement pair right now. Another pair of these expensive slippers WILL NOT be it.

They were great until the stitching fell apart at the sole of the slipper. The quality of slippers has fallen off a lot in past few years, but they still charge a high price for quality that's no longer there. I'll probably still order another pair, but I know I'll be lucky to get a year out of them.

The shoes, especially the right one, tends to somewhat revolve around my foot, and it makes balance a bit difficult and awkward. Not good!

Husband has always worn these slippers. Replaced a pair that was over 10 years old. New pair not holding up. One slipper has run over to one side after just a few months. Not worth the money we spent. Will be looking for a new brand,

Not the same quality they use to be. Very narrow, both slippers looked like they were for the right foot! Returned.

I bought 3 pairs of slippers for Christmas presents for the family. The stitching came out on 2 of 3 pairs just after one year. LL Bean would not accept a return even though their return policy states that they "will consider any items for return that are defective due to materials or craftsmanship" - these are clearly defective. I've had LL Bean slippers for many years and loved them, but it looks like something has changed...

The stitching at the toe perforates the weak suede too much so it starts ripping long before anything else shows any sign of wear. Nothing but condescension from my local LL Bean store West Lebanon, NH when I tried to get a refund. The whole point of buying expensive LL Bean items is that they'll last. When they don't and the company shows you the door, well that's it for me. Never again.

i have been wearing these all my life...why would you suddenly discontinue wide? many people with wide feet count on these and purchase them over and over for a lifetime; person after person is coming to replace their worn out pairs just to find they're gone! bring them back!

Disappointed they discontinued wide width. The one and only width offered now is too tight and we won't buy them here again. Now we have to find another source for this old favorite.

Wicked good slippers should be made in a wide width or else they are useless for many of us. They are cut too narrow, so the medium width is not good

These slippers are certainly not the quality that they have been in the past. The pair that that I recently received was defective; the right shoe being significantly narrower than the left. When I returned them for an exchange, the second pair they sent was likewise defective; providing evidence that the pattern used for making the shoe must be flawed. Although I have previously purchased many pairs of this particular slipper from L.L. Bean, I am going to look for another provider in the future as I am extremely displeased such poor quality.

Not true to size, very narrow at toe. Catalog should be more descriptive.

Returned as they were too small. Thus is the third pair of slippers I purchased size nine but these were very small.

Wonderful warm slippers that, alas, created so much static electricity on my carpets that I couldn't go near a light switch without getting zapped, which is not good for someone like me who has a cardiac pacemaker!

They are totally junk. They are falling a part. The right one was not sewed square to the sole so you walk on the side of the slipper which makes your little toe push and come out of the seam. Garbage! This all started day one! Do not purchase.

I've worn Wicked Good Slippers for over 20 years, buying a new pair every few years when they would wear out. I was very disappointed to discover that they're no longer available in wide. I even ordered a size larger to try to compensate, but I couldn't even get my foot in one of them. I hope the wide sizes become available again in the future, because they're the best slippers I've ever had.

This pair of slippers was an absolute disaster and extremely disappointing. They are essentially a man's slipper built using a pattern for a woman's foot (and marked as a man's slipper). I could not get my size 9 M foot even close to getting inside this slipper, but my wife found it comfortable. A look at the slipper shows a slim design with the opening so narrow as to be totally useless for a man's foot. All of which is a shame because I'm used to better products from LL Bean, and, this type is my favorite slipper. Maybe next year.
