I have been an LL Bean customer for decades and have always been very pleased with their products. Except the footwear sold under the LL Bean label. I wear a size 11 1/2 EE New Balance walking shoe. (They fit perfectly.) Over the last few months I ordered several pairs of the "Wicked Good" slippers in different styles. including the "bootie" and two different moccasin styles. I ordered these in a size 12 Wide. None of them fit. In every case they were way too narrow in the toe area. Beans says that the "Wide" is equivalent to an EE. Not even close. They all went back. I have a feeling that the problem is related to the country of manufacture,(Asia), and that quality checks for proper sizing seem to be non existent. And that's too bad because otherwise it's a very nice shoe. I would strongly suggest that if you wear a wide shoe, and a size EE is not all that wide, give these shoes a pass. I hope this saves you a few trips to the UPS store.

Between the plastic sole and the interior fuzzy lining is a narrow strip of something (cardboard?). It's thick enough that it makes you feel as though you're walking on a rail and my feet keep supinating. This piece is probably 3/4" too narrow for the slippers. Very uncomfortable and now I have to pay for return shipping.

Got a pair for my birthday at my request. Wanted slippers that were very comfortable, kept my feet warm and I could wear all day No doubt these met the first two criteria. Very comfortable and very warm. However, the fit was awful. The whole slipper twisted toward the rear of my foot due to poor construction. They would not last as there was too much pressure on the seam and not an acceptable flaw for the money. Returned them after one week. Correct this issue and they are perfect. I am a big fan of LL Bean and sorry these were not up to their usual high quality.

Bought this slipper at the Bean store in Freeport. Mislabeled wicked good; I would label wicked cheap. Not up to my expectations. The left slipper had a sole that was sewed off to the left of center making walking uncomfortable. Not to be used outside of the home and certainly not in any wet conditions. Better off with UGGs.

The sole on these slippers (especially the right foot) is lopsided -- higher on the inside of the foot, non-existent on the outside of the foot. So my foot constantly rolls off the sole toward the outside and I end up walking around on the side of the slipper. I don't know if this is a product defect that affects every pair of slippers on this style, but I'd be wary. I should have returned these right away, but they were a Christmas present...probably too late now, I guess (March).

The leather soles on these shoes are too narrow for the upper, causing me to walk on the outside edges of the shoes - like someone with weak ankles on ice skates. I would not purchase these shoe again, nor recommend them to anyone else!

Not good, if you're planning to use these slippers daily they're not for you. I've had my pair for about 2months and the bottom stiching is already comin Although they do keep your feet fairly warm they are not that comfortable and not durable.

Do not order this! It did not fit right the first time. I had to send it back and get a size bigger. Then, it still fit horribly. Also, the inside fleece kept coming off and sticking onto my socks. Just the worst slippers ever.

If you are looking for a slipper that you can ease your foot in when getting out of bed without having to bend over do NOT buy these "slippers". The back at the heel collapses when you try to slide in so you have to bend over and pull it up. NOT a slipper. The size is ok, My wife bought me a 12M and I wear a 13 in sneakers and a 12.5 in dress shoes so that's ok. I just wouldn't recommend them to anyone, there are better options.

First pair I bought a few years ago: the fleece came off the heel areas after about one winter. Second pair I bought a week or so ago: the right shoe has the bottom fleece pad off center so that my foot slides to the outside of the shoe when I walk.

These mocs fit nice and snug only after first purchasing. They quickly stretch out and make walking around the house awkward and unsafe because the foot slides around within. For the price the slippers should have kept their shape a lot longer.

They look nice but the bottoms are way too slippery and they don't have a stable feel. Feel very wobbly. Totally unimpressed.

Had a previous pair of these slippers that barely lasted three winters, mainly due to poor/thin leather construction that ripped along the center line. I normally take a 10.5 M size for all footwear; but since these slippers only come in whole sizes, and since the so-called 'medium' width was incredibly tight, I had settled for a pair of 11W that was slightly too large vs. being ridiculously too small. As a result, the slippers were in the habit of flopping pretty badly on my feet as I walked. They also 'rolled' from side to side on the semi-convex soles. When they eventually ripped, I brought them to the store for a replacement set. The same size of11W was still far too wide, and I figured i'd just be in for a repeat of the same problems, so his time I opted for an 11M, and have been wearing them for a break-in, only to find out that not only does the wool lining continue to come out in tufts every time I take them off, but the super-narrow 'medium' width just does not accommodate my truly medium feet. Even the nominal 11 length is far too small, as my toes uncomfortably push up against the front end. And the slippers still 'roll' on the soles since the convex bottom. Wound up getting blisters within hours of wearing these things, so am returning them for good and will not be repeating any trial with that design. Poor craftsmanship/design all around.

I bought these in the men's size because of very bad edema. I had a pair years ago and loved them (womens). They were great, good quality both inside and out. These are not very good quality. The lining is slippery and the padding of the inside sole is uncomfortable, it seems to be too high down the center and the edges are hard. The outside suede is also poor quality, it's very thin. I'm sure they will not last for any length of time. I'm keeping them because I can get them on and hope the inside will even out in time, but I will certainly never order any more. They are definitely not worth the money.

After only a week of wear the leather split at the seam along the back of the heel/leg. Very disappointed, quality not up to usual standards.

First time I tried to put them on using the leather pull tab at the back, the seam tore out at the heel. Several other customers have reported the same thing. Not up to LL Bean's usual quality standards.

Bought these for my husband. They look great online. When we received them however we were not impressed. The wool fleece is nice and soft and thick, but the leather is very thin. When my husband went to pull them on using the tab at the back of the shaft, the seam ripped out. Since that is the way to pull the slipper on, I would think it would have been constructed with more care. This was not a manufacturing flaw in this particular pair, the leather is just too thin to stand up to repeated tugging to get it on. For a slipper that costs almost $100 that is unacceptable. Returned.

This shoe was poor quality for the high price. I expected better than this. The back of the shoe tore like paper when putting the shoes on so I sent them back as soon as possible. I was really disappointed because it was the style of shoe I wanted and I thought L L Bean carried better quality than this!!!!

These were a major disappointment. The slippers are far too narrow and too short in length. And they are outrageously overpriced. This is definitely my last purchase from LLBean.

The soles of these slippers are two-tiered, so that with almost every step I took I lost my balance. I would step on the more narrow, bottom-tier of the sole, and then my foot would roll to the wider part of the sole, higher up, closer to the ankle. This feature unfortunately overrides any positive quality these slippers have, such as warmth and covering the ankle. I wish that the slippers could have the same type of completely flat sole that they were made with several years ago when I bought my first pair.

No heel box, my heel slides left/right and partially off the sole. This makes them very uncomfortable to walk around the house in, Think walking on a shoe with 1/2 the heel removed. Makes your ankles bend. I ordered 1/2 size smaller as others reccomended and the fit is good. I have to send them back and order a different style. I wore out a pair of slippers that look like these but are from somewhere else (gift). They were great to walk in untill the rubber sole peeled off, also the lamb skin was twice as thick. I can't believe others rated these so high, They look great and feel wonderful but if you can't walk in them, you get only one star.

I received a pair for Christmas in 2012. Not 3 months later, the slippers are coming apart. The leather strip that holds the upper and sole together is failing at the stich line. I expected better quality from LL Bean.

There is NO support in these slippers I bought for my dad. He nearly twisted his ankle in them since they were practically flopping around. Definitely returning them. We did buy the mountain lodge slippers and they are fantastic.

The insides quickly matted up around the toes. Did not feel comfortable at all. I've worn out 3 pairs of this brand of slippers and never had a problem until I got the recent pair that I returned.
