I have been wearing the Torin's and was super happy with them until Altra changed the width on them from original to a slimmer fit and now they pinch my feet. I wish they cam in a wide width as that could solve the problem or go back to original width. So I decided to try the Olympus as they offer the original fit.They are higher then the Torin but feel more stable underfoot as the bottom is wider. They are comfortable but feel hard underfoot and not as cushiony.

Haven't taken them off! They allow me to walk longer distances without discomfort I usually develop due to foot injuries. I sized down from a 8.5 which I have in the Altra EGOMax model in 8. Will buy again. Love them!!

These shoes are very comfortable for daily wear. I wish they were more durable, but overall I like them.

I love the Altra brand, but this model is not a favorite. I get terrible calf muscle cramps every time I run in them.

Feels like walking in clouds!

Sizing for altra seems to be off but I'm used to that. I'm aware now that I have to size up one. Women's color choices are horrible as are most other brands. Can't figure out why everyone does that

Comfortable I use them for work but they are not holding up! I wish they were cheaper or better quality, I will still wear and buy them, they are super comfortable

I wanted to try a zero drop shoe but was nervous about losing the cushion of my Hokas. Was not sure they'd have a big enough toe box. So far so good. No trouble transitioning. I think they are are better shoe for me. Training for a marathon

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't ever stop making these shoes!! They have allowed me to run through injuries and recover at the same time..my absolute favorite altra shoes to date..great cushion when needed

I went to a running store and tried 4 different brands before deciding to go back to Altra. They felt wonderful on my feet. And when I was running in them, they also felt good on my feet. About 4 weeks in I noticed pain in both hips, which was a problem when I stopped using Altra shoes before (even though before that, I had worn them for probably 4-5 years with no problems.) Unfortunately for me, I had a fall when I first bought them so with that break from running, my return timeframe was up when I noticed the hip pain again. Just trying to figure out what to do with those pretty sneakers now. So although they are not good for me, I can't say they won't be great for someone else.

I love the color. Love the width. Wish more shoes were made in the original. Like that they aren't to squishy. Bought half size bigger than more normal size, a whole size up would have been better.

I have major foot issues due to Tailor's Bunions and a failed surgery. My bunions protrude about 16 degrees, which is quite a lot. My feet and heel are otherwise normal size but I'm in pain every day from the bunions, the bone hitting the floor with each step I take and callous that my body makes to tries to cushion it, the hardware left in my feet, the slightly new shape of my feet not meshing well with walls of sneakers (same before the surgery), and the nerve along the sides being upset. (Orthopedic shoes and sneakers do NOT work and are ugly and expensive.) It took me YEARS of research to find Altra, thanks to stopping into a local sneaker shop that introduced me to the brand. As you know, Altra manufactures 'foot-shaped' sneakers. Call me dumb but aren't all shoes and sneakers supposed to be foot-shaped? I have 3 pairs of Altra; 2 of which are Via Olympus and the other is the Torin 6. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day. I've worn these every day for 2 weeks; so far my feet are doing well. There is a little bit of discomfort after about 10 hours of wear and foot swelling, but I do not blame the sneakers. I'm comfortably able to walk and feel no pain to the bone, callous underneath. I love the platform and cushioning. I'm happy to have these and the discomfort is 90% less, which is phenomenal. The only thing I'd ask of Altra is to continue making shoes in Original size and larger, especially near the toe box (make slightly wider) and the extend the outer wall slightly also, to accommodate for people with issues or shapes like mine. All said and done, I highly recommend this sneaker style.

I wear these daily for my work shoes since I am standing and moving around for long periods of time and needed some support and cushion. They are super comfortable, and the foam is the right amount of firmness and cushion. I did change the laces on mine to make the shoes appear more neutral, and my biggest complaint about these is the color selection. I would love to see a wider range of colors with more neutral and dark shades. Especially because the light upper of the shoe seems to stain easily! That said, these are one of my all time favorite shoes and I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a good balance between cushion and support.

Feel comfortable but you need some solid colors. Black And navy blue or Dark Gray ( in All of your shoes not just this one). These colors look like they were made for a toddler!

I'm happy that I found the correct shoes for my feet, very comfortable, doesn't hurt my feet and love the elegant designs.

I tried on a pair of one of your light colors of the Olympus model in the store and they were very cushiony and comfortable. Since they didn't come in black I didn't buy them. I wear sneakers around for daily wear and would not want the little girl colors with my grown up wardrobe. Also, I can't imagine that the light colors would ever look clean. A few years ago I bought the Alta Timp Trail in orchid .very comfortable. Those colors are also a little "out there" but at least they look clean since the background is dark gray.
