I returned these. Didn't like the fit at all. You should reintroduce the original Kinvara, exactly as it was. In my opinion it was the best Kinvara by far.

Horrible update. After running in Kinvaras for a decade, since version 2, this may be my last pair. Soles are too spongy and the new elasticized lace eyelets make getting the shoe tight without creating hot-spots impossible. I will go back and buy a few pairs of the 13's and pray they last until the 15's come out and hopefully go back to what had worked for so long. Why must you mess with something that had been working for 13 versions?

I've loved Kinvara shoes for their minimalist approach, solid feeling of connection to the ground, feeling nimble and light. I have been buying pairs for years, stocking up so that I've got a fresh pair whenever an old set bites the dust, since they're such a great fit and approach. With this newest model 14, I am so disappointed. The over-cushioned feeling of the bottom gets in the way of agility, and the way the bottom has been built leaves a feeling of instability. I've tried breaking a new set in with low-mileage runs, and after trying am left with shin splints, ankle strain (not normal for me), and unsatisfying runs. I'll be heading online to grab any unsold pairs of the Kinvara 13. For those looking for a minimalist shoe with a feeling of stability and energy, this is not your shoe. Hopefully Saucony will return to the traits of the Kinvara that has made it such a fan for long-distance minimalist runners.

They are too light. The old Kinvara's were a little more sturdy. My feet get tired in these really fast.

Horribly too narrow. I wore them for barely one day, and it hurt my foot. The shoe is much too narrow, and Zappos did not offer the wide fit here. This shoe is very narrow, and it strained the right side of my ball of my foot, I cannot wear these or keep these, but I have to return them immediately.

There is a plastic piece that rests on the ball of my foot - making the shoes painful the second I put them on. Just checked my other Saucony running shoes and they are still comfortable and do not have this feature.

The Kinvara 14 is not a true Kinvara. The thickness of the sole and extra padding make this a completely different shoe. I will be looking for an alternative.

I have been running with Kinvara for the last five years. After .25m I had to take them off the 14 and go back to my old 13. Then I bought a new pair of 13s. I could tell something was off with the 14 when I tried them off. "If it ain't broke"

Stack height is too high for a Kinvara. There's no ground feel at all. The tongue, despite being gussetted, slides down into the shoes as soon as I start running. I had the Kinvara 5, 6, 7, 10 and 12. If this is the direction Saucony is going with the Kinvara, then count me out.

I’ve been buying Kinvara forever and these are the worst sneakers are the planet… the tongue immediately falls to one side as soon as you start moving and continue to do so no matter how tight. They are also just too thin a material lately … can’t wear these running in winter. I’m so fed up bc I don’t know what else to get bc these have been my go to.

Kinvara used to be the best shoe I used for training. This iteration has changed way too much about the shoe's design. I've worn the Kinvaras since they were introduced. One aspect that I loved about the shoe was the fact that it had a naturally wider toe box. The toe box is more narrow than previous versions creating numbness and pain in my feet after running in them for less than 3 miles. I am usually able to run 8-10 miles in Kinvaras in one go, but not this time around. There is also no connection with the road. I like to feel the road beneath my feet. Too much cushion, narrow toe box, and has made me look outside Saucony for a comparable 4mm drop shoe. It hurts me to say this but I'm disappointed. I use the Endorphin Speed 3's for racing and are a fantastic shoe to run in (8mm drop) but not my favorite for trails and shorter distances. I will miss the Kinvaras.

I have worn many Kinvara models. This one is a disappointment. Same feet. Too tight in the toe box. Irritation. Six miles on them but Saucony won't accept a return.

I bought these about a month ago and wear them very little because they hurt my feet so bad. Tried putting inverts in but it hasn't helped at all.

I bought this shoe at my local running store this week. My brothers both run in saucony, so I thought I'd give them a try. Felt good in the store. Went for a 5 mile run and had to stop at about 3.5. Have a huge heel blister and won't be able to run for a few days. I will change out the laces and try the heel lock, but I've only ever gotten heel blisters in one other pair of running shoes in the past 10 years.

Have had 2 pairs of the 14's now and i thought the 12's sucked but better then the 14's Not sure why you always have to mess with a shoe thats been fine the way it was like the 13' Best model to date and have been online buying all I can find at this time. Bring back the 13 style please as love to feel the road under my feet, Been a Saucony guy 11 yrs now but if you keep making changes like this time to move to a new brand.

Went from the freedom 5 to trying a kinvara again. Got shoes yesterday went to the gym to walk on the treadmill to break them in and had to stop after walking only 30 minutes due to heel pain. If i would have went longer i would've had bad blisters on my heels, which has seemed to be a common theme reading all the 1 star reviews on here.

I had the older Kinvaras with no issues. These newer ones have no heel retention and will rub your heel raw after one run due to your heel pulling in and out of the shoe.

I have been using the Kinvara as my primary training shoe for as long as I can remember, logging at least 30 and upwards of 50 miles a week. It was my favorite shoe when I discovered it a decade ago and has remained my favorite shoe since. When I put the 14's on my heart sank. It felt like a betrayal. This is a completely different shoe. What were you guys thinking? The wider toe box is gone. I feel like I have less contact with the ground. I actually get pain running in these. Faster and lighter? Nope, just awkward and uncomfortable. Fix this.

I have been wearing Kinvaras for a long time. They always felt similar across different models over the years, but this one the fit is completely different. Make sure you try them first. They feel much narrower and overall they feel completely different. I'd stick with the 13s for now. Also, the white with grey soles have a very shiny material in them that doesn't show on the pictures.

I'm assuming Saucony's design team must have been given a directive to try to steal some of the Hoka market. That said, this is a failed attempt for kinvara loyalist. I've had every version since may number 2 or 3 and this is first pair I can't run in without foot pain. I thought I might like walking in them, but that's also pretty terrible. Hopefully, they'll see the reviews and revert back to something more reasonable and true to the initial design or I'll be looking for a new model.

Fouled up beyond all recognition. I couldn't be more disappointed in Kinvara 14's complete makeover. Changing the top to complete mesh destabilized the shoe. My foot wiggle waggles back and forth resulting in a blister on the top of my big toe. The side support has been reduced to about half the length it was. The sole tread has inferior traction compared to 12 and 13. I wear my 12 and 13s to play tennis they are so stable. I may have to wear two pairs of socks to wear the 14, just to walk. Terrible!

worse possible update-kinvara has been my go to shoe but no more-If I had wanted an overstuffed shoe I would have ordered one-feel like you are running in mush-the new heel box does not grab your heel the way the old ones did-finding heel slippage a problem-not good for running maybe a gym shoe

I'm 100 miles in on my kinvara 14's and they are still blistering my feet. Any run over 4 miles causes a blister on the back of both heels and the outside of my right ankle. I'm very disappointed in these shoes. I loved my Kinvara 12's and 13's (I bet I have 1000+ miles on 4 pairs) and I thought I'd try the new ones. While out of town I stopped midrun and googled the nearest running store and went and bought new shoes (triumphs) because I couldn't stand the 14's anymore. I do not recommend buying this shot unless you've felt the hard parts inside the shoe to see where they'll rub on your feet.

Terrible blisters on my heels, I've been a long time Saucony user but these shoes are not nice to my feet and I can't wear them. Don't think I'll be sticking with Saucony anymore.
