Not at all sturdy...good shoes that wear out far too quickly. It's rare to have runners fall apart before their usefulness. Sadly that's the case here.

I bought these because I had purchased another pair a month earlier that had a blue upper with a white sole. The black ones however for significantly narrower in the toe box. The tags on the inside of both the blue pair and a black pair are exactly the same. I spoke with customer service they said perhaps the souls were manufactured in a different facility than the blue ones. I am returning them.

Don't get these if you liked previous generations of the Kinvara, as I did. The higher stack height and new cushioning make them feel blocky and dead underfoot. It's like running on Silly Putty. And while they're not uncomfortable, the new upper design lets my foot slide around awkwardly.

I am trying to like these shoes, as I need a low drop shoe, but Zappos only offers standard fit, and these shoes are much too narrow. I need a wide, but unfortunately Zappos does not deliver these, therefore most likely have to return these narrow shoes.
I'd also recommend:
WIDE WIDE WIDE fit

I do not like that Saucony decided to raise the height of the Kinvara. I love to "feel the ground" when I run. I ordered this online after running Kinvara for five years and have been disappointed in the change. It seems they're trying to copy HOKA. If I wanted HOKA I would have gone in that direction. Still a solid shoe, but not what it was. Just my two cents!

Like many reviewers, I've been running in Kinvaras
for a while. The flexibility and lower amount of cushioning doesn't cause the foot pain I've experienced with other models. I was disappointed with the 14s, as they seem noticeably less flexible and have much more cushioning than previous models. Definitely can't feel the ground as much as previous Kinvaras either. Overall not a terrible shoe, just not a Kinvara.

The shoe is probably fine for what it is, but the sole is a big departure from what made Kinvaras my shoe of choice for more than a decade neutral, flexible, low profile, the 14s are none of those things. I returned it immediately after trying it on and bought a stockpile of the 13s while they are still widely available. Sad that I probably have to find a new model going forward, as I have no interest in the "super shoe" movement, but Saucony was great about the return process.

Had many pairs of kinvara the past few years. Loved them all up to,and including 13. 14 tho is a completely different shoe, with a completely different feel. Been using them for 2 months now, and I can't stand them! Found some aftermarket 13s the other day. Can't wait for them to arrive! Unless you bring back 13, og give 15 a low and less bouncy sole, this is my last pair of kinvara.

I purchased these after being in denial that they would run as thin as the other reviews had stated...they are indeed way too tight. If the 13s are snug on your feet, the 14s will feel super uncomfortable. Moving back to the 13s

The shoe doesn't fit as well as previous versions. It feels lose at the heel and tight in the toe, especially on the outside of the foot. The tongue seems to be too large and puts uneven pressure on the top of the foot. The 13 was a much better shoe

I think I like the Kinvara 13 better. I just don't think the materials will hold help well. I'm concerned about the lace holes and the weakness of the sides. All of my kinvaras tear at the side by the foam, but I think this the most fragile material yet.

My fifth Kinvara pair. First Kinvara 14 tough really disapointed. The fit is not close as confortable as previous models. My heels seem to get out of the shoe, my second toe is hitting the foreshoeWhy change a winning formula (Kinvara 13)? I should have listened to all the bad reviews posted on the Saucony website I need now to find another running shoe

After about a month of regular running, shoes became discolored and started to bleed. Not the kind of quality I expect for a new shoe at this price point.

Over the years the change in the kinvara had been disappointing. The shoe continues to narrow and runners with wider toe box needs are getting the short end considering there are minimal styles in the wide. I like the Rides but they are a trainer. I need an affordable light weight race shoe.

Been wearing kinvara since the 9, with the new change on these 14 I had to stop wearing them after two weeks, starting digging into my top left foot where the first lace row starts, you ruined a perfectly good shoe after years of success, I was worried about the bad reviews but got them anyway because I've been wearing them for years, but the reviews were accurate and I'm very disappointed, switching to Brooks Hyperion Tempo

Ive been using Kinvaras for years. But this generation Kinvara 14 may be what makes me go to a different shoe. They are breathable and look nice. But i have never gotten blisters and calluses with any Saucony shoe like i do with these. Im not sure if it's the seam where the upper meets the sole but by KM 9 everytime im getting a blister on the sides of my big toes. And i did get the wide size of shoe. The sole is already worn down to where there is no thread after only 150kms. The 13s were my favorite ever and im not sure why the 14s are so bad for me, but ill have find something else to get me through a half marathon as these will not do. They are ok for walking around just regular everyday use like shopping, but for me they are not great for training.

Very light, amazing grip. The sole in unique and rolls really well when running at a faster pace.
I had some great times on fast 10km & 15km workouts.
Cons I would say, very uncomfortable to walk in, dislike the look of the shoe when wearing looking down.

I bought these to run a marathon as I have run in previous versions and I thought the 14's showed great improvements. The road feel is great. Something that previous version always had and I was looking for. But I got a nasty blister on the back of my heel on my second run. Tried a run a couple of weeks later and that irritated the area again. This version doesn't work for me and was a waste of money since I can't return them now. Disappointed big time as I had to find a different shoes for a recent marathon.

I want these to be great. I was excited about the new updates with more cushion and more cushioned insert. I really liked the 13, I thought the 14 would be the perfect shoe with these new updates. Honestly the foam felt so hard that I was running on cement blocks. I ended up taking out the insert and putting them in the 13s and using those. The upper is nice and breathable but the ride was just too harsh.

Thought the lower drop (4mm) worth trying as I read it can help improve cadence which CAN reduce knee issues. Unfortunately the stiffer standard foam isn't near as good as the POWERRUN PB used in the Endorphin Speed 3 line of shoes so I'm returning. Weight is similar.

I tried this in my local run shop and was stunned by the change. More height and alot more cushion and push. The feel of my favorite running shoe of all time is gone - I could not believe it. There are going to be alot of bummed Kinavara fans!

I'm a fan of Saucony running shoes. I've had a couple of pairs of Kinvara 13s, size 11 Medium, and loved them. The 13s are no longer available so I bought a pair of the Kinvara 14s. First pair was Agave/Lava, size 11 Medium. They fit great, love them. I wanted a black pair of them so I bought a pair of Kinvara 14 Triple Black, size 11 Medium, and could barely walk in them. I measured the width of the sole at the toe-box on both sneakers and found that the Triple Black ones were a quarter of an inch narrower than the Agave/Lava ones. I called Saucony and was asked for all the numbers on the inside tags of my original Agave/Lava ones that fit well and on the tag of the Triple Blacks. The rep didn't know why the Triple Blacks were narrower but mentioned that different shoes are produced in different places and that there may have been an error at the factory that produced the Triple Black pair I had - either in the manufacture of the sole or the size label. She offered to exchange them for another pair of Triple Blacks but I didn't want to have another miss. Instead I returned the Triple Black pair and ordered a pair of Black ones. SAME PROBLEM. So I'm returning them to. Very disappointed.
