They're just too narrow. And the sole feels like plastic underfoot. I've owned every Kinvara version from the start. But I can't wear these. Just waiting for version 15 now.

This is the first time I have disliked a Saucony. For the past 6+ years the Kinvara has been my core shoe expectorant for trails and race day. I typically go through 3-4 pair for each generation. The 14 does not hold up to previous versions. This version is way to tight in the forefoot and mid foot. The added stack does a disservice to the ground feel and nimbleness that makes the Kinvara so great. Maybe there is a place for this shoe somewhere for someone, but it's not for me. This is a huge disappointment.

I wanted to like this product, but the lacing system digs into my feet at the big toe knuckle. I've put 20 miles in them and can't ignore the discomfort of the pressure. The orange loops that the laces go through has excess material that is not flush with the rest of the upper.

I've been a loyal Kinvara runner for 15 years, having probably gone thru about 30 pairs during that span. The heel on this model does not fit in the same manner as previous models and feels pinched. I'm not sure if it's too narrow or maybe the heel plastic is positioned differently. I thought the Kinvara 12 and 13 models were the best versions since the early Kinvara 2/3 days with less heel and overall structure/support to the show. I am going to load up on 13'a while I can as I fear that if the 15 is like the 14, I'll need to find another favorite shoe.

Not at all what i expected, used a Kinvara model 2 or 3 editions earlier and remember it as a light, flexible and fun shoe to run in. Only durability was not so good..
This Kinvara 14 is a nightmare to run in, its has thick layer of a stiff foam that feels horrible, no groundfeel left at all. Upper is narrow but fits as my feet are not very wide, still feels weird and uncomfortable narrow under the forefeet when running. The only thing good about this shoe is its weight. Thank goodness Saucony also introduced the Sinister, which is a million times better.

I've been running in kinvara's for over a decade now and they've always been my favorite shoe. I've always had the same size and they've always fit me perfectly. This new pair is so narrow I can barely get it on my foot. So far, every run in them has been a painful slog.

I have been running on Kinvaras for years. However, I have now tried three different 14s now and all three of them are painful across the toes right where the laces start. It seems to me that the shoe is now too narrow and the new lacing system using loops rather than slots on previous models. This results in hot spots on both feet amongst all three 14s. I have returned all three and will have to move on to another shoe unless Saucony eliminates this design flaw.

Dear Saucony: Stop it. You can't make it better. You're only making it worse. The holy grail of light, non-plated, minimalistic tempo trainers has been taken out back and shot. I tried this new version of my beloved daily workhorse on at a local shop and ran in it for a week. It's a different shoe than the previous 13 models, and I had to take it back. It's genuinely heartbreaking - I don't know why they mess with a shoe that's constantly lauded in running communities, maybe they're trying to drive people to the Endorphins. Endorphins are a great shoe for what they're made for, I own 'em and love 'em, but these are my babies. Bring my baby back, Saucony. Stop with the nonsense.

I've been a Kinvara fan since the beginning, and if this is the route the shoe is going, I'll have to find another model for a neutral, low drop distance trainer. This model is stiff, uncomfortable, and confining in the toe box. If you like the flexible ground feel and pseudo minimalism of the traditional Kinvara, stay far away from this update.

I used to LOVE Kinvaras until this new model, Kinvara 14.
They first destroyed the Fastwitch and now the Kinvara.
They made them super narrow, just like they did with the Fastwitch!
I went to FF to buy them without trying them, but the person at the store handed them to me and said, try them, so I did! Am I glad I did! I immediately said wow! These are too narrow my feet hurt without even standing!!
Please bring back whoever was in charge before these changes were made, I'm thinking 2018. These people in charge of designing these shoes are not runners! They probably just studied whatever they studied and designed these shoes without even tried them themselves!!
I'm going to get 2 or 3 pair of shoes of the old Kinvara 12! I did not like the 13 either!

I have been a loyal kinvara since they were introduced. I loved their lightness and the ground feel. So disappointed with the extra cushioning in the 14 model, going from 22mm stack to 31mm is too much for me. Sadly will have to find another brand
