Bought these for a Christmas gift and they were back ordered a couple months. Just got them a few weeks ago. My husband loves them and says they're warmer than expected. A friend wants a pair now too! Good buy!

Great boots! Very comfortable right out of the box. When in doubt on size, go smaller. I normally wear 12.5 or 13.0 but for my Bean boots I went with 12.0 which fit great. So they do run a tad on the large size.

I wore out my last pair of cheap winter boots and decided to buy the last pair I'll need, instead of just another pair. These feel like the boots. I wear a size 7.5 in a popular brands sneakers and the size 7 Been boot fits perfect. The flannel lining is just the right amount of insulation to make them way more versatile than just a winter boot. Pair them with thinner sock and I feel like you could wear them in a summer rain storm just fine, throw on a pair of medium weight merino and some hunting socks over that and you've got great all day cold protection, which I have done. There's plenty of room for layers just by loosening the laces a little. Plus they're American made and can be resoled, so they're well worth the investment.

These were a gift and the recipient loves them, especially with all the snow they've been having.

I bought these for a winter trip to Northern Bavaria, and they broke in quickly and served their purpose very well; they stayed dry and have good grip.
A year later the Nashville ice storm, and I have spent the last two weeks cutting up and moving three trees. I wore these out of desperation, and figured they would just get trashed. Total opposite: They are rugged and made thrashing around the branches and mud actually enjoyable, as between my Levis and Bean boots I could move with confidence. Best thing: After all that they are in perfectly good shape. This is truly a well designed product and very well made to 'boot'.

Excellent comfort and warmth once you size right. I wear 11.5 in all other shoes. Needed a 10.5 in this boot. Fits snug but the 11 was huge.

I received these as a Christmas present from my wife, and I am blown away. The fit and finish are top-notch. They are flannel-lined and extremely comfortable. The leather is high grade and very supple.. and smells like a baseball glove. Sizing seemed roomy, but not too oversized as described. Worn with Bean Boot Socks, fit is spot on. Bottom line: Well made and very comfortable. With resoling available, I'll have these for ever. 10/10

I am a 11.5 and bought 11. They fit great. The boots are warm and more importantly dry. I am very happy with them.

Fantastic! Takes a bit to get them to break in. Surprisingly warm given a fleece lining versus a thick liner. Great traction on snow. I wear them for hours while working outdoor demos at ski hills and my feet stay warm and comfortable.

These are great boots. Very comfy and warm. For me they are sized very large like the non lined Bean boots. I wear a 9 1/2 for most shoes and for these and 8 fit well.

Boots came with only one shoe string. For as much as they cost I should have gotten 2 sets.

These are super comfortable and keep your feet perfectly dry. I wore them out with temps in the 20's with thick wool socks and I couldn't have been happier with their performance but that was just a few hours. I'm sure the shearling lined would be well suited for the long haul.

Excellent boots. Previous pair lasted me 34 years. I went one size down for proper fit. Newly improved shoe-bed/inner sole and outside sole compound are a good improvement. Same great look.

Wet cold days don't stop all the chores on our small farm. After ordering a pair of the Bean Boot, I'm wondering what took me so long. They are tortured but keep my feet warm and dry all day. That's important for getting everything done, but also help ward off colds and sinus problems stemming from slogging around with wet cold heavy feet all day.

I bought these a few years ago. I bought them in Maine while on a trip. I didn't get to wear them for a few months after the trip which was to Acadia in September. They're moderately insulated and not fully gusseted. So don't expect to stand in water up to the top of the boot nor wear thin socks in negative temps for hours. What they are though is a great boot for 4-ish inch water or snow. I run the toboggan in these in deep snow. I just tie them tighter to make sure the snow falls off without getting in the boot. I wear medium weight wool socks and my feet are warm and dry for hours. Like I said these boots can handle deeper snow if you tie them tighter and knock off the snow from time to time.

Fantastic new boots. High quality, great looking. Leather is thick and requires a little breakin... but totally worth the extra pair of socks for two weeks.
