This is my second pair of Challengers. They're really comfortable and supportive for hiking and running. My biggest complaint is the weird heel notch that HOKA has decided to put on a lot of their shoes. It's really awkward and annoying if you decide to wear them with pants.

I love the shoes. The fit is perfect, performs well. But after 3 months the sole started peeling off.!!

Very tight shoe. I had to double check they were 2E width. I will continue to break in the shoes only because of how expensive they are. Otherwise I'd throw them in the trash. Soles are very stiff. May change them out.

The color and style were awesome, but despite the thickness of the soles, they felt very hard. Made my heels burn. Maybe it was the knobby treads.

I buy 9 2ee because 9 is pretty narrow for my foot.At first very comfortable.Take couple days for foot to settle in. But two months wearing them for work insert wrinkles under ball of foot very uncomfortable. Replace insert with new one from Birkenstock Air cushion and work weary well. And about 3 months wear heal lining inside start falling a part.

Extremely disappointed. I had another pair of Challenger 7's & they were perfect out of the box. Loved the width, depth of toe box, cushion, the grip for both road and trail. These were clearly marked 2E, but they were more narrow & the toe box was dramatically more shallow than my original pair. I contacted HOKA & they said they didn't make any changes mid-season, but there is something that has changed & negatively so for anyone with wide feet that need a deep toe box. These put my toes to sleep & hurt a bunionette on one foot. Hoping HOKA will address as the Speedgoats are even narrower w/ an even more shallow toe box, & Stinson doesn't come in a wide. Intentionally purchased these before a new season & possible changes. Loved my original Challenger 7's in wide, but had to return these.

Looks like a nice shoe, but narrow for a D width

Thought these would be really comfortable right out of the box for my wrecked feet. They will need some break in. Will give a follow up with review. My Under Armour charged assert 10s are amazingly comfortable compared to these. Will give a follow on feedback.

This is a nice shoe, like all Hoka's, but the problem was the wide size wasn't wide. I have the Clifton 9s in wide and they are truly wide. The Challenger 7's wide was not wide. It felt very tight in the toe box with not much give of the material. I have super wide feet, so maybe this problem is unique to me. Other than that, the shoe was very nicely made and I'm sure would be a great shoe for someone with more normal width feet.

They looked really cheap with silk screened graphics and iron on vinyl. Just not impressed for the price.

I have a couple of Hoka models. I’ve been very happy with them. Very comfortable and supportive. These run small and had to be returned

I needed a pair of ALL black Hokas. The main body of the shoe is more of a gray than black. This is my 8th pair that I own from you, Fit2Run and Dick`s. They all look great and feel great.

I bought my first pair through a running store and was delighted. Suffering from plantar faciitis, they offered me comfort. I ordered a second pair from Hoka in black to wear on the golf course. These were exactly the same shoe in every respect, only in black. When I put them on, there were so much tighter on foot. I had to return them.

Shoes are well made and comfortable at first. The roll of the heel and angle, make my stance and stride different. But if it helps with the plantar issues, I'll be thrilled

i've been an ON sneaker person for years now. i needed a comfortable sneaker that also had some tread for my soccer refereeing assignment. i chose this shoe online as i couldn't find anywhere to tray on before purchase. received them in a timely manner and decided to wear them to my first tournament (2 days, multiple games, turf and grass). unfortunately after the 2nd game my feet started to ache. never happened with my ONs so i have to say i would not recommend these for long distances. i wore them the first day as i didn't bring an alternative thinking they would be fine but....now i can't send back.

Had for less then 6 month. About 6 miles a week and the top meshing is falling apart. Tred is still in great condition and the shoe is comfortable but durability is not great.

I ordered these to use for walking, as an addition to my usual Bondi 8 wides & Clifton 9 wides. While this model doesn't come in wide, some of the men's shoes fit me without needing the wide. But unfortunately this model doesn't run that way. Too narrow / too small, so I had to return it.

Shoe fit fine and was comfortable to wear. However, the quality of the shoe is subpar. I have been wearing the shoe for about one month and yesterday the material split across the top of the left shoe. For the price, one would think the shoe would last more than one month.
