This is my second pair of Hoka Clifton. The bottoms of my first pair started coming off after about 6 months of regular use. Annoying but to be expected when worn around 5-7 days per week for walking/work outs. My current pair (Clifton 9) that I ordered in February already have the bottoms coming off after about 2 months where they were worn less frequently than my first pair. I am currently waiting on the glue to dry so I can get more miles out of them. Super frustrating. I don’t think I will be getting the Clifton again after this pair.

The material is great but it didn’t fit good in my feet. This is the 2nd time I tried Hoka , I don’t think it’s the brand fir me

Wore these for about 4 hours around the house with thin ankle socks. First time trying this brand. There was not any arch support. Ordered my usual 7W. These are way tight everywhere. Shipping back. Will continue my hunt for the perfect workout shoe.

I’ve owned several Clifton’s and the fit changed on the 9’s. The toe box is so much wider, the shoes feel uncomfortably huge to wear.

I’m so bummed that Hoka has changed the Clifton so drastically. I’ve worn Clifton 6 and 7 for years and they fit perfectly and were so comfortable. The Clifton 9 is so different and not in a good way. The sole feels stiff, the shoe is bulky and my toes hit against the top of the shoe when I walk or run. I don’t understand why they drastically changed the Clifton, which was such a popular style and fit.

These feel like they are a "negative heel". I tried them on and then compared them to my HOKA Bondi's. I like the Bondi's much better and will be returning these Cliftons. Also, I received these today and they look like they've been worn already.

The color is nothing like what the picture shows. Was expecting a gray colored shoe and they are very light blue. Do not like the color but love the shoe.

These Hoka sneakers didn't last a few months, no support in the soles, and I got plantar fasciitis within a few months. I have worn Hoka for the last ten years, not sure what happened but I will not be wearing them anymore.

This shoe looks light blue and grey online. In person it is PURPLE. Very, noticeably purple.

My wife wears these sneakers as her every day sneakers. They are comfortable on her feet. Unfortunately, the build on these sneakers is pretty weak. The sole started coming apart and the tread began peeling into pieces after just six months. And she's not a runner or active person. The top of the sneaker looks like it's gently used. Verdict: Comfortable sneaker. Too expensive for a cheap design and materials.

This was my 4th pair of Hoka Cliftons and I'm SOOOOO sad the changes made to the 9 model feel drastically different from the 8 version and a completely different shoe from the Clifton 7... I waited a long time before I decided to purchase because of the mixed reviews I was already seeing, but ultimately didn't want to believe it. I'm very disappointed with the changes and hope that version 10 will resemble the past 2 version of the Hoka I love so dearly.

So, these were just not for me. The ankle area came up so high that it rubbed against the inside of my ankle and gave me a bruise on both feet. This was after only having worn them to a physical therapy appointment. Sadly I had to return them. I've had Hoka's before, never have I had this issue. Thank goodness Zappos allowed the return.

Defective, please avoid. The inside of the left shoe tilts towards the middle, which makes your foot tilt as you walk. And it makes it even riskier if you try to run in them. Unfortunately I walked out in them right away, and now can’t return them. $160 down the drain.

The problem with these shoes for me is the sole. The funky shape of the sole heel makes me feel like I'm walking in sand! It's a shame, because the sole material is very thick and comfy. But I cannot walk properly due to the shape. Also, the uppers do not come up high enough for me - at the front of the foot.

I love Hokas, and this is probably my fourth pair. However, the tread has begun coming off the bottom already. I don’t wear them every day or for long periods of time. I don’t go to work in them or take long walks in them. I just wear them for 20 to 30 minute workouts a few times a week. I’ve only had them a few months, and the peeling tread makes me feel like I’m going to trip. Bummer, because they are expensive shoes. Really hoping for at least a partial refund or a replacement pair, as they really do support well, and help my knees a lot. The photo shows a section completely missing on the right hand shoe, and where it is peeling on the left hand shoe. I miss you so much higher quality from Hoka!

I loved the look and color of these Hoka’s, but the cut on these was not what I expected. The front part of the sneaker dug into my ankle and was very uncomfortable after wearing them around the house for 30 minutes. So disappointed, this was my first pair of Clifton’s, I may have to go back to Bondi’s. I ordered a 5 1/2 W because the 5’s felt small in a store, but these feel slightly big. I’m so disappointed that I have to return them.

I thought these were the leather ones, (for the price) which I have and love. However, these are mesh and provides no support whatsoever. After walking all morning, my feet and back hurts. Can’t send them back since I wore them and was trying to break them in.

What’s going on with the back pull tabs on these Hokas? They stick out in the back and look like elf shoes. The pull tab is hard material and touches the steps when I go down. It is unsafe. After a few months, these shoes got so dirty that they look terrible. Dirt gets under the mesh covering and does not come out with washing.

They don't fit quite like the Clifton 8, come up a bit higher around ankle and/or tongue and rub on foot.
