The clifton 9 is very uncomfortable. I bought them at a local retailer and have worn them several times. They hurt my feet no matter how I lace them. Stuck with a very expensive pair of shoes.

I feel like I'm walking on clouds when I wear these. I really don't want to hype these up too much but I can genuinely say they make running so much easier on my knees and hips. My feet, knees, and hip, have never felt so supported!

I talked four people into trying them telling them I would give them the money if they didn't like them!!! Still have my money.

After tons of research, decided to try these. As an industry worker, standing 12 hours a day, these do the job. A few rubbing on some areas but I guess be a they aren't completely broken in.

Most I ever spent on sneakers, but you get what you pay for. Most comfortable pair ever!

Very comfy but the left shoe is really really squeaky and I'm not sure how to make it stop.

My shoes are wonderful. However, I tried to cancel a second pair according ordered. I did it the next morning. I was told it was too late that they had shipped. They hadn't and didn't for several days.

Had foot pain after breaking my ankle. Went to podiatrist and he prescribed a specific insert and Hoka's. I was skeptical because I just didn't think it would solve my issues probably by about 90% within 3 weeks. I'm a believer in Hokas now. I used to make fun of how they looked but now I'm advocating for them and they look fine. I just got plain black and while color and now wear them all the time! Love them!

I just started to work out at the gym and these are perfect for what I needed. My knees do not hurt anymore.

I like how the shoe is very light weight, other than that I'm not impressed. I tried to give them a chance wearing them for a week to get a true feel for them. I've had much more comfortable shoes. Money down the drain.

I ordered based on size they felt was similiar fitting to another Brand Compared to and should have ordered a size down. I get blisters when I where them because they are not fitting properly.

My podiatrist recommended a good shoe, he wears hokas too. I tried them and fell in love!

I power walk approximately 4 miles per day for exercise. I have never worn Hoka's before. They are an absolute game changer. My low back was hurting, and since changing to the Hoka Clifton 9, I am feeling on the mend. I feel like I am walking on air. My time is faster too! LOVE THEM!

I walk 3 miles a day. I love these shoes. They are comfortable and cushion but not too much. Good arch support. Will recommend!

I am 73 yrs old and used to be frustrated by uncomfortable footware because I felt I could walk all day long if I just had comfortable shoes. Thankfully I found those shoes with HOKA. I usually walk 2 to 4 miles/day with my dog and never have sore feet anymore. It's a blessing.

I love these shoes! I have always been a Nike person but after wearing these, I am forever changed. Took them with me to Disney and walked over 30 miles in 4 days after breaking my foot 4 months ago. I'm a fan!

Have worn the Clifton 5-times. These shoes were recommended by a friend who runs an average of 4-6 miles three times a week. For the past 6-months, while my body has been healing from chemotherapy treatments I have been walking. Due to chemo, I also experienced tingling in my feet; neuropathy. The Clifton offers wonderful support and cushion. I am running 1.5 miles a day 5 days a week. The Clifton support is not helpful for my running gait. I supinate when walking or running. I find my weight shifting too far towards the outside of the foot. I don't want to roll my ankle. Love the color. I will try another model when I increase my speed and distance. For right now, I can use this shoe - gingerly and gently.

What in the world has happened to Hoka ?? I wore the Bondi for years, and this version of the Bondi is unwearable and caused extreme and lingering pain in my feet! So, I opted to try the Clifton, as I had two pair of the Clifton 6 which I loved. The foam is so hard, particularly on the right side of the shoe that I cannot even walk in this new version. The other Cliftons were extremely comfortable. I am so dismayed, and the call-center could not offer any help. It is just not Hoka, but other brands that the call-center also services, so they don't know the shoes that well. Very disappointing.

I have used the shoe for walking and running on road, trail and wooden floor without pain. After a recent Road run I noticed a small tear in the shoe sole.

I loved the Clifton 8, but the new Clifton 9 - not so much. I found that there was not enough cushion in the foot bed resulting in pain underneath my feet while using the treadmill. Also, the toe box felt a little snug even though I ordered a wide. Sadly, I will be returning the shoes even though I loved the stylish all black color. Please bring back the comfort of the Clifton 8.
