I usually wear a 7.5 in running shoes. Needed an 8 in these

Having hip pain when/after walking and plantar issues I looked into this shoe and I'm happy I did! Ordered size 9 & 9.5, returning the 9 as I preferred the 9.5 fit better. Very comfortable, NO MORE PAIN!

I'm really grateful for this shoe, especially the black version. It's hard to find shoes with the foot-shaped toe box and no heel, but that aren't super thin-soled. I love the idea of barefoot shoes, but it's not really feasible if you're pounding concrete all day and not youthful. I've worn these a ton the past few weeks and I'm happy.

Altra is my favorite sneaker brand. These shoes are great for walking long distances with my mom on our hot girl walks. They are cushioned well, and my toes feel great in them. Love.

I walk many miles on my commute each day and when I wear these shoes my feet never hurt. I wear them every chance I get and literally buy clothes to match my outfits to the pair that I own so I can wear them more often.

I have heel bursitis, and plantar issues. These are the only shoes that have helped me! Highly recommend! Very comfy! Wear all day as I'm in nursing school!

While junk miles can be a part of your running journey, you'll rarely experience with these! My shin splints have nearly disappeared, and my toe off game is completely changed for the better! I was afraid my gait would be awkward with such high cushion but it only got better. My form has improved and runs are more enjoyable. Want to increase mileage with less aches, pains? Let the Via Olympus take you there.

I have saphenous neuritis due to a car accident.. since then every pair of shoes I bought never worked right and basically I could hardly walk until.. I found these amazing shoes, not only can I walk now much more easily but, i can climb stairs as well which was very difficult.. These shoes have changed my life.

First time in a pair of Altras. Such an amazing experience not having my feet fall asleep due to a too small of a toebox shoe. Additionally, love the orchid colors I feel like it's a throwback color and I'm all for it!!!

True to width.. This is the first shoe in many years that really feels like it fits my feet! My dominant foot may be the smallest bit short, but not worth taking back. I can walk do much better in these shoes! I second the plea for a black option, navy and/or a charcoal gray. I need (not like to but need!) to be able to wear these with so many different outfits, and in those cases very basic is best!

I personally like these over On-cloud Monsters and Hoka. They fit perfect for me, very light and cushioned for great support with a little lift.. I'm an oral surgery assistant and I'm on the go 8 hours non stop..

I finally found shoes that don't pinch my toes! The rocker bottom takes the pressure off my big toes which is a huge plus! I was able to run 10 miles with the first wear, without any blisters or hot spots. I went up a half size from lone peaks to accommodate my custom made orthotics.

Best shows I have ever worn. I am very active and need shoes that support and cushion my feet. These are amazing!! I have 2 colors, grey and white, and live them both!!

I love these shoes. I have all colors. They feel like I am walking on clouds. My feet are so comfortable in these as well. I wear all Atlras all the time. I don't buy any other shoes. Box toe shoes Rule!!!!

Via Olympus runs true to size Provides stability and accurate cushioning for the run Light weight and true needed support when running on the road or treadmill It's not a Trail Running shoe like the Olympus that's why there's no lugs on the soles More color options would be nice I do own 2 pair and rotate their use when running

I have lower back issues and this helps absorb the impact when walking if standing.

The rocker style helps with those long walks. I am tall without them but close to 6ft with them on. Your foot does kind of sit on top of the cushion area and for people with high arches like myself, my left foot was going numb. I just laced up the shoes differently and that seems to take care of the issue.

I've had many pairs of Altra shoes. I'd given up on Altra because I just need more cushion under the balls of my feet and toes at this point. I was away in St. Pete, FL and had a foot crisis in my lovely wool sneakers. At the local running store I was surprised to find these. It was as though Altra had answered with my dream Altra shoe. I love these. Yes, make them in some more neutral colors and all black so I never have to take them off.

Olympus has long been my FAVOURITE trail shoe so when they announced a road shoe I was THRILLED. Ran 100 miles right out of the box and did not think about my feet once! Took over 2.5 hours off my PB for a 100 mile race as well (19:34 :-)). These shoes are magic! I just wish they would last longer - saw wear after my first 100 miles.
